Eave's Bend at Artisan Lakes by Meritage Homes Eaves Bend Way, Palmetto

A daughter and here husband are having a home built here. They have put down over 100k already. However, when visiting to check on its progress, my grand daughter, who's 3 years old needed to use the restroom at the pool/ rec center. We where unable to gain access to the facilities and where told its because we doesn't live here. For me this was a huge turn off. Not sure I would want to live in a place like this.

This is a great place to buy and to live. My neighbors are wonderful. As the area get built up around it, the value of the homes are increasing. I'm glad we got in early. I love the area and the wildlife. Experience Florida. The beaches and shopping are still relatively nearby.

I bought my first home in Eaves Bend and am so happy I chose Meritage Homes! It was a great experience from start to finish! Maggie sold us our home, but Mike was always willing to help on her days off if we had questions or wanted to show our family the progress. Both agents are amazing, fun, genuine and very professional. I can't wait for my friends to visit and just might get them to move here too!

Mike was amazing to work with and always kept us up to date on our home by calling us every week and texted us pictures of the progress as well! When he was off or unavailable, Maggie was always there to fill in, what a great team! They made it such an enjoyable experience! The construction team made sure the home was finished and ready to move in to before the day of closing. So happy we bought in this beautiful community!

This was by far my best experience with realtors in the area. They were all kind, welcoming, and especially understanding of my family’s situation. The sales counselor Mike was very helpful throughout the whole buying process and had a very kind sense of humor.

The landscaping and recreational areas are beautiful and well-kept. Our house had a few corners cut in building: The shower drain on the second floor leaked through the ceiling at least twice. This has been a recurring problem for several other neighbors as well. The pipes were not properly secured in the walls, so every time the AC shuts off in the evening (when it's cooler) the pipes go "bump in the night" and vibrate in the walls for 2-5 minutes (it sounds like Jumanji is calling us in the walls and ceilings). If you value a nice walk in the neighborhood over a good night's sleep, this is the perfect place to live.

RUN! Don’t build here. We have lived here two months. We still haven’t had our 21 day walk through. We’ve been through two construction managers. We’re missing baseboards, caulk, our WASHER AND DRYER, one of the bedroom doors doesn’t close, our fridge is dented, among other things. The construction manager doesn’t respond to texts. He said he doesn’t have time to fix everything. I emailed the head construction man and he told me that I was being impatient after I’d already waited a month for things to get fixed. I painted my kitchen but couldn’t finish a wall because there’s a crack in the caulk and cabinet that we’ve waited two months for them to finish. Also, no one calls before they come so if anyone does come, hopefully you’re home and ready for them. Finally the construction manager came, without calling. I told him THREE times to let me out the dogs outside before he came in. As soon as I left the dog gate in the hallway to open my slider, he opened the gate and came right inside while my dogs were still inside. We were also just told that if we change the second floor flooring, which is scheduled to be installed July 7, it voids the warranty for the squeaky floor. How can it void the warranty when it’s been TWO months and they haven’t even done the 21 day walk through. They said there isn’t enough time to get it fixed now…it’s their fault for not doing the walk through at 21 days!

Very nice community. This place is about to grow quickly. This is a wonderful place to live. If you're not in here now, get here quickly or you're going to miss out or pay too much. The Taylor Morrison and Meritage community is more like a family at times than a collection of homes and families. We really enjoy it here. I definitely recommend.

Meritage Homes is one of the best builders in town! Love their homes, and this community is beautiful! Great customer service and quality product. I’m so excited about my new home! We looked at a lot of homes and this is by far the best! The sales counselor, Mike, was very helpful and knowledgeable and cared about our situation.

I would have an close eye at this meritage houses if your getting your home build there by them. Not the best build Meritage home. Inspectors can and will over look at some stuff and still pass inspection.
