    TERRIBLE! DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT USE EFCU! Will charge you $30 for overdraft, even if you deposit money INSTANTLY. Takes 24 hours to see your money deposited when writing a check or depositing cash. Cannot do transfers from other banks. It’s 2022, I should be able to transfers my funds easily from one bank to another and not be penalized. Quick to take money for overdrafts but not quick to approve deposits. Also, there is no option to stop payments for insufficient funds so overdrafts are bound to happen. (Yes, I budget correctly, sometimes the wrong card is used). I’m just over the stress, this credit union is simply just terrible. They need a change in technology BAD!

    I’ve been with this credit union for 11 years now and I’m sad that I have to look for a new bank because the customer service is getting worse every time I call. I had a very unpleasant phone call with one of their service reps her name was Lakeisha she seem to have an attitude the entire phone call as if I was inconveniencing her. She gave out my account info without even asking me for my phone password, which is a first, and she was rude to me when I asked her any questions. I forgot to mention the phone call initially began with me on speaker phone and I could barely hear her. I had to end the call abruptly because I obviously saw I wasn’t going to get anywhere with her helping me. Being that I’ve been with this bank as long and my recent move to Texas, I’ve noticed the change with service reps and their attitudes and their drive to want to help becoming progressively worse via phone. I will say I haven’t had a bad experience when I did a walk in, but because I no longer love in Louisiana a lot of my business has to be via phone, but since the customer service is getting bad via phone I guess I need to find something closer to where I am where they don’t look at me as a burden when I call.

    If you have a good credit score like 620 and above, this is the bank for you, but if your credit score is lower than that witch puts you in that bad area then, this bank will serve you no purpose but holding your money, the only purpose they have for people with a score under 620 is a $500 secured credit card

    Love my bank. I've been with them since you had to work for exxon inorder to join the credit union. It's a great place that always tries to greet you personally and by name when walking in to do business. I've used many other banks also for various reasons and none ever compared for so many reasons.

    Worst bank I've ever been to. Stole 102 dollars off my debit card at the ATM and told me I have to dispute it. Seems as if they do this often. Why is it only when an individual takes from them is it steeling? ? They should be locked up
