DCCU now ZING Credit Union is an amazing credit union. I have been with this credit union for 20 years. The representatives are always nice and helpful every time I either go into the branch or if I'm in a drive up window. Recently I had to call ZING and I spoke with Adam, he was very helpful and took care of my issue as soon as possible. He was polite and very professional. Thank you so much!

Got an auto-loan from them for my pickup truck in January and they offered the best rates when my dealer searched for financing. Called in today twice for customer support to set up my online account and they were quick to answer and resolve my issues. Very happy with their service so far

The usual, not my job, let me transfer you to someone who can help, who then doesn't answer and doesn't return you message. Call and wait on hold again for 15 minutes, no I'm sorry I can't help you. I had to push to talk to the manager and then had to argue with them to complete the payoff request amount and do their job. Even the manager had the "sorry I can't help" attitude making excuses instead of coming up with solutions, which I had to give to her, so she could do her job. She was able to complete my request despite her excuses thus, she was just being obstructionist and trying to get out of doing her job. At least they didn't hang up on me and completed my request finally after 45 minutes of being put on hold and pushed back on. If they actually have to think about something to do their job, they can't seem to handle it, and then they try to get rid of you. This is probably another company that is terrible to work for and everyone hates their jobs so they take it out on the customers. Or they could be understaffed as they are underpaid. Who knows, but it's just not fun to deal with, so keep away from them. Don't fall for the bait of low interest rates on loans with them, it's not worth it.

When it was Denver community credit union I personally found the bank to be 5 stars. After the transition to zing... I have had nothing but issues especially pay bills from external accounts. It is rare that you experience an institution that goes from a strong functional website to a completely useless one. Looking forward to my loans pay off date I won't be using zing... ever again. Who came up with such a ridiculous name, "if it isn't broke don't fix it"... DCCU was Professional. Zing is something from a childs cartoon. Great job going woke.

Opened an account but then never heard a word about it. I called a week or two later and was on hold for 15 min. The rep told me that my account was active and ready. He didn't know why I was never told or send a card and couldn't get an answer from another rep. I immediately closed the secret account...so unfortunate since it is right down the street. UPDATE: Still trying to close account. They misplaced my documents I signed. I am to sign again to release my funds and close my account. This institution is a joke and half.

Brenda was absolutely amazing. She was VERY helpful in helping set up the acct she even fixed the mistakes that the dealership made. She went the extra mile to help us and she didn't have to. She is awesome !

Use to be good.....they gave me pre approval for an auto loan at a higher rate then tried to under cut the other credit union.....then different loan got pre-approval when i submitted the car they tried to change the rate and the down due to the "age of the car"......now just trying to transfer between accounts and she hangs up on me? Done ...never again...closing it all down today.... The bot says contact them....i have.....still no help....infact i went to the location yesterday and they undid my request!?

The new name sounds very low budget versus Denver Community Credit Union. Like did I get my debit card from Walgreens/CVS? Giving very prepaid, middle school.
We understand this name is quite different and that this is a big change. I also felt like it was pretty shocking. However, we also understood that to fulfill our mission of making a difference in more members’ lives, we needed to make sure more people felt included and able to join. Years of research indicated that as long as Denver was in the name, many that lived in the suburbs did not feel included. We are making this change to serve more people in our community.

During the height of COVID in lock down I really needed help from DCCU and they wouldn't help when I most needed it. I am closing both my accounts within the next week and will never bank with them again, plus their telephone customer service lacks in kindness when speaking to a rep. DON'T BANK HERE!

DO NOT USE! I recently had opened an account with them hoping to build a local banking relationship. This week my ACH direct deposit didn’t show up in my account so I went to the bank to see what was going on. I was told my account was flagged because of mail getting sent back. Of which I was NEVER NOTIFIED via email, a call or on the app. The banker confirmed my address was real and I showed him mail that I had gotten at the address to confirm it’s working. Once my account was unblocked the banker told me they have already rejected my deposit and I need to reach out to my employer to re-issue the payment. But it’s a holiday weekend and they aren’t open so now I’m going to get charged late fees from bills I have due today and won’t get any money until Tuesday. So not only did they reject good funds, they didn’t notify me and they said they can’t do anything about it. The gentleman who helped me was nice but seriously stay clear of this bank. If they cause you financial hardships they won’t do anything to help out. I will be closing my account as soon as I get my direct deposit and will be spreading the word about the horrendous experience of this place

I applied for an auto loan on their website which was an easy experience. Lawrence contacted me the next day for some additional information and I was set to go. I got an amazing rate (nearly half point below next competitive offer) and Lawrence was a huge help. He was prompt to reply to my questions during the process, even after hours! Even after the loan was funded and I was having some trouble getting my online account setup, Lawrence was promptly willing to help resolve the issue and get me setup. Wonderful experience. Would recommend!

