Century Bank was absorbed by Eastern Bank. Call wait times exceed 2.5 hours, after which they told me they were unable to transfer any amount to an external bank account without providing me reason why. When I went in to withdraw much of my balance (which requires paying a $9 fee), the teller proceeded to state the amount I was withdrawing in front of other customers. I can't imagine I'll keep this account open much longer.

I am so happy I switched from other banks to here. The fees at the other banks were getting ridiculous. Not only does Eastern offer great customer service and free checking accounts but they're the only bank to have coffee and treats and REAL lollipops. (It's the little things.) The Dedham location is open Sunday...which is unheard of. I do not mind traveling a little distance to get to this bank when I have deposits or bank business to attend to. Love being an Eastern Bank customer!!
