DHS Jewelry and Loan Palm Dr, Desert Hot Springs

I love this shop so much! They helped me with a TV when mine broke and even put some money in my pockets with it. I recommend this shop to anyone and everyone! Excellent service and the employees are fantastic! Can't wait to do business again!

DHS is the best pawn/loan shop in the Palm Springs area. Most of the other pawn shops in the Palm Desert area only deal in jewelry. Victor gave me the loan that I needed on my electronics while I was waiting for my deposit to hit. DHS lent me a decent amount of money on my electronics and when my deposit hit later that day he only charged me $10 per ticket instead of the entire amount of interest on my pledge and returned my items in good condition with no problem.

Our family has been with this pawn on and off for 20 yrs,never once have I ever had a problem with these guys till now. New owners have done good but be warned of SHADY practices in regards to your ticket. I have always retrieved my possessions and renew my loan in a timely manner. They are supposed to by law mail a reminder that your loan is due. I have been going by this for years ok late notice,good renew or retrieve. This new system for some reason hasn't been sending them out and led to me losing one of my items. I pointed this out to them only to be called a liar. Why not look into it? See the records in computer. I have no reason to make up such a claim. I am bothered because it was a sentimental item that was my sons. I had it in there renewing it for a year as we didn't use it and needed the loan. My next item is due and still again no notice. So please be careful with these guys and watch your dates accordingly.

To be honest i didnt even want to give this place a star (PERIOD) but in order to make a review i guess they can have the one star they dont deserve. First of all the customer service sucks! No one greets you as you enter (w/ 3 employees at that slow ass place though?) guess they have more important things to do (then make some $$) .... they dont take (REAL GOLD/anything unless it weights 50 lbs) yess this is shade like ppl come to bring things in for a lilttle loan (and they acting like theres rich ppl left and right in this town to be giving their low budget ass pawn shop something like that) !!! like wth do these pawn shops take now a days .....not a damn thing but they want to sell (fake jewelry that you could never sell any where else) my advice for anyone make sure you get if the items you buy are legit & real .....because when it comes down to it they will over sell it to you and it would be worth a damn penny) yall suck tho bit the pawn shops in PS has more swag (aint no shady owners there) !!!!

They are a pawn shop and of course the name of the game is profit. However, they are extremely fair compared to most places and blow Rocky's out of the water. For a brand new ps4 black ops 3 edition with 1terabyte memory Rockys offered $70 Lol here they lent me $150 and told me I could even barrow more. I would definitely recommend this pawn shop.

This pawnshop is the best when you need a little cash and you have something for sale or want to pawn. The staff seems to always help out people in need.

straightforward gentlemen here are fair and friendly. I got a good deal on a ring, and even purchased a great TV pretty cheap and I had a return guarantee for any reason! That made it a win/win for me. They are next to the AutoZone on Palm Drive. Check em out, CLOSED MONDAYS! .

I needed to pawn something and I looked online and it says they close at 6 o'clock in the evening so I got there at 5:45 and they were closed and I knocked on the door and they said were closed! I said it is not 6:00 yet and he said "hours may vary"! They had 2 guys behind the counter and they could have helped me if they cared about customers . So don't go by the hours they post online because that's a waste of time. Kinda messed up !!

I highly recommend people to go to this pawnshop and get loans they’re real nice customer service is quick and easy and prices are really reasonable on the loans I go there all the time Victor always takes care of me Nick does to they’re really cool guys. I will prefer people to go there .
