We just closed on our home today and worked with DHA Financial the whole way. Danny, our initial contact, was attentive, helpful, and responsive from our first inquiry. His other team members we worked with were also friendly and quick to respond to emails. The only slight complaint is how the approval process felt drawn out with ongoing, and sometimes unclear, requests for documentation. However, I'm not sure if this is a direct complaint with DHA or just the process of loan approval in general. The best, and most important part, is that Danny and his team got us a great interest rate for our loan with comparable closing costs. We would definitely use DHA in the future and recommend them to others.

Truly an awesome experience working with Cheryl Thompson and DHA. We weren't the "ideal" candidates as far as credit scores go but she worked with us and helped get us the house we wanted. She was great at communicating with us and let us know exactly what we needed. We will definitely be giving her a call when we need to refinance or decide to buy another house!

We have done two fixed rate refinancings with DHA this year (2020). Rates kept falling and the costs are so low it made dollars and cents. We worked with Blasé on both loans. We now live in a large home on the San Diego coast for less that the rent of a two bedroom apartment. DHA was quick, low cost, and very easy to deal with. We can and have recommended them to friends and family. We and nobody we know is employed by DHA or gets ANY remuneration from DHA.

Alicia and her team did a phenomenal job getting our mortgage closed before the end of the year. Just as we got through all the financial work and were days away from closing the appraiser made an unprecedented mistake on our appraisal which threaten to the kill the deal. Alicia fought to find a resolution to the mistake that had nothing to do with DHA. We always felt like we had an advocate on the inside we could trust to do battle for us. To say I would recommend Alicia and DHA is an understatement. Plenty of people can process a loan, DHA showed they can handle the unexpected and the unprecedented and still get it done.
