Just went to Davids pawn shop for the first time he is such an amazing man and treats you with the up most respect. He also has amazing life stories I can talk to him all day Best place ever to go to.

David has been doing business with my family forever. He is very professional, and dont you ever lean on his glass counters! Seriously he is the best in the business.

My wife and I have know and done business with David since 1978 and he never let us loose any of our personal/special items. Later in years I bought my wife’s first real wedding ring from him. Then on our 25 th wedding anniversary I bought from Dave a “special designed ring” that he himself created. I also purchased my wedding ring from him and it has been a talking point because it’s tri gold. I have also with his guidance, purchased several pairs of diamond ear rings and all have made her smile. We have and always will trust and purchase our jewelry from a Dave. A man of integrity!

My experience at David's has always been wonderful. Very helpful and accommodating. As a senior citizen patience is the word. Very fair and kind.

Haven’t seen David in years and years. My most precious gifts and pieces all came from his downtown store. He is definitely a fair businessman. If he weren’t, he would have never be able to run his pawn shop all of these years......45 that I know of for sure. David is cool, he does not discriminate! That other review comment about ‘color’????? Well, I completely disagree and have the ‘color’ to prove it. I would say to just call prior to your arrival so he expects you. Go in with a smile because you are about to find a treasure or two!! Personally, I’m only writing this because I looked him up and and going to look for specific and special gifts in a couple of weeks. David! See you soon....... A few years ago I pawned some jewelry with David. I found him to be very friendly and professional, but most of all kind. Of course I was late in paying a few times. He was always patient and positive, making sure to call me and follow up to make arrangements on when I could make it. He made sure that I never lost my sentimental pieces. Thank you David :-) your excellence in dealing with me was and will always be much appreciated!

I just left this pawn shop and had a bad experience. The owner asked if I can hold my purse in front of me so I don't damage his paintings. I then proceeded to the counter with my item and I cough slightly. He asked if I had a cold which I answered I just got over one. He told me to step back from the counter and asked do I trust him. I answered I don't automatically trust someone if I don't know them. He then said take my item and leave. I feel that he felt very uncomfortable maybe cause I'm a person of color. I do not recommend this place to anyone, especially of color.

Anyone who can still get up and work at his age is fantastic! I've bought a pair of beautiful earrings, a really nice cross, a gem scope, and enjoy going to visit my favorite Jewelry and listen to his stories.

My husband and myself went there for the first time this morning we were looking for a diamond ring. we parked in the front and walked around to the back and rang the bell a little old man came to the door barely opened it and said can you come back in 20 minutes I have a customer...... I looked at him and said no. (we are customers too).......We walked away, you might wanna let people know that you’re not open from 9 to 5 that you are only open by appointment only ! Oy vey We waisted our morning to get there.!
