If I could leave zero stars I would. I took my truck in to the dealership for what should have been an easy and quick fix last Wednesday. They started the claims process where the company said they would overnight the parts. Truck needed new shocks and the struts replaced. Struts are covered shocks are not, is what we were told. The parts showed up not Thursday, but Friday morning and they were wrong. EFG sent the back shocks instead of the struts. The dealership called twice, couldn’t get a clear answer until late in the afternoon. The dealership asked if they could just use their own parts since they had them in stock and they were denied. The representative with EFG also argued that this shouldn’t be a covered service but since we were already told it would be he would “allow it this time”. Once again EFG was supposed to overnight the parts so the dealership could get my truck fixed first thing Monday. Monday came and went, no call. By Tuesday afternoon I called the dealership to see what’s going on. The pinion seal that was supposed to be sent was never delivered. It was sent to some place in Arizona. Another fault on EFG. The dealership was told “well someone signed for it”. This time EFG allowed the dealership to use their own. I’m upset because my truck should have been done Friday. I’ve paid out of pocket for a rental car going on 6 days. I call to try and get some sort of resolution with EFG and I only get excuses, they blame everyone else, they don’t offer any type of solution, talk over me, interrupt and don’t care that I’m not happy with the service I have received. They have told me that everything is non negotiable and it is not their problem, when in fact, it is because they’re the ones that have messed up. I still haven’t received a call back from my adjuster either, after having two messages sent to him asking for a call back. Completely unprofessional and would not recommend to anyone!!!!

First off, I want to say Chris P is great! I had many issues with my claim. He took over and handled everything for me which made this horrible ordeal such a smoother process. In my opinion, he went above and beyond for me. He helped me call around different dealerships to find what I needed, he called often and kept me updated, he explained everything thoroughly, and tried his best to help me. I am very grateful to him for helping me the way he did, he was leaving for a getaway with his family and still managed to try to get everything resolved for me before leaving ..... and he did. EFG needs to hang on to Chris, he is a great asset to the company, definitely needs a raise! Also, he treated me and talked to me as a caring & genuine person & not just someone just waiting to clock out and disregard you.Chris, if you happen to read this, once again thank you; im truly grateful and thank you for treating me with respect.

I bought a platinum extended warranty through Cadillac of Arlington with these people. It was almost 3000.00 in May 2020. In June 2022 my car needs new struts per the Dealer and this warranty specifically says it covers struts but since the dealer wants 6000 to replace them , they will not honor the warranty. I have not been able to get a refund or help from anyone yet. Doug the claims manager tells me it looks like a shock to him not a strut but the service manager at the dealer, Auto Zone , Orileys and the parts department at the dealer says it is a strut. I would not do business with these people under any circumstance going forward. Update , 6-27-2022 , As of today my vehicle has not been fixed but Chris P has been working with the dealer to get this resolved. He has promised me it will. I will update as soon as my vehicle is fixed. Thus far i am very pleased with his efforts to do so. Update , 7-1-2022 , My vehicle was repaired under warranty. Chris P did a great job in talking with me and the dealer to work out this problem. I would highly recommend if you have any issues , He is the go-to guy with EFG . he is definitely there for the customer.

Terrible customer service. The guy we talked to was terrible on handling our termination of out contract. They do not cancel contracts themselves but had us contact the dealer. When asked if we need to call him back after talking to the dealer he just answered "you need to talk to the dealer". Glad he wasn't sitting right in front of me. *UPDATE* I raised my stars from 1 to 3. We received a call from EFG apologizing for the service we received from the representative. The lady was very nice and advised us to send her our documents and they would do what it takes to help us.

