    I never write horrible reviews but this place, I don't recommend to anyone. We test drove trucks and not only were they not detailed and cleaned but not fixed as well. One truck had alignment issues really bad. Another trucks tire pressure was very low. According to the warning light that came on. Another truck, we opened the doors and we about passed out. The smoke smell was so bad. I cant believe they would show and try to sell these vehicles. Another truck was so damaged, it look like a tiger or animal tore up the entire inside. So finally I asked to drive a new car, 2022. They said all new vehicles were in the making. They had us test drive a 2020 car. I was so disgusted, this cars seats were stained, dirty and there was sticky stuff all over the park/drive handle. I asked about a new car, he said. We would have to sign paperwork and lay 1000.00 down and we are guaranteed that new car.. However, I don't get to drive it first? If I don't like it, am I out 1000.00?? The whole night was ridiculous. I've never ever been to a dealership like this. I recommend this dealership to no one. I'll never go back. It was not only a disappointment but disgusting experience I've ever had!

    Janette, Our dealership sells over 600 new and pre-owned vehicles each month, which leads to an average of about 15-20 fresh trade-ins each day. Every vehicle we take in on trade will go through our full reconditioning process, including service, detail department, and taking out smoke smell or other smells when necessary. Due to the sheer volume of our used car inventory, this process can take up to 3-4 weeks time. We feel customers would rather be able to see all of our vehicles that are for sale, rather than only those that have been through the entire process. There would be over 100 vehicles not advertised for sale if we did not include all the fresh trade-ins that aren’t through the complete reconditioning process. Maybe these vehicles aren’t for you, but many of our guests enjoy seeing them in the exact condition they were traded for. We feel it is best that every vehicle that is available for purchase, be made available to our customers. Our intention is not to sell them not fully reconditioned, however we feel it is important that each customer has the ability to see ALL of our vehicles that are available. As far as new cars are concerned, there is a huge shortage of new vehicles. Many dealerships, including ours, have zero new cars at the store to see. They are selling faster than they are arriving. As bad Dan Deery Toyota would love to be able to build vehicles, we can only offer what we get from the manufacturer. A deposit policy is pretty customary in the auto industry, as we feel you will find as you shop around.     We have had a wonderful experience in the past. This one not so much. It would've been nice if the salesman wouldn't have talked during the entirety of the test drive about himself... Get to know your customer. THEN after we have signed all the papers we realize we don't have an owners manual we called back and talk to the salesman who can't remember my husband's name ( we had just left the dealership) and was no help.My husband was referred to by that Randolph guy and was told we would have to just download the manual. I was also not asked if I wanted to be on the loan as well I had to tell him to add my name. Marshall at the financial office was awesome the experience with him was better than dealing with the salesman at the truck center.

    Fantastic sales service! Worked with Daniel, he was fast and went above and beyond for our purchase. It needed a headlight bulb, pretty simple but the shop was busy, he put it in himself, on his day off. The dealership itself was great to work with. They offered more for our trade then anywhere else we went. We will definitely shop here again.

    My husband and I had a very great experience. It was the second car lot we went to and felt instantly more comfortable when we came inside. Our car salesman Nathan was great. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I never felt pushed at all. Which is something that makes me weary to car shop. He went along with my timeline and respected my decisions. He constantly checked in on us during the lengthy process and updated us on what we were waiting on. I made a purchase from him and am incredibly happy with my choice of car. Also those peanut butter cookies are bomb. Shopping over the lunchtime period of the day made the nice selection of beverages and food was greatly appreciated.

    I was in the market for either a Land Rover Discovery sport or Volvo, I requested information from Dan Deery about the Land Rover they had on their lot, Emily reached out to me and she was very very helpful and walked me through the process because I was coming from St. Louis(5 hrs away). I made the drive picked up the Discovery Sport. Dylan took great care of me and had me in and out in a hour. The next day I had a engine light come on, I reached out to the dealership and to my surprise the owner called me to ensure that he would get it taken care of for me even though I am 5hrs away… I took it into my local Land Rover dealership they called and had everything taken care of as promised.. great customer service and excellent job with taking care of me from top to bottom. I would drive the 5hrs again to buy another car from them because of the service and selection they have on their lot!! Thank you for everything!!

