I’m from out of town I went in and seen a bass guitar that I liked but they wouldn’t let me take a picture of it owner was very rude said he was done and so am I there’s a thousand pawn shops this one is definitely over priced.

Waste of time, don’t bother (Edit) just because a person doesn’t know the brand doesn’t mean anything, it’s been in my closet since middle school, they seem to be racist and prejudice as well! Shocking lol They saw me pull up in a blacked out charger and met me at the door, didn’t even want to let me in lol and tell the people who you referred me to!

I want to thank the owner at Doc Bros. I walked in the store with a smile on my face and a pocket full of money, ready to spend it all on stuff I don't need, again, with a smile on my face. After looking at a few guitars, I picked one up to test, and it needed tuned. And as a proficient musician, it was no issue for me to tune the instrument. The strings on this guitar had to have been at least 5-10 years old. While tuning the high E string, it snapped due to wear. Anybody who would have tried to tune the guitar would have broken the string. Guitar strings break. Sometimes after playing the guitar for only one day. And this is not an issue, because they cost 2.50 for a pack of six. Well, when the string broke, the owner (doc, I guess?) became abnormally up set for the situation, took the guitar out of my hands, and complained, "now I'll never be able to sell it!" I offered to put a new string on it, and he just mumbled to himself frustratedly. So I said, "if you'd prefer, I can go buy a guitar someplace else?" To which he responded by mumbling to himself for a moment, eventually saying "yes, you can go someplace else." I chuckled and obliged, also letting him know that I would tell all my friends (who are also musicians who frequently spend significant moolah on instruments) all about my experience in this shop. As I was saying before, I want thank doc bros. They saved me from myself when I was about to recklessly spend a lot of money on things I probably shouldn't have. Thanks, Doc! *in bugs bunny voice*

I was definitely surprised to see the comment about the staff being rude and any other negativity about the store. The staff is absolutely amazing; very respectful, understanding, and trustworthy. I absolutely love Dock Brothers I will never go to another store and get the same welcoming atmosphere. My family has been going to Dock Brothers for years. If I could recommend any store to pawn or buy beautiful jewelry at, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Dock Brothers any day. I love Alex and his wife, go and visit them today !!!!!

I recently went to Dock Brothers to pawn my engagement ring and in no time I was in and out with my cash. Unlike a chain store they are family oriented and really care about their customers. The staff there was great especially Alex. He answered all of my questions and explained how everything works.This company is trustworthy and they pay very good money. I couldn't of asked for a better experience and I will be using them again.

The owners of Dock Brothers have been nothing short of amazing. They have treated my fiancé and I with such respect and friendship in our searches. We ended up buying the most beautiful engagement/wedding ring from DB. We couldn’t be more happy. We r customers for life.

Dock Brothers has a very impressive selection of engagement rings and estate jewelry. The owners are always on sight and everyone is extremely friendly. I've sold them broken gold jewelry as well as older estate pieces and they have always been honest and fair with me.

Great place if u need a little extra cash till payday always been kind and friendly they will work with you if ur in a pinch and can't make ur lay.ent on time o other pawn shop would hold your items for you I was 2 months behind thought I had lost my items until I got a txt asking me to make a payment please I was shocked they actually held my items so I didn't lose them od give them 5 stars anyway thanks

Dock Brothers Jewelry & Loan was a fantastic find for me. I bought a vintage instrument. What a selection! They were helpful, courteous and very friendly - and bonus...very fair! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. The building is well lit, modern with parking. Win - win! I'll be staying in touch with them for future purchases. A real gem in downtown Indianapolis. I went to dock brothers yesterday for the first time. I was very happy I chose them. The owners are very friendly & helpful. They have a great selection of musical instruments. Especially guitars & violins, & a great selection of jewelry. More mens rings than I've seen at other shops. I was there for a loan this time. The diamonds I brought were nice, but not as good as the jeweler said. The owner took the time to show me the flaws in the diamonds. And explained the difference between appraisal amount & resale value. Great honest people that I would definitely recommend to anyone trying to sell or buy diamond jewelry.

I've been coming here about 3 years now. As a musician my finances aren't always as stable as I would like to be. There have been many times where I've had to take out a loan, and I'd been to other shops in the past. They were run down, kinda trashy, and just didn't get great service. I went in to Dock Brothers once, and haven't been to another since. This place is super credible with decades of business, and they have always bent over backwards to help me in my times of need. Tons of tools, lots of guitar and bass selections with plenty of electronics and jewelry as well. I'd recommend going here if you're in a bind, or you want to buy some good quality stuff for good prices.