Highly recommend going through EFG Companies. Blake at EFG is top notch and goes above and beyond helping and making sure the claim process is smooth. It’s been almost 2 months since I cancelled my warranty contract that cost me nearly $5000 with this company and I still haven’t received my money back. I called EFG today and they stated that it was the dealerships responsibility to pay me. So then I called the dealership in which I bought the car from and they cut me the reimbursement check in hopes that EFG will pay them back. The dealership stated that they never received the money from EFG but they’d take care of it and they did. BTW, I had the top of the line coverage plan (platinum) on a high end sports car and they didn’t cover the damages. I had some damage from the clutch and flywheel on a car that had only 21000 miles on it and they stated it was “wear and tear” when they sent out their person to evaluate the car. The repair cost me $6000 so I had to cancel the policy to get the money to pay for the repairs. Makes you wonder if companies like these get the money from the customer in hopes that they never have problems so they can cash in on you, but once you have problems they don’t honor it so they can walk away with the money? 🤔
Mr. Bourgeois, as we stated in response to your last Google review posted in August, you can contact Scott K., our Senior Manager of Client Services for any questions you have about your particular claim and why it was outside the contractual coverage you purchased. As for your refund - your contract was purchased, cancelled and a refund was issued to the selling dealer, all in August of 2021. Customer refunds for cancellations are processed by the dealer, not EFG. Your dealer should issue a refund to you or the lien holder, depending on the financial arrangement for your vehicle’s purchase.

Had an issue with my local Chevy dealership where they told me a part for my Camaro wouldn't be covered under warranty. I insisted it should be but had no luck. Called EFG myself and I luckily had a great experience. Their employee Cole Bender assisted me with my issue and surpassed my expectations. He resolved my issue in a very quick and professional manner and surpassed my expectations. He was able to reimburse me money from Chevy and also a diagnosis fee from a totally separate dealership who couldn't fix my vehicles issue. Thanks to Cole for the awesome help. He even answered questions of mine after his work hours which is dedication. This is the type of person this company wants.

I work at a motorcycle dealership and its always hassle free putting in claims. i have worked with most of the powersport adjusters. The only one that stands out from the crowd by being honest, fourth coming, and quick with a response is Blake. DO NOT go with this company as a your vehicle warranty. I spent over $5000 for coverage on a high end sports car. I got the MAP Protection plan that is also the Platinum plan (BEST OF THE BEST) and they denied my claim when I was in a time of need. I feel as if I tossed my money in the trash for this.

This was my first time ever having to deal with a Car Warranty and let me tell you, EFG saved me a lot of grief. Adam (Claims adjuster based out of Dallas, I believe) happened to answer the phone and gave me the absolute Best Customer Service I could have asked for during an uncertain time for me. He answered all of my questions, educated me on my warranty and let me know how the process would work. Honestly, Adam made my day and so did EFG with their service. I most definitely recommend going through them when purchasing a vehicle.

I'm a service advisor and I called in to have a claim considered for approval on behalf of a mutual customer. My Experience with Paul Castle, was by far the best interaction that I've ever had with any extended warranty company. He was very willing to help the repair facility as well as the customer. He enjoys helping and working with people, and it shows. Great company to deal with. Really smooth to make a claim for a clients vehicle that is at a Mercedes service shop. Sent spam mail to my new house. Called thinking I was calling my insurance, they told me I had a payment of $300. I was never told this was a reoccurring payment each month. They will now not give me access to the call history to verify and have no options for a refund.

I am constantly having to work with/call several different warranty companies each day (since my job is a service advisor) and I never have a good experience EXCEPT for when I work with EFG. I agree anyone considering a new car warranty should review the company and their details. Upon further inspection of EFG Companies, their goal was to create a peace of mind plan for any unexpected expenses on these new Tech'd up cars with minimal exclusions. So glad I tacked this on to my loan w/ San Francisco Federal Credit Union when i purchased a (lousy) replacement vehicle--Chrysler! Transmission defective at about 20K miles and only 3 years old! Back doors stop working one month after factory warranty ended....as always. But EFG and good ole Texas Paul (& Kelly) really pulled for me so i would not be without a car. Not only did they help me, but they came through for the 100s of families i am feeding during this pandemic. I would HIGHLY recommend this product and company, Hands Down!!! I called for follow-up with a plumbing claim and Chris Tyner was extremely helpful. He was very thorough as far as explaining some clarifying questions I had about the plumbing claim. He provided me with a specific number for the claim. I had questions about my home warranty, he provided concise and helpful information. He was extremely polite and patient. My past experience using my EFG vehicle service contract has been positive. Upon diagnosis, my vehicle required a new starter. The EFG Claims Adjuster assigned to the claim worked directly/efficiently with the repair shop to walk through/approve the claim, which resulted in a next-day pick-up! I was kept apprised throughout the process by the repair shop, and was most appreciative of the excellent customer service extended by both parties. Will I use my contract again in time of need? You can count on it!

