Micah seemed to genuinely care about my success in purchasing a home. The market is currently pretty rough, and I made offers on multiple houses. He called listing agents to speak to my credit worthiness and to my agent to suggest options to put me in a better position to have my offer(s) accepted. He is knowledgeable and provides insight yet listens and is just nice. I will definitely work with him in the future and recommend to others.

Any type of mortgage financing process is extremely stressful, but keeping your clients informed and having a really easy process for uploading documents helps. I appreciated Delmar Mortgage staying on top of everything and notifying us via email, text or phone on urgent matters. Also their explanations of what was needed was clear and concise.

If you're looking for someone to guide you through the loan process Lisa was amazing! She helped us know all of our options, which was the best for us and took time to understand what we wanted. The communication from Dan and the team at Delmar Mortgage was always clear, consistent and timely. When there are so many moving pieces to financing and questions needing to be answered, we always felt like the answers were clear and easy to understand. Dan has made a tremendous effort to make things transparent and clear for us.

The communication from the beginning was lackluster. Jason was reluctant to say we could do a quick close, even though documentation proved otherwise. He also was not responsive with my realtor and seller until I told him to speak with them This almost lost me a bid on the house. Near the end of the process, after being approved the prior week, the appraisal came back with an error on the business day before closing. When prompting him for updates through the day, he did not respond and left for the day without giving me an update, despite knowing that I would have to fly out of state for the closing. I got no updates during the weekend. When talking to him that Monday, he felt there was nothing he did wrong and did not apologize to me nor my realtor. He disparaged my realtor's experience vs his own as a way to prove he was in the right, which was extremely unprofessional. The selling agent (who also has 20 years experience) confirmed that communication had been spotty and that the situation with the appraisal should not have happened. However, he turned his service around in the 11th hour, keeping us updated and thus, proving that there was something to improve. I would never work with Jason again or recommend Delmar to anyone in the future.

We used Delmar Mortgage to buy a home and our experience with Marie Cuddihee was exceptional. We reached out to a number of loan officers based on online reviews and then asked our realtor for recommendations. Marie was one of the recommendations from our agent, and she very quickly rose above the pack. Her team was engaged and made us feel like we were a priority. Their ability to close quickly (by doing the underwriting process early) made a difference in this highly competitive market. I would strongly recommend Marie Cuddihee for those looking for a mortgage in the St. Louis area.

Dan not only gave us great rates, but also was very quick on response times and communicated well. We were a little complicated being a military reserve family who was relocating using the VA loan and he was very helpful and knowledgeable about it. Would highly recommend Dan to anyone!

Delmar Mortgage was great. Thank you Jason Biggs for your great coordination and keeping us informed along the process. I was hesitant to work with an online mortgage company, but the rates were fantastic and it seems like we do everything online today so we gave them a try.  Once we committed, Delmar provides you with a private portal where everything that need to get done is presented in an organized, kind of a check list web page. You also sign all your documents on this portal needing no special equipment, very easy.  Our rates and loan cost was so cheap I was waiting for a last minute “extra-charge” that would show up, but there was none.  Days prior to closing they send you a Final Closing Cost document that you can review with all the costs and fees.  I was prepared but, there was no added costs or surprises; Actually cost were a bit less than the original (the original estimate was a bit higher than the actual cost).  Bottom line, you have nothing to lose letting Delmar send you a Rate and Estimate Closing Cost Documents for your review before you commit.  I think you will be surprise of the low cost and great rates.

Completed a refinance of home mortgage. Communication is key in these transactions, in my opinion. I was kept in the loop at all times. The process took longer than I thought it would but I got a great rate and good service. (And saved $$!!)

We were overall satisfied with Del Mar Financial and Jason Biggs. Communication was great with Jason but it did become a bit more difficult near the end to communicate with others on his team. However, the few times we needed someone to contact, Jason was quick to get involve and help. We also had an issue with our appraiser writing false information about our home, which devalued it. Jason got involved and help get the appropriate information on the record. I appreciated him taking the time to walk us through it and discuss our concerns, that made us feel valued. I would have liked to seen that fight go further and have our home reappraised but I am content with at least having corrected information. Overall I give Jason 5 stars but communication from him team could use work and so overall I give my experience a 4. I would still recommend them to friends and family.

