Eastman Credit Union S Wilcox Dr, Kingsport

I love ECU but avoid this branch as often as possible. Their rude they talk about clients and have flat out refused to complete tasks without explanation. This branch is terrible.

Wish there was an option for ZERO stars. We had a terrible experience with Jennifer Treadway at Eastman Credit Union. She was VERY unprofessional throughout our loan process, which ended in her assistant informing us that our loan was denied. Jennifer failed to adequately pre-approve us (admitted by her own supervisor), she misinformed us, failed to communicate with us effectively, was non-responsive at times, and did not perform essential tasks in a timely manner. Jennifer was negligent and careless with our loan application and she never bothered to contact us directly to discuss her failure and all the stress she caused us, not to mention the sellers. We requested a reimbursement of $455 for costs incurred as a result of her carelessness and after multiple emails, her supervisor offered us a $50 Wal Mart gift card - a slap in the face to say the least considering her actions caused our escrow to be canceled shortly before the scheduled closing date! Her supervisor mentioned that he would take this as a "coaching opportunity" but their lack of responsibility and accountability in this situation is a real concern and we felt we should warn other potential buyers about this loan officer and credit union.

I don’t understand why most everyone in the tricities is so fond of ECU! I have had nothing but horrible experiences in my 5 years of business with them! I switched banks and will never conduct business with them again I don’t care how “great” their rates are!

Total idiocy, came in to do a transfer to a family member, the women did not know how to do it, misspelled the person's name we were sending it to after we gave her the correct spelling, then had to get someone to fix it. 30 minutes of waiting, needless to say a 5 minute process was turned into 30 minutes. We had to open our business late due to incompetence. Perhaps working cash register at a grocery store would have been a better career choice. So glad they give out free pops.

I love banking with ecu they are very professional and courteous and have always been very helpful. My banking experience here fat exceeds another bank I have previously used.

Incredibly rude. I was ASTONISHED to be yelled at with the words “that’s not a parking spot, put the car in a freaking parking spot” when I was parked in a parking spot which WAS PAINTED on the asphalt yet she persisted to tell me there is a no parking sign which WAS NOT THERE. I will NEVER deal with Eastman again period as this is NOT my first rude encounter

Only giving it one because I can't give it zero. This place is terrible and seem like they make it their goal to screw you over. They done it to me twice.

Worst place for small business banking possible and personal banking is just as bad! They will tack on charges and screw you out of money anyway possible. DO NOT OPEN A ACCOUNT HERE!

Slowest service ever! Always spend about 20 minutes in the drive thru! Go to a different ECU unless you want to waste a ton of time!

A rep made a mistake with my line of credit but Eastman worked to resolve it in less than two business days, which I appreciate. However, the term "payoff" should not be the same as "payoff and close" which was never a problem before, I think if accounts are going to be closed it should be very directly stated, which in most cases I would think it is.