As a service advisor in the car business talking to extended warranties is about half of my job.. anytime i work with Cole B. at EFG it just makes my job easier. and he has a contagious laugh that just warms your soul like a sunday evening fire. Cant say enough about the customer service reps that answer the phone, I've placed many calls to EFG in the past and Joe Blakley is the reason I will keep doing business with MAP. Joe knows cars and always knows exactly what is going on when I describe the issues, he has a great sense of humor, and he is from Texas, 'nuff said. just spoke with Nicole in the claims department and I was lucky enough to actually get Nicole on the phone twice back to back when I had to call back when i had more questions. she was very clear and detailed in her response and suggestions and knows her job perfectly. normally I do not look forward to calling extended warranty's but both calls to EFG were the most pleasant experiences iv had all day.

Have been a service advisor for over 4 years and found of the best over the phone assistant Ms. Mont help me after coming across a problem with my previous adjuster. She was VERY helpful and patient and made the process much easier than any call Ive had to make to an extended warranty. This very much reflects on the customer and it shows that Ms. Mont cares about keeping our customer happy. Couldn't praise her enough.

We purchased a vehicle in 2019, to find out recently that EFG was our Extended Warranty and GAP insurance company. I reached out due to wanting to sell the vehicle, filled out the form, and returned it to the cancellation team. When they responded they told me the policy can not be canceled for me to reach out to the dealership, which I SPECIFICALLY told them the dealership sold to another company which is NO HELP either! After MANY emails back and forth, they said the contract expired, but the GAP they can cancel, however, I still need to reach out to the dealership for refund information or process. NO HELP WHATSOEVER!! FIRST WE NEVER EVEN USED ANY OF THIS INSURANCE PAID OVER $3200 extra and NOW we get NO HELP even with SIMPLE questions!!!

David, Tim, and Blake are my regular adjusters. They are easy to work with and have an awesome attitude. Working in a motorcycle dealership I'm usually flooded with customers that have issues with their bike and these guys in EFG honestly are the best to work with. Customer Service was fantastic, responsive and most of all caring. I've been having many issues with my car and the dealership that "fixed" it. I contacted EFG for reimbursement per the terms of my warranty. Chris Peperlin (in claims) went above and beyond to help me, contacted the dealership directly and kept me informed as promised. As a result of his persistence & good faith, I will be receiving a reimbursement for the costly repairs to my vehicle. As a single mother, especially this time of year with the holidays & winter coming, this is more helpful than I can even put into words. I had such a wonderful experience with EFG. My car had a problem and it was a mistake on my end that prevented to be reimbursed for repair. I sent an email to an appropriate department. I have got the call from Scott. K. (Senior Manager, Client Services) at the same day!!! We discussed a situation and issue was resolved on a spot. We recently had a customer come to our repair facility and during our complimentary safety check we saw the inside of his rim was bent. This customer purchased EFG Road Hazard coverage and provided us the Contract number to file a claim. A simple phone call to the claims department and in less then 5 mins I was talking to Blake. Blake was very professional and explained in detail how the claim process needed to be handle. After we discussed the estimate and the damages, he was able to provide me with an authorization number to complete the repairs. Blake also took the time to make sure I received payment instruction by email. After talking with Blake I felt the need to let others know about how my experience was today. Keep up the good work, word of mouth is strong!

When my wife's car broke down, we called to have the car towed. We had no preference where it was taken so it was recommended that it be taken to the nearest Chevy dealership. Got a call from the dealership telling us they don't work with outside warranty companies. Why wasn't this checked by the person I talked to? They should be able to see who works with them. I can't be expected to think about that when my car is broken down on the side of the road. So now EFG says that they will tow it to another location but we will have to pay because they recommended a place that won't accept their coverage. That doesn't make any sense to me.