    From the moment I went to their website to look for a new (to me) vehicle through getting to drive my purchase home, I had a great experience with everyone I encountered here! Jenny Barrett was prompt, courteous, and helpful. Preston Miller was patient, honest, and knowledgeable. He even came in on his day off(!) to be sure everything was squared away. Colton, in finance, was prepared and efficient. The shuttle driver was quick and relatable. And (BDC manager) Jeremy Wilson was effective.     I initiated my interest in a RAV4 Hybrid through Dan Deery Toyota’s live chat; Brooklyn responded immediately and put me together with sales manager Dustin; these vehicles are hard to find but Dustin and I finalized a deal on the phone in less than 15 minutes; Dustin gave me a timeline of 4-6 weeks for delivery - the vehicle arrived a little early; we picked it up today and love it!     If I could give zero stars, I wouldn't hesitate. NEVER, and I mean NEVER, have I had an experience like this with any Toyota dealer. I have dealt with Toyota dealers in Madison, Wi, Mankato, MN, Ames, Spirit Lake, Carroll, and Burnsville, MN. I was given a lowball offer on my trade in with the response of "that's the way the market is." I was offered $2000 more for my trade-in at other dealerships......sight unseen. Then, I was told they needed money to "hold" a vehicle. Fine, I let them charge my credit card for $1000. My understanding was this "hold" money was to hold the vehicle once it arrived so I would be the first person to be able to buy it, if I chose to. When I decided against dealing with this dealership, they said they wouldn't refund my $1000. Said it was "their policy" not to refund the money. What policy might that be? I was not made aware of this so called policy, nor did I see this in black and white. I did not sign anything saying I was buying a car. Two weeks later and numerous calls to the dealership and Toyota relations, I did get my money back; not without many arguments with staff at Dan Deery and WAY too many phone calls to keep track of. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Hard to believe that Toyota allows a dealership such as this to represent their product.

    MyMarlin2010, It is because of “customers” exactly like you, that our deposit policy is in place. Backing out on a purchase where in the meantime we’ve had to tell other potential buyers that they cannot purchase the same vehicle as it’s already spoke for. Imagine being the customer on the other end — being told you don’t get the opportunity to purchase a vehicle you wanted, because it was already reserved by someone else so instead you pick out a second or third option, only to find out later the buyer backed out. Our deposit policy is posted in the disclaimer, in black and white, on the bottom of every page on our website. Our dealership has been in business for three generations. Our philosophy is simple, don’t place a reservation on a vehicle you have no intentions of purchasing.

    Worked with salesman and sales manager (Brandon Simkins) to agree on a purchase price for a new RAV4. They took a $1000 deposit to secure the sale. Later in the evening I get a call from my salesmen who tells me the General Sales Manager (Shane McCollow) said he won’t sell the car because I don’t have a trade-in, as they are so short on cars. I talked to the Sales Manager and he said that he can’t sell the car for full MSRP like we agreed…it has to be a minimum of $1000 over MSRP without a trade in. They then refunded my down payment. Unbelievable. Shady business practice, lack of values and integrity. Will seek assistance from the Consumer Protection Agency, as I have documents and a receipt. All so they could make $1000 more. Plus, I am a previous customer.

    Karl, Thank you for the review. These are unprecedented times in the auto industry, as I’m sure you are aware. Shane quoted you a price with a trade in. Your deposit was taken the following day by a different manager, when Shane was off, with no trade in. We promptly refunded you your deposit. There is a huge shortage of used and new vehicles across the country, which is why almost every dealer has no stock to offer to customers. We think you’ll find it more common than not that most dealers are charging thousands above MSRP, but also not even allowing out of town customers to purchase a new vehicle off their lot.     You had better be 100% positive when putting a deposit down on a vehicle sight unseen. They will not willingly give the money back and you’ll have to file a case with Iowa Attorney General.

