I'm new to the area and this was my second time going to East Cooper Auto Pros. They are fantastic mechanics: knowledgable, fair, and honest. I usually wait in the lobby while they work on my car, and every interaction I've witnessed them have with a customer is friendly and genuine. I completely trust them to take care of my vehicle and not upsell me on things I don't need. I highly recommend this place! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Please whatever you do. Do not take your vehicle here. They charged me $800,00 for an alternator then proceeded to tell me they couldn't fix it. They towed it to dealership after telling me only the dealership could fix the problem when before dropping it off I specifically ask them if they service kids. Guy said yes no problem. He lied, stole my money then had my car towed to dealership. Wish there was more I could do about it. Please whatever you do don't take you car here. m, charh

I have a '69 Caddy DeVille that has stumped many mechanics when it comes to electrical issues. It was a challenge and labor intensive and therefore the ultimate cost was a bit of a moving target. Fortunately, those guys were up to the task and dealt fairly with me from start to finish. They were great to work with and took a genuine interest in the car and my satisfaction with their service. I highly recommend them!

Had my daughters Jeep looked at, they quoted me over $3500 including a new transfer case. They charged me $122.46 for the diagnosis. I took it home and did a little research, turns out replacing the abs sensors for under $50 fixed all the issues.

I have been using their shop for services since my Charleston Hyundai dealer closed. I have been impressed with their professionalism and the excellent service they provide. Today I had a regular maintenance appointment and they performed the same level of exceptional work they always have. I trust their recommendations on services they do not provide as well, and am grateful that I am safer in my travels because they did their job.

Took my old Chevy Suburban here for years and they kept it alive for me well over 100K miles. When it was finally time to let it go, Bob recommended different brands I should consider. He did not steer me wrong and once my free oil changes expired at the dealership on my new car, I couldn't wait to bring it back to East Cooper. They are honest, reliable, and affordable. And super friendly!

My Subaru forester started having serious issues with the axles and steering late last night. Saw all the fantastic reviews on Google and called East Cooper Auto Pros first thing this morning. They agreed to look at it today and even fixed the entire thing before 5pm. I really appreciated that they drove the car with me inside to figure out what the issue was before I even left it with them. I also appreciated that when I picked the car up, they had kept the broken parts and showed me what the problem was. This company is top notch, in quality, value and service. (It also is great that they have a 2 year warranty on the parts and labor) I would recommend this place to anyone.

East Cooper Auto pros is in my opinion the best mechanic in Mount Pleasant. It is so hard to find an honest mechanic that also is very skilled but the guys here are absolutely both. I have taken my vehicles to them for simple maintenance and I have also had much more involved things done here and the work is always done very well and the prices are fair. My only negative is that I wish I had discovered them years before I did!

Dropped my truck off with East Cooper Auto pros because the dealership I purchased it from couldn’t tell me what was wrong. They diagnosed/quoted the problem and called me to let me know what it was. It was there for a couple days because they couldn’t get the part it needed but they kept me updated everyday on the status of it. My warranty also covered most of the cost of the repairs. Thanks to Bob and the crew I got the truck back and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. These guys are professionals.

A trustworthy mechanic? Heck yah! I absolutely love East Cooper Auto Pros. They will be straight with you - they won't beat around the bush or jack up the costs. :) #dadtrusteddadapproved

I don’t leave reviews often but finding a trustworthy mechanic can be exhausting - i ended up taking my 10 year old car to east cooper after calling multiple places in town and I’m so glad i did! They provided great customer service, honest answers and we’re fair priced! Took my car in after a belt snapped and they had it fixed in no time. They took the time to make sure everything was safe and running properly before giving it back to me. I will definitely continue to use them moving forward.

Mechanics were very nice, communication was great and all my questions were answered patiently. One of the guys even gave me a suggestion on a less expensive way to have my repair done so they immediately earned my trust. The process went smoothly. I’ll definitely be back!

East Cooper Auto Pros, are great! Our son moved to SC from VA, so when his truck needed work, we were anxious, as we did not know any mechanics in the area. East Cooper was highly recommended, so we gave them a shot. We were very happy with their service. Open. Honest. Quick. Explained things well. Would recommend to anyone!

Used to take my Pontiac Grand Am and they have always been honest and very imformative about what the issue was/condition of my car. Now I trust them with my Toyota. They always inform you what's wrong and the cost before starting any projects. They were very flexible with my recent repair in letting me pay for any maintenance/parts in advance and then dropping off my car the following week for the labor and paying for the remainder. The front desk is great and the mechanics are really nice and friendly when you walk througb to pick up your car. I will always recommend them to anyone who has any car issues.

Great place to take your car! Started taking my Yukon there after Hendrick Chevrolet told me I needed coolant flush. The pros here told me I didn't need it and didn't charge me. That got my attention. On my most recent trip for another issue, they promptly fixed my issue and let me know that one of my tires were split, after they heard a vibration when test driving. Thanks for keeping my family safe! I'll be taking all 3 of my vehicles here now. Only con is that the waiting area is small. 5 stars!

I've been a very satisfied customer for the past nine years, with six different cars in that period. Every time I've come here, I'm treated courteously, the work is done professionally, and the costs are very reasonable. I am always given good advice, often saving additional expenses, and I appreciate and trust their feedback. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my car repairs.
