Doug and his team are nothing short of amazing! This is my second time working with Doug (first was the purchase of my home). I had a very difficult refi because my income is so complicated, and Doug did what he does and got it through. Doug has a lot of experience and found the best rates and mortgage for me. I was purchasing the property as a first time homeowner and also as a single woman and Doug made me feel like he was for me the entire time. I went to Doug after I fired another broker who said, "these are all boring numbers, you don't need to know all the details!" Doug, on the other hand, spent 90 minutes on the phone the first time talking me through everything. We ended up dealing with a seller's broker from hell who wanted to control the entire process. Despite that, Doug remained calm and professional and had all the right answers for me. I also had him fill out an excel spreadsheet for me which he did without complaints! I have a very busy job and not available easily but Doug and team made sure I got them all the paperwork that they needed by constantly nudging me and keeping me apprised. We had to get an extension on escrow (seller's agent from hell!) and Doug paid for the loan lock extension and contributed to closing costs to make sure the deal didn't fall through. In the end, Doug and his team made sure the loan was funded in less than 2 weeks! It was amazing to see their attention to detail, professionalism and integrity. The whole process from start to finish to include the closing went smoothly and without any issues despite many complications!