    Roofsmart, You are correct, in that we want our customers to be 100% sure with their decision when they place a deposit to reserve a vehicle. We disclose that all deposits taken are 100% non-refundable. It is a waste of our staff’s time to take deposits for customers who are not prepared to go forward with the purchase. It also is unfair to our other customers who may wish to purchase the vehicle that was being held for you, forcing them to go with their second or third option, only to find out later that they actually could have purchased the vehicle we told them was already reserved by someone else and unavailable. It’s an unpleasant experience for all involved.

I had found a vehicle I had really liked, but after a test drive, an issue had been discovered that had kind of hindered me from initially chosing this vehicle. Upon hearing about the issue and that it was really the only thing keeping me from getting the car, Jake went the extra mile and pushed for the shop guys to look at and fix the problem. They got the repairs done and the car ran beautifully after that, so I felt more comfortable in my choice of getting the car. Jake was very cooperative and helpful throughout the whole process as well as offering advice when it came to working out the loans for it. Definitely very appreciative of all he did to help me get my car.

    Worst experience I’ve had with a dealership! I purchased a used Infiniti from this dealership in late July coming all the way from the twin cities and had the vehicle for about month and I stared to smell a burning smell coming from the vehicle and right after that the check engine light and other diagnosis lights came on so I called the dealership to let them know I couldn’t reach a sales manager so they had metalk to a finance manager Marshall about it and he told me to take it to a Infiniti dealership which we did, come to find out there was over $5000 worth of repairs on the vehicle! We were absolutely mortified that all of these repairs that can not just occur over a month so we double checked the vehicle inspection on the documents we had from our deal and there was no mention of the items that the Infiniti dealership found. So we called the dealership back about these items and they told me it was due to the vehicle being older and they couldn’t have caught it when they inspected the vehicle but a differential case replacement, tire rods, and wheel bearings are definitely thing you can spot well over a month. So he told us to go through the extended warranty we purchased but they gave us three wrong claim phone numbers to our extended warranty so when we finally got ahold of the company they told us they would only cover part of the differential case and the rest was going to be out of pocket I was completely dumbfounded… After going back and forth I just decided do the work on vehicle but come to find out the parts for my vehicle has been on back order and no eta so my vehicle has been sitting at the Infiniti dealership since the beginning of September and I have yet to drive it since then I’m very disappointed and horrified I was not made aware of these repairs when purchasing this vehicle as I could avoided this dealership nightmare.

Unfortunately, cars are machines and they do have malfunctions, especially on 12 year old vehicles with over 100k miles like yours had when you purchased it. There are multiple options for warranties, all with different amounts of coverage. The warranty you selected has a clear description of which items are going to be covered and which items would not be. An inspection of a vehicle several months ago does not mean that the vehicle will not have issues after purchase. As far as timing of repairs and access to parts, there is a global part shortage right now and completely out of control of the dealership where you are having the repairs done. We understand it can be inconvenient to be without a vehicle for extended periods of time, and would be happy to help trade you out of it so you can move on with a different vehicle. We put our deposit down for our 2021 Tundra before it was even made and Danette kept in touch with us letting us know when it was made, when it shipped, and when we could expect it to be in Cedar Falls.     Upon arrival, the car was waiting for my test drive, the day was sunny and they were hopping! I bought my 2019 Nissan Rogue SV from Dan Deery Toyota a week ago. One of my best friends got hers there, and it was worth the travel for me to get one there also. David Maxwell, Jake Van Den Broeke, and DJ Deery were all beyond response during and post sell. Within a week of getting my Rogue, I had an issue with a cracked wheel/rim. I was shocked, but had it replaced at home, and DJ said he would cover the cost of it. I really cannot express how appreciative I am for the level of customer service I have experienced. From the first email communications with David when I spotted the Rogue online, to when I met Carl for the test drive. It was a different experience than my last buying one. This is the first time I’ve bought new used, my last two cars were brand new, the last being a Nissan. I hope to return to Deery, and send friends there.     I tried to order floor mats on for Black Friday deals and I never got a confirmation email so I emailed the parts department. They said that my address was wrong/not valid so the system automatically cancels the order. I told them I was upset cause now they Black Friday deal was gone. They told me that on December 6th they would be having an additional one day only sale that was similar so I could order them again which I appreciated. That day came and my boyfriend ordered them on our desktop computer in case it was something with doing it on the phones but our address did not pop up so we typed it in manually and got a confirmation email this time but then a day later another email that said our order was cancelled again because our address could not be verified. I emailed the parts department again and I have still not heard anything back. Very unhappy with how it has been handled.