I purchased a 2014 Ford F-250 and purchased the extended warranty through EFG. My turbo went out on my truck 7 months after the purchased so I was thankful I had purchased the coverage. That was until I received the call telling me my claim was denied. I was told the turbo locked up so it would need replaced the box cleaned and a few other things. I asked what preventive maintenance could I have done to prevent this and was told nothing it’s a condition I could not prevent but still would not cover my claim. In my personal opinion this warranty is a big scam to take your money and offer no real protection for your vehicle. After leaving the above review I was contacted by Chris with EFG. He reopened my claim and sent out a third party adjuster to inspect my vehicle. The third party found my claim should be covered under my warranty. Chris was very helpful in the process and got my vehicle back to me as soon as possible. It took a little time but my $6400 repair bill dropped to a more manageable $1005. EFG covered the repair but the dealership squeezed more out of me on filters and things not under warranty.

Tim Barnes was quite helpful for my automotive issue! I don't even know what the part is called, but it was somewhere near the front-bottom of my car. Doesn't matter! EFG and Tim helped me get it fixed in a rapid fashion! Thanks to EFG and that Tim guy! We even chatted briefly about our dogs, as my dog would not stop barking. He has a dog named "Mark". Who does that?

I've been a dealer service advisor for 19 years. Calling in extended warranty claims isn't exactly a favorite thing to do in our line of work. That's not the case when calling EFG. These folks are great to deal with. Pleasant and fast. On top of that Joe Blakely is one of the best claims adjusters I've ever dealt with. He is an asset to your company. My initial interactions were not satisfactory nor productive. I was quite unhappy and felt as though I would not get the service I paid for. HOWEVER, once the Adjuster Tim was involved he owned the entire experience to ensure the end result was right for both myself and the company. My vehicle unfortunately had to be repaired three times under warranty but fortunately it was under EFG! They provided a hassle free experience and all three repairs were covered with little to no effort on my part. Special shout out to Ray Contu who went above and beyond on a recent claim. The dealership overcharged me on an invoice and Ray went to bat for me and was able to reimburse me on some of the overages. He is a shining example of amazing customer service and is the very reason why I'm giving a 5-star review!

As the owner of an auto repair shop (Butler Automotive) I deal with a lot of different vehicle warranty companies, none have been as courteous and easy to deal with as these guys here. I have dealt with many warranty companies. EFG is by far the best and tops the vehicle brand warranties. Cole Bender is a large part of that reason. Every time he picks up the phone I know I'm in good hands. He is polite, helpful, and respectful. I have had many good experiences with the other reps but Cole stands out for sure! I truly believe there are good companies and good people in this world and Chris Pepperling and EFG are just that. My transmission went out at the very end of my warranty (miles), without me knowing it was failing for a while. I was having some back and forth because of the miles and the coverage but Chris stepped into the middle of it and made it right. At first it was not going to be covered but Chris made it happen and now my transmission will be replaced under warranty. In good faith Chris made this happen and I can't express enough how appreciative my family and I are for this. Thank you so much. I will for sure be getting another EFG warranty on my next car purchase down the road.

I have worked with Joe Blakley and Jim Burock for the past couple years. I have nothing but great things to say about these guys and the EFG company. These are a couple of the best extended warranty claims adjusters I have ever worked with. Anytime I call into them I'm helped right away and they are very friendly. They understand that customers want to get their cars back on the road ASAP and will help me in any way to make that happen. Joe and Jim will get most repairs approved same day as I call. When there are large repairs needed it may take an extra day to have an inspection done. But, they will do anything in their power to get approvals as soon as possible so my techs can get working on my customers cars. I have never had an issue with getting repairs covered by EFG companies. I would recommend EFG to anyone thinking about buying an extended warranty contract.

My warranty was held by another company and fought with me and mechanics about repairs to my vehicle, always wanting to deny or use cheap quality parts. A couple of months ago EFG took over and not only did they cover the repairs they covered stuff that the other company made me pay for. I am very, very impressed by the level of customer care, I am really happy with Blake's customer service!!!!!

All i can say is wow! I was a sceptic about all third party extended car warranties, but this one by far exceeds my expectations. I purchased a used car, picked up the EFG warranty via my credit union and have had absolutely no issues, delays, or any of the other BS associated with may other third party automotive extended warranties that we are all aware of. NO games, great customer service and quick turn around with my claims. Thank you!!
