Eastern Bank Main St, Stoneham

People here are useless! Every time I come here they don’t know what to do or just don’t want to help. I always have to go to a different location to get it done! Completely useless!

Unprofessional staff. Scenario Me: So that's ridiculous Them: That's banking Me: Alright can you give us the stuff back, the other bank closes in 10 minutes, we need to leave now. Them: Sure but you don't need to be rude. I did not curse, insult, ask for a manager, or do anything "rude". I simply did not have a smile on my face. I did not argue or anything. Apparently thinking a policy is ridiculous when you never heard of it before and it's illogical, is considered rude by these people. People are allowed to be unhappy when you have ridiculous policies and won't let them leave in a timely manner. Honestly the younger blonde teller was smirking and being condescending the whole time, as our party was in a rush and needed help asap. Hopefuly she learns making comments to people as they're leaving quietly and peacefully, is uncalled for and unprofessional.

The managers customer service is horrible! I've been waiting two weeks for the manager Friday to fix a problem with my account. He never returns my calls and said it would only take a few days and he should have an answer for me soon! No answer every time I call he's busy and now he won't be in all week! Very disappointing!!! Thank goodness for the assisnt manager Amanda she was so professional and nice! she helped me and was very understanding and fixed the issue within the hour I spoke with her! Will be going to Amanda for all my banking needs!

Every employee at this bank is as helpful and knowledge as can be and go out of their way to assist you with whatever you need. They also remember your name which brings you back to a time when banks were an integral part of people's lives!

The best banking experience you can ask for. This is the kind of bank that you can rely on and feel welcome at. When you walk in, the tellers have not changed, the manager remembers who you are, and you genuinely feel like they actually care about you and your money. Is a completely different experience than at a large Bank of America style bank. I wholeheartedly recommend trying eastern bank for your banking needs.

I'll rarely rate ANYTHING 5 stars. That means perfection, right? Few things are perfect. My banking experience's at Eastern Banks has certainly swung both ways. Yet my experience at the Eastern Bank in this locations review is outstanding.

Assistant Branch Manager Joseph was very professional and helpful in helping me open an account and with information on loans. Great customer service.

I agree with previous review. The new manager Mr Friday was so unprofessional that I am closing the only checking account I had for the last 30 years and I also paid fees over $1k per year. Recently I had questions and Mr. Friday couldn't be bothered to research or look into it. He just kept saying everything must be my error. AVOID THIS BRANCH AT ALL COSTS.