    Had a great experience coming in to look at a vehicle we had found online. Great service although a hiccup at first with communication. The manager got Don Share to take care of us.     First we bought a used Truck from Daniel in the used truck area and it was ok but there was some weirdness with some other members of the staff , like they were saying like yeah - get em. I felt like I was getting ripped off, didn’t put full tank in truck and never sent a card or thank you. Nothing. Felt cheap after I left. Then we went looking for a used care from Brynnen and he was awesome! Like no pressure, very appreciative. The car service area is t doing their due diligence in making sure cars on the lot are driveable. One cars convertible top was leaking so much the car was all wet inside. The next cars blinker/light control was busted and then another car we drove started smoking, (which was scarey). We ended up buying from Bill Colwell Ford, full tank of gas, car was driveable, and car was super clean. We used Tate who was great. If you are looking for a car go to Brynnen at Dan Deery. Or Tate at Bill Colwell. I gave Dan Deery a 3 only because of Brynnen. Otherwise a 1.

    ***BAIT AND SWITCH*** ***BUYER BEWARE*** No One likes negative feedback, but this has been taken down once already. This story holds truth. I am not bashing this dealership, but instead sharing my own experience. My name is Michael and I live in a northwest suburb of Chicago. I found this dealership’s Audi A3 Convertible online. The listing stated that the car was well equipped with the specific items my wife was interested in having on her vehicle. I verified through both Elizabeth, their internet specialist, and the salesman that I was ultimately handed off to, Mark Alberts that these things exist. They were great on communications and sending off the extra pictures I requested. This seemed like the perfect vehicle based on the above assumptions. I made a $500 deposit and arranged for a day that we could make the trip. When I arrived, after driving 4 hours to this dealership with my wife, the car was found to be clean with the exception of the engine bay (not really that big of a deal). Upon test driving the car my wife and I found that it operated to our own expectations. The shifting was smooth, the steering was tight, and it was, overall, a nice car. When we ran an equipment check, however, we discovered that it was missing the below key items that were both described in the CarGurus.com listing as well as the dealership’s own site; *Navigation *Cold Weather Package *Heated Mirrors *Heated windshield washer nozzles *Power seats *Bose Audio System *Front parking sensors *Rear parking sensors Upon returning to the dealership, Mark deflected blame on Elizabeth without an apology. He disappeared where we expected him to return with a sales manager that would, in turn, likely make a lesser offer on the vehicle, apologize, express some type of explanation, or compensate us for making the trip under a false pretense. He, instead, came back with my reimbursement of the $500 hold on the car and thanked me for making the trip after speaking with a manager and obtaining authorization for the refund. Do with this information as you may. I am thoroughly disappointed with the lack of quality and professionalism. Knowing that I was willing to make the 230-mile trip should have meant clear and complete transparency. This was not the case. There are numerous text messages and emails back and forth between you and our dealership and none were topics of how the vehicle was equipped. All the communication was about pricing and physical condition of the vehicle. We answered all of your questions accurately and provided you all the extra photos and video footage that was requested. As data error can exist, especially with an inventory of over 900 vehicles, we have a disclaimer at the bottom of every one of our webpages that clearly explains this. As for the Cargurus listing, our dealership has zero control over what they publish as they are a 3rd party. So our future customers can better understand your review, a "bait and switch" would be to intentionally withhold information about a vehicle from you, in order to get you here to switch you to another vehicle. We promptly returned your $500 deposit upon request when the vehicle didn't have equipment you were hoping for, and did not try to push you onto a different vehicle on our lot.     (Left on behalf of my grandmother, Sandy Clements, as she was having difficulty accessing the review site.) Brynnen Reinard impressed me from the moment he said "hello". After asking the usual questions about what I was looking to do, I told him that I was in unfamiliar territory since my husband had passed away last December and I had never traded vehicles on my own before. His next words convinced me that I was in the right place to begin this journey. He said, "I am so sorry. You have my condolences". But they weren't just words rolling off his tongue, his honest sincerity was deeply felt! In reality, that second sentence above might have been said a little differently, but he recognized that this was not an easy thing for me to do and he was compassionate! We went inside to talk and the rest is history... I was impressed with everyone I came in contact with at the dealership! I would be willing to bet that the team concept is stressed at your business. I have returned twice since that night and even walking through the lobby, I was greeted with a "hello" and asked how they could help me! I also want to relay a "thank you" to Marshall for taking a process that could easily be described as routine or boring, with certain questions that need more than a few seconds to decide what's best for you, and making it relaxing and personable! Bottom line, Brynnen is very knowledgeable, friendly and knows how to follow through on things! But what I will always love him for is a kindness that can't be taught...you either have it or you don't. You see, I was trading in two vehicles, mine and my husband's. When it was time to transfer the plates to my new RAV4, he asked which set I wanted to keep. Since my plates were fairly new we went with those. When he came back in, he told me that he decided to transfer my husband's special plate holder over along with my plates. It was his Navy one that said "U.S. Navy, Chief Petty Officer".     Danette was awesome! She worked hard to get us what we wanted despite several obstacles. Unfortunately, we feel like the dealership itself didn't prioritize her requests/needs to get us processed. Once we had an agreement it took way too long (2 hours) to process. We came in with a trade, large cash down-payment and our own financing. Even after we told them our bank had a time they needed to have the information by a certain time to make the transfer, they took an additional hour after that time to get us on the road.

