This place is a joke. That's why their store is empty. My millwaukee pack out and every cordless tool all new they say isn't worth anything. ROLMMFAO. ZERO STARS
Sorry we couldn't help you, Henry. Even though we shared up front we only take 20 volt and up cordless equipment, we did try to make an exception. As we said, have great respect for Milwaukee tools, but yours were all 12 and 18 volt. All the items were permanently marked with (I assume) your initials, and had definitely been used. We still offered to do something. When you said you wanted a 500.00 loan, I realized we couldn't help. I hope you're able to find the help you need.

Edit-- sir you are wrong. Your employee stated I had 90 days to pay. I was within my contract time. Your store same as stole from me. You will reap this bad business. Because what goes around comes around. I was honest in my dealings with you. Too bad your store wasn't. If you checked your prior records you would see I have been a loyal customer. But never again. Unethical, unreliable, untrustworthy. 0 stars 5 thumbs down👎👎👎👎👎 They same as stole my PlayStation 4 and 18 games. I was paying on my ticket every other month because they said it would be fine because I had 90 days before it was taken. I was due on the 26th of every month, and paid on Nov 2 and they took it on Jan. 4th. And my time want up until the 26th. And they knew I would pick it up because I had pawned it with them before and paid on it the same way and picked it up after several months. I had a hip replacement in November so I was unable to get there in Dec. Still the 90 days wasn't up. They made me buy back my own system, or what's left of it because they have already sold one controller and my games. I don't recommend anyone using them. They are unfair and untrustworthy. If I was able to leave this without any stars I would. They deserve zero stars.

Just to clarify, the forfeiture date of a pawn in North Carolina is sixty days from the due date, not ninety days from your last payment. All of this is explained in detail on your pawn receipt. And, although we are not required to do so, our policy has always been to extend a five day grace period beyond due dates. Your forfeiture date was in fact December 26th. In your particular case, we extended that grace period to ten days.

Very impatient!! Pulled up to the store at 5:30 and they said “they didn’t have time” missed a gun sale for sure. It would have only took 2 minutes of there time!!! Not going back!!!
Dear Bass24/7. We are sorry we were unable to meet your particular need on Monday the 31st. For insurance and security reasons we do not reopen after closing at the posted time of 5:30. Gun sales do take longer, due to FBI paperwork and background checks. But had you been in the store before closing, we would have gladly completed your transaction, regardless of the time. Perhaps we can make it up to you somehow in the future.

This shop has an above average inventory with lots of great items but the problem is pretty much everything is priced through the roof! So high I didn't even bother trying to negotiate but who knows maybe they leave ALOT of wiggle room with prices but if not I'd say they will be holding on to most of thier items! And I sure hope they at least pay as good as they price stuff but I would assume they buy something then price it for 4x OR MORE what they pay.... But guess if you are lucky enough to be in the upper high class of Shelby with plenty of extra money lying around then you would probably love this place!

Ive purchased several instruments from them over the years and everything has worked great! They have a great selection of musical equipment and reasonable prices. It's clear they have a standard for what they buy and sell which is great for us customers!

Don't go to Diamond Pawn in Shelby NC..... They practice illegal business tactics.... They took a $50 payment from me for a layaway guitar. Then they Claimed that they had not received my payment.... I then proceeded to show them the paypal transaction ... They saw but still denied it I then called paypal and the rep agreed that the payment had infact went trough but they still denied it.... I waited a few days to give Diamond pawn a chance to change their tune... I asked the same guy if they had found my payment he immediately started stuttering shift illy and again told me no.... So now Im having to dispute the payment instead of sueing them because I cant afford to sue over $50... So yeah Diamond Pawn Gets away with basically robbing me... Is this fair what did I do to deserve that....

This gentleman came in with some items, and we weren’t able to loan him the amount of money he requested. He had said his truck broke down. Unfortunately we weren’t able to help today. Hope you get it up and running soon!

Better than most pawn shops. Great selection on games and other electronics. Prices are iffy though, but nice pawn shop!