Best auto loan service I have ever had! Customer service always answered questions and made sure that any issues or problems I had were rectified immediately. Staff was always professional and polite. It was a pleasure doing business with DCCU and I will be returning to them in the future for any auto loan needs. I will be recommending them to others.

I have been with this credit union since I was a teenager! DCCU always takes care of me. I moved to California and still use this credit union as my primary account. Anytime I call, the representatives are so caring and do whatever they can to make my life easier. Shoutout to Melissa who worked magic on my account and helped me to get out of the red! Thanks for everything you all do. I would strongly recommend anyone in Denver use this credit union.

Worst lender I have ever used.. They made errors at every part of my loan process and charged me to fix them. They didn't mail me my bill, then charged me for making a phone payment. The following month I tried to pay off my loan with a wire transfer. They told me the wrong amount to send, then charged me $10 to pay off the remaining $12 to close out the loan. Refusing to take off the $10 fee claiming there was no record of me contacting them for the payoff amount. Has anyone ever sent a large enough sum of money to require a wire transfer without finding out how much to send. Incompetent at a level I have never seen before.

I’ve only had this account for just under two months and it’s a disappointment! I’m a fan of credit unions but this one is trash. I’ve had issues with the online banking, them putting a deposit in savings and not checking like I requested, always 30 minutes minimum on hold when I call and hung up on me. Without a call or email they stopped the use of my debit card. When I called they wouldn’t allow me to use the card until they received the documents that they all of a sudden need. I don’t carry much cash and finding out my card couldn’t be used when I was trying to buy lunch is BS. I don’t want or need my money in a place like this. Not sure how they’re still in business with practically no customer service skills. I can say a few more things but long story short BANK SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!

Customer service has gone completely downhill at this branch. I asked for a call back on Sunday evening, waited all Monday morning. The call came in at 11am, I answered and the call dropped from their side. They didn’t bother to call me back, was on hold another 25 minutes, the call dropped from their end again. I called back and didn’t get answered until 11:50! Deplorable customer service. Does no one work at this branch anymore? Genuine question.

The gentleman who helped me on the phone today was wonderful. After we rec'd an alert from the Denver Community Credit Union I called to ensure is was from one of my devices. He checked on out all devices to ensure there was no suspicious logins and verified by device was the one who made the attempt to log in DCCU. I have a couple of accounts with different Credit Unions and I always end up working with them for my Car loans and Mortgages. My questions are quickly answered and any issues resolved at first call. Today the gentleman was very professional and assisted me promptly. They always work with my fees and have a seamless process. (fees were not their mistake yet they helped me) Love this Credit Union and love how they help the Hispanic community as well.

Would not recommend this bank. There’s a charge for using your PIN number, $10 to pay your car payment over the phone, and a fee if you transfer form savings to checking which other banks have waived due to the pandemic.

I was thrust into this bank like the thing that holds your toilet paper for you (gently but you have to do all the work), due to a car I purchased. Figuring it would be similar to my other credit union I was initially happy about it. It'll be easy I said! Then they didn't bother sending me any account information until my first payment was already late. I called and managed to make a payment after some (some means too much) struggle with a fee attached. I went through a rather lengthy process of setting up my account online and downloading the app for ease of use... disappointingly, there's nothing easy about this bank or more importantly their app. I can't make a payment through the app so I went to the website. Know that I also went through another lengthy process of attaching my current and awesome credit union account to this new account. So I made my second payment from my bank to theirs. Which amounts to another fee. There's always going to be a fee. Rip off bank that I'll discourage people from and have them discourage. Similar to a pyramid scheme but backwards, the low tier wins! It's like an Itty bitty Wells Fargo. Beware people.