Those two experiences were exceptional and I have been praising this dealership to anyone looking for a vehicle. Unfortunately my recent experience as I initiate the process of purchasing a new Toyota is not aligned with my past experiences. The lack of interest in who I was communicating with is enough to make it clear that I would be doing business with a different Toyota dealer this time around.     Daniel was an amazing salesman. Not pushy, asked what we needed, located, and let us take our time. However, the truck that we purchase was supposed to have been certified. Meaning it went through a Thorough inspection. What we found was when we went to pull our trailer which was the full purpose of us purchasing the vehicle the wires underneath had been cut and taped. How this passed inspection was beyond me. Not to mention the first day that we bought it we drove from Cedar Falls to Marion and on our way back from Marion when we stopped at the stoplight the truck had absolutely no power to go forward. It’s hard all the way back to Danberry and when I called Dan he said that he would check it out. They took it around and they could not make it redo what had caused that and said if it did it again that we were to bring it back. Needless to say I ended up returning the truck and purchasing another vehicle from them in hopes that this vehicle going forward will not have any other problems. They did work with me in getting another vehicle and making it right between the two that I had purchased. So the staffing is amazing and they do work with you, however, I would make sure that you do a thorough thorough inspection even if it’s certified and make sure that you speak to them in regards to what happens if some thing occurs with the vehicle after you leave the parking lot. Unfortunately you just have to be cautious with used vehicles .

    My family is from Des Moines area. 5 family members have bought 6 new Toyota's in last 2 years, and 2 trades. DJ and his team are so easy to work with, very detailed communication.     I felt they were very pushy and didn't really listen to me. Also kind of rushed. They had me sign and didn't ask what plates I wanted so he had to charge separately for the black plates. When I went to pick up my plates they were the regular ones and I was told I had to pay extra for those I had to explain that I did. They searched and found payment where it wasn't not suppose to be. The lady handled it and got my right plates the next day, but I was wasting gas driving back and forth. Also we asked about problems with car and we're told it had a complete check up. The second time driving it my key gets stuck in ignition and we had to fix. Told them when I went in for plates and they didn't seem to care. And my fog lamp bulb was hanging which when we turned on causes smoke to pour out and melted some of the plastic. Also happened second time out with car. Good thing car didn't catch on fire!