Working with Amy was fantastic! She made everything so quick and easy. We never had to wonder what was happening or question anything because Amy was right on top of keeping us updated and explaining everything along the way. Robert was the calm in the storm with my families first house buying experience. His enthusiasm for us was genuine while signing the final documents. We went without a realtor because we were buying from close family friends which we did not know how difficult it was with all the paperwork and documentation. After some initial confusion, like not being told we were an FHA loan and proceeding as if it were a conventional, all our questions were promptly answered. Although our answers to our questions were quickly received, if it was not Robert answering them, it was Jordyn who was a little short and snippy with me, and even started deflecting towards the end as if she had enough. She was very nice to my girlfriend if she were the one asking questions though. I understand she is very busy but this wasn’t a used car, this was a home and a very large purchase for us. Going forward we would definitely recommend Delmar and specifically Robert H. Thank you all so much for helping my family and I begin our new journey in our new home.

Henry and his team were very professional, helpful and timely. Any time I needed something, they responded quickly, and always addressed my questions. Buying a home can be stressful, but Delmar takes the stress out of the financing element. My family has used Delmar for 4 transactions now, and would never use another mortgage broker.

It was smooth and fast. They also looked out for my interests in getting me the best rates and deals regarding saving me money over the term of the loan and costs of closing. Extremely good team work between agent, loan officer and title company, just what you want.

I would not recommend this Delmar Mortgage as they are unresponsive to their customers. I email, called and left several messages to contact regarding payoff documents to be sent to me so I could pay off the mortgage . Took me over a week before I could a hold of anyone. They agreed to send me the needed documents.. I waited approximately 3 weeks and nothing came in the mail. I called back and they had no record of my request. How convenient for them no? I made another request for the documents and waited another 5 day before they arrived. All the while Delmar is getting interest on my mortgage. They drag their feet on purpose to squeeze every last cent they can out of their customer going as far as to lie and tell you they have no records of you requesting the needed documents . This is of course on purpose costing me and their other customers money that goes right into Delmar's pockets. This company is full of cheats, and liars that only care about the bottom line and will go to any lengths to see that it happens. This company is not recommended.

While refinancing was great and I got a lower rate, I changed my home insurance and they recalculated my escrow. I paid the refunded prior unused insurance and they still recalculated it. Mortgage payment went up quite a bit due to this, and I've called in requesting a recalculation several times to find out it wasn't submitted the right way? I will say something simple like changing insurance has illuminated some big gaps in their business process that is not customer friendly. I've paid the delta. Please fix this delmar!

Rarely do I write recommendations, but Chad Johnson and the Delmar team deserve to be recognized. Refinancing a complex property somehow became the easiest financial transaction I have had in 20 years. This is a direct result of unmatched customer service. Thanks again Delmar team!

Predatory, insincere, scathing experience with Delmar Mortgage. If you value your time and money seek elsewhere. I received 4 closing disclosure statements with incorrect information, and then 4 days before closing I received a new closing disclosure statement that was $6500 higher. ALL of these documents said they were "final". Then my loan officer threatened ME with litigation when I pushed back on why this was happening. All employees were dismissive and said "that's just the way it is" or "there was an error with the software" and deflected any responsibility. Do not be surprised if hidden costs appear at the last moment, you will be saddled with them.

Great service, open lines of communication practically 24/7. Very open and honest and extremely knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone.

Amy with Delmar Mortgage made our refinance super easy. She had great communication and is very knowledgeable. We didn't have to bring any money to closing, were able to shave 7 years off of our home loan, and lower our payments at the same time.

I’ve waited awhile to provide feedback hoping that my inquiries with Delmar Mortgage would prove satisfactory, but unfortunately, no. While Amanda was personal and professional, it overall was not a good experience. The appraisal process proved to be stressful, with spotty communication. But the main thing that I want to communicate to anyone planning on using this company is beware of additional costs at closing. I didn’t get my numbers until only hours prior to closing and the numbers were in excess of $6,000 more of what I was previously quoted. I was charged over $3,500 to maintain my interest rate WITHOUT ANY communication that I would be charged that plus, I wasn’t given an opportunity to allow an increase in the rate. I will never use this company again and neither will my realtor. Plus I randomly found others who had a similar experience. I would highly recommend that you find another company to work with, unless you have plenty of money to give to them. Most disappointed 😔.

Mike was very helpful with managing our loan and was always available to communicate and always made sure that we understood everything in the process. As first time homebuyers with very little knowledge of the whole process, Mike made sure to walk us through everything and was always able to take a call on short notice to explain anything that we were confused about. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Will definitely be working with him again the next time we buy a home!
