Recently I refinanced my home with Direct Home Lending.It was a great experience working with Diego my loan officer. During our first conversation we established the basics,next day-loan application,after three weeks-the notary signing of documents. The whole process was easy and fast; also DHL offered competitive low rates and I took advantage of that opportunity. Diego was very helpful during the entire refinancing process, made everything easy,answered any of my questions also was exceptionally patient with me through uploading the documents.He was very responsive,always there when I needed ,always courteous and professional, everything he promised- he delivered.It was a pleasure to work with him. I would highly recommend Diego and Direct Home Lending based on my experience.

My loan officer Diego R. was patient, detail oriented, and very responsive. He helped and followed up all through my loan process from the beginning - quoting the rates until the loan was funded. The Direct Home Lending was a great company to work with. Blake was helping us from the beginning till the end of the refinance process and we got the best rate. We had a refinancing for our condo that recently we changed from primary residence to an investment property. We had come across the lenders reluctance to fund investment properties or offer a higher rate etc. It was wonderful that Vanessa responded to my query about refinancing our condo. From that point on, we had a smooth sailing. Ariana took over the processing. She is also pleased to work with, highly professional and also a problem solver. Our review reflects our experience with Vanessa and Ariana. The Company offers good value and packages that provide flexible situations. The company could certainly improve in the process of approval. We found the errors traced back to the credit companies and their idiotic algorithm for assignment of FICO scores. I would advise the borrowers to scrutinize their credit records, and contact the credit companies to correct their errors. Doing such preparatory chores could save you a lot of time and grief, compared to hearing from your loan officer.

We couldn’t be happier with the service we received at Direct Home Lending. Harry and Steven were phenomenal as they helped us through the process of refinancing our home loan. The process of buying and refinancing can be very daunting but thanks to the help of Steven and Harry they made the process understandable and easy. Jason Beers is the BEST. I would give him 10 stars if there's 10 stars. I am self employed and he was able to close the loan in 3 weeks! He's very passionate in what he does and he's very on top of things and answered my email right away regardless of time and day. I recommended my friends and family members to do the loan with him. Blake Belshe and his Loan Assistant Taylor are the best. They made my home refinancing transaction goes smoothly and quickly in a much quicker time compared to my previous refinancing transactions with other lender. Blake also helped me find a way to save money and time on appraisal transaction. When I first talk to Blake, I found him much easier and friendlier to talk to than the other Loan Officers from other companies during the time I was searching for the right lending company. So obviously I chose him and I’m really glad I did. I highly recommend this company for all real estate financing needs.

This is Great Company to work with , I give them 5 starts because they are honest and do things the way they should be done. when they tell you something its exactly the way it is and always has been since day one they do business the way I was raised and taught you shock someone hand and agree on something you better mean and stick to it , because all a man has is his word and without your word your worthless and cant be trusted , and in my book when Brain tells me something or make a deals over the phone , I know his word means something and it will never me questioned , He tells your something trust him and you will never have any worry about anything with Direct Home lending . Absolutely the best home mortgage lender I've worked with. Steven and Taylor were an exceptional team that went above and beyond. Steven was able to advise on the right loan for our situation and did so in a way both me and my wife could clearly understand. Taylor was incredibly responsive during underwriting and answered every question we had often in just minutes. I could go on and on but the best testimony to this company and team is there were zero surprises. Each and every step of the process was clearly defined for us and each of those steps was executed exactly as described right to the close and funding of the loan. Everything was virtual except for the notary signing of documents and had a wonderful whole process experience thanks to Vanessa and Ariana’s constant and timely communication even after I changed the loan terms, both were very patient and explained everything. It is hard to believe that in this market there is a company that does exactly what they say. I had the pleasure to work with Jason and Veronica at DHL. They were extremely responsive every time I called them and they always were there every step of the way to make sure that we stayed on track. After reading their reviews online I decided to check them out and was not disappointed. I worked with Vanessa and Veronica who were both very personable, extremely professional and knowledgeable. I don't know how this could have gone any quicker or easier. I think about it and I'm still surprised how easy it was, definitely worth a call.

Used DHL to refinance our mortgage and it turned out well. I was a little wary at first since everything was being done virtually and I had no prior knowledge of the company. There was some miscommunication at the beginning regarding quoted rate on the paperwork, but it got worked out. Very quick process overall and they seemed to be available for questions when needed. I think our process was around 12 days, which kept us in our quoted rate window. If you are organized and have the ability to get digital versions of various paperwork needed, it should be a very straight forward process.

I worked with Brian a couple of years ago. He and his team were professional and handled all the paperwork quickly. At some point I started to consider selling the property instead of refinancing, so we actually did not close. Nevertheless, my experience with them was really good.

Read through to learn about unpleasant surprises. I applied for a loan to refinance my home through Direct Home Lending (DHL). I wanted to refinance without closing costs. The initial offering looked acceptable; so, I started the process. After submitting the required documents, I was told my property must be appraised. I told DHL I will wait because, based on some reviews online, there were complaints that after the appraisal, their loan was not approved and they lost their appraisal fee. I wanted to make sure everything was in order before the appraisal and DHAL acknowledged. More and more documents were requested and were provided. Finally, I was informed that all documents were fine, they only need the appraisal. The appraisal was done within two days. When I received the final papers, I saw over $1,000 unexpected closing costs! When I mentioned that to DHL, they said the approval process took too long and they had to extend the locked rate and that costed more. I told them I had all the emails with DHL to show I was not responsible for the delays. They came back and said they wanted to help the transaction through and cut the amount by half. By that time, I had contacted my current loan holder and they offered the same rates. They said the appraisal can be done on-line at no cost since the refinance amount was less than 40% of the property value. I decided not to proceed with DHL on principle. In process, I lost the appraisal fee. Although DHL agents were courteous and professional, the outcome was not good. Perhaps they are dealing with some banks that are not dependable. As a consumer, I recommend going with more reputable major lenders to avoid unexpected expense and aggravation.

From my first conversation with Blake Belshe, I felt he was working in my best interest. He offered a variety of loan options and provided solutions for possible problems. He was always responsive and proactive during the loan process. Loan processor Veronica was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was always personable while doing a difficult job. Her professionalism and knowledge was outstanding. She went the extra mile to make it happen on time and as promised. Can't say enough good things about the DHL team. Overall an A+ experience.