    Salesman Drake Logan was great. Super happy with him. He was courteous, personable and not "salesman" like by any means which was fantastic. The only complaint I have is the vehicle I purchased is equipped with remote start and was listed as having it. That was one thing I didn't check at the dealership before purchasing and of course when we get home that doesn't work with either key faab. I do wish we'd have known that before purchasing or even that it wasn't listed as a feature if it didn't work. I doubt that would have changed my mind about buying the vehicle but I'm definitely a little bummed it doesn't work especially when it was listed online as a selling point and we made a 2 hour drive to make the buy. Other than that, pretty darn happy

    In this year's difficult car buying market, I was happy to find an available new Sienna anywhere in the country. I had to travel 4 hours to get the van, but Dan Deery sold me the van at MSRP, without any markup or add-ons, so it was well worth the drive! The sales process was low pressure and our price was agreed upon, including the value for my trade in, before I left my house to make the 4 hour drive. I was pleased that even though the sale was complete before I arrived at the dealer, that my car salesman (Andy) still took as much time with me as I wanted and showed that he cared about me having a good experience. The only reason that i cant give a 5 star review is that they slightly undervalued my trade in and didn't allow me to buy the van at MSRP if I didn't trade in a vehicle. I had an offer from Carvana for $1k more than what Dan Deery offered, yet they will unwilling to match it. Still, even with $1k less for the trade in, I still feel like the overall cost of the van was a good value in today's market.

    Sold me a used car that turned out to be leaking oil from the oil pump. The vehicle is under a three month warranty but it's not covered because it's the seal for the oil pump and not the oil pump itself. When I asked about a sound the vehicle was making during a test drive (which was just a heat shield rattling) he said he didn't hear anything which was clearly a lie. Would not recommend buying a used vehicle here, they will just sell you a vehicle with problems that aren't covered under their power train warranty. Edit in regards to the owners response: I understand the vehicle has 142500 miles, I didn't expect a brand new car. It had paint scratches and wear/tear which I was fine with, however when you tell a customer that a vehicle has been inspected by your mechanics and everything is good then sell the vehicle that actually has an oil leak, not to mention a power steering leak that I fixed myself, it really shows you guys don't care. A Honda engine will last forever, this vehicle has another 150000 miles left. This vehicle wasn't sold "as is", it was sold Deery Certified with a 3 month power train warranty. Stay away from here.

Vehicles that are 15 years old with over 140k miles have a higher risk of issues, which needs to be considered when purchasing vehicles of that age. Our Deery Certification is a complimentary powertrain warranty, and adds great value to vehicles that qualify for this extended coverage. While this free warranty is excellent in covering major powertrain components like engine or transmission failures, it does not cover the items you are experiencing issues with. As stated at the time of purchase, uncovered mechanical issues fall under the responsibility of the buyer.     i drove over an hour to buy a car(2011 ford Taurus) only to show up to a car full of fender scrapes, missing trim, and when started ,sounded like a lawn mower. thanks to an exhaust leak in the converter. salesman also mentioned a possible salvage title. ARE YOU KIDDING ME> I had him shut the car off,and we left. nice waste of 2 hours. none of this info was in the cars.com listing! Waited over a half hour for something that only takes 5 minutes for a drill and tap, walked out to my car done sitting outside and nobody let me know, told the guy thanks for giving us a heads up and he said “I had nothing to do with it” you work here? Also ripped up my registration, thanks guys! Never buying a car here again.

