Wow! What an amazing experience. This was a quick closing and Mark and his team were able to make everything happen and meet all of the aggressive deadlines outlined in our purchase and sale agreement. I've worked with Mark Chaffee and Mortgage Financial on several mortgage transactions over the years. Mark is extremely knowledgeable. He's been in the business for long time and it shows. He and his entire team are most professional, and almost instantly responsive to calls and emails. Mortgage Financial's documentation requirements are thorough, but I wouldn't say excessive. They maintain an easy to use web portal for uploading, e-signing, etc. I've found their rates and fee structure to be at or near the best available. My wife and I had refinanced our primary house in MA with plans to purchase a second home in Florida all with the same mortgage company.
