We had an overall great experience with Embrace Home Loans-Maryland. The loan officer was the best we have ever worked with. The reason for the 4 stars is because other members of the team almost caused us to postpone the closing day due to minor paperwork technicality. However, Ricardo helped us to escalate and overcome the challenges so that we could close on the appointed date. We would highly recommend them and would definitely do business with them again in the DMV area.

I secured a mortgage through Embrace via Carter Scott. He knowledgeable, personable, and responsive. He helped me lock in a great APR and maximize the loan amount based on assets and pension income only. He also guided me through the online process. I had many transactions and transfers between five accounts in the two months prior to the loan. Carter was quick to inquire about their nature and resolve the balances per federal regulations. His hard work expedited my loan in time to meet an aggressive closing schedule. I highly recommended Embrace and Carter!

Embrace itself was a little different from other lending companies I’ve utilized in the past that created some weird challenges. Having said that, I’d utilize them again and Ian would definitely be my go-to!