    I just got a 2013 Ford Tauras from Dan Deerys about 3 weeks ago it ran good started up just fine then one morning it didn't start I had it towed there and they tell me they can't figuare out what's wrong with it im still in there 3 months or 3000 miles warranty but seems like it doesn't cover much im now stuck having it towed to a Ford dealership I get used cars can have issues at any moment but it hasn't even been a month I haven't even made my first car payment yet just put my plates on it the other day and already have to pay towing and repairs you'd at least think they'd want stand by there name and make sure there selling good reliable cars not ones that break down less then a month I get the can't pay for repairs or know when stuff goes wrong but they could be better about solving what's wrong with the cars when they have issues im kind of disappointed my first dealership I go to and they let me down

While this coverage is free, it only covers the main components: engine, drivetrain, powertrain, transmission, etc. A list of specific components that are covered, were given to you along with the copy of this free warranty last month. The issue you are having with your vehicle is not one of the listed covered components. We offered to you extended warranty options last month during your purchase that would have covered your issue, but you declined this option -- instead choosing to bear the risk of those uncovered repairs which you are now experiencing. Vehicles with nearly 150k miles are more prone to mechanical failures. If you would like to revisit the extended warranty options that you declined, please contact Steven in our finance department at 319-277-4500.

    Kind of got hosed, the salesman said if the tires weren't 50% or better they would be replaced, he also stated the vehicle would be detailed before pickup, neither of those were true. The tires were maybe 30% if that, we found an old dried out apple core in the back door compartment, the floors and everything but the front floor was filthy. Contacted them and all they could offer was a detail, we had already done our own instead of driving back up there to most likely be disappointed again!

    Great First Impressions but Lacking in the Details I shopped the internet for 4Runners for a few weeks, gradually widening my search to find the ideal vehicle. I came across this one on Auto Trader. My first contact was with Danette, who replied in a helpful, timely manner. Since I was considering purchasing from a distance, I gave her a long list of items to please inspect for me. She came through on these and I believe she gave me her honest opinion. Danette talked with her supervisor, who agreed they could pick me up from the airport if I decided to purchase this vehicle. Once my inquiry became serious, David took over communications. He was knowledgeable and responded to communications in a timely manner. I appreciate the friendly service. The vehicle interior upon first inspection looked great. Upholstery and carpets were very clean. Fluids were full, cabin & engine air filters were new, oil was clean. Brakes functioned without issues and the handling was nice. Tires felt balanced and the alignment felt good. The dealer had replaced some rear lights and all lights, interior and exterior functioned appropriately. David filled the tires prior to my departure because the TPMS light came on during my test drive. Dan Deery Automotive failed in the details. The glove boxes, cupholders in the doors, vinyl and plastics to the sides of the front bucket seats were dusted with light brown dirt. Mirrors and other black plastics were faded and/or spotted. Duct tape remnants were stuck to the bottom of the front passenger door. These remnants were about 18 inches long and 4 inches wide, not easy to miss. An old Toyota warranty sticker (no longer valid) was on the driver’s side window. All four tires were missing valve stem covers. There was an obvious rattling noise coming from the catalytic converter clamshell (which I immediately noticed during the test drive) . Once I got it home, I located a 1.5 in by 1 in chunk inside of the clamshell which I removed in 30 minutes. I needed to replace the battery 10 days after purchase because it would not start nor hold a charge. All these details could have been easily resolved by Dan Deery Automotive. For one reason or another, the vehicle title was not changed into an Iowa title after they purchased the vehicle. This seemed to be some unexpected news to the folks in the back office once payment had been made. We worked out a solution for the title issue and they followed through as they agreed. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. I think they listed a fair price and were honest with me, but they could have gone the distance with the details to knock this out of the park for an extra 2 stars.

    I had never bought a car from a dealership before. I obviously had a young salesmen and I wasn’t impressed. I wanted to know how to use things on my car and was never showed anything at all. Also they ended up mailing me an extra set of keys a week after. No note apologizing for not giving it to me previously or anything.     My wife and I came in on 12/11 to purchase a car after my wife was rear ended by a semi a few weeks prior. We'd come in with a few vehicles in mind to look at. Carlos Woods was great to work with and was very knowledgeable of all the vehicles we test drove. We settled on a 2017 Nissan Altima.     So I bought a truck from this guy at dan deery, I'm a new person at the dealer ship scene to keep in mind.. the dude that sold me the truck, told me nothing was wrong with it at the time... but close inspection of the vehicle after bringing it home, and taking it apart seeing that both sides had one broken spring, alignment was off, and still sold it to me for 15k, would never go back here to purchase a vehicle again

    I bought a car and after one day every light came on in the dash and I talked to them and they didn’t wanted to fix it and I only had it for one day and the emergency break stop working right away too, not a good place to buy a car

    Sergio, We offered to you to schedule an appointment with us so we could take a look at the issue for you. You pulled in Saturday afternoon and had expected us to look at it that minute, which we couldn't as we were getting ready to close up shop for the weekend and had no appointments available. When you purchased the vehicle from us, you also declined the warranties that were offered to you here that would have covered your issues, and your reason was because you were purchasing a warranty from your own bank. Hopefully the warranty you purchased from them will cover your issues. If not, the vehicle you purchased was Deery Certified and comes with 3 months or 3,000 miles of free powertrain coverage. If it is a covered item, it is covered at a $0 expense to you. Let us know if you need the number to the warranty claims department.

    Our experience with Dan Deery was easy, smooth, and I would recommend them to anyone! I found my perfect car on their website but we live 2.5 hours away so we didn’t want to drive there without having all paperwork and checks already done in case we loved it and wanted to drive away with it. They price their vehicles very competitively so we got a steal of a deal! We worked with Jenny through the online sales departments at first and she was wonderful. Helped us get all paperwork filled out, get approved ahead of time through a bank, get an estimate on my trade, sent more pictures and all service receipts of the vehicle. She helped set our appointment for the next morning and we were set. We met with Whitney when we got there and she took us right to the car and we got to do a quick test drive. We fell in love with it! Finished paperwork with her and met with Kase to do financing. He was such a down to earth guy and very personable! He helped us get some extras but still kept the payment within our price range. When we were done there Whitney had already switched the license plates over so all we had to do was switch our personal items over and drive home! All the people we encountered were friendly, personable, and helpful, even when they were super busy, they didn’t make us feel rushed or anything! We’ll definitely be back when we need another vehicle!

    Dont buy used wheel bearings went out in a month and getting it to even get looked at is becoming a nightmare and good luck getting a rental or loaner if you need it serviced

    Absolutely 100% DISGUSTED with this place. 2017 Ford Edge. Got it home, 2 days later started throwing codes. Come to find out, this particular engine drips coolant into the #3 cylinder. Guess what!!?? That means we need a NEW ENGINE! ARE YOU FLIPPING KIDDING ME? Now we are stuck with a $13,000.00 loan on a car that is junk! Oh, but hey the sales people are nice. I wouldn't recommend this place to buy a banana let alone a car. My husband, Travis Wilson bought the car. It was most definitely this location. Shane was who we had for a sales person.

    Dawn, We are sorry to hear about the issues you have been having with your Ford Edge. The Edge you purchased had 165,000 miles on it which means the vehicle had no remaining factory warranty. We offered to Travis a variety of optional coverages that he chose to decline at the time of sale. These coverages would have covered your entire expense, but he had made the decision that he wanted to bear the risk of future repairs himself rather than the warranty options. Even though the purchase was from three months ago, we would still be willing to see if we can help with some of the repair cost. If you would like copies of the warranty options we offered to Travis that he declined, we can also send those over to you.

    Jake was amazing! I found my Toyota Tacoma on car gurus. Called them, made an appointment. Went up that day, test drove and loved the truck. Jake was honest and straight forward. He made the process very painless! I hate truck shopping. The truck was waiting for me already warmed up and ready to go for a drive. The finance team was great and found me a bank that would get me the best deal for my loan. I would highly recommend them! I drove an hour and a half to come up and do not regret it! I will be back and will definitely request Jake!

    After traveling 4 hours to test a specific vehicle I wanted, I was pleasantly greeted by Whitney the moment I walked in the front doors. The dealership was informed beforehand of my approximate arrival, and Whitney had the vehicle prepared for me to test. All my questions about the used Chevy Cruze were answered with ease. Her professionalism, knowledge, and initiative in assisting me regarding the car buying experience went exceptionally well. When I took the vehicle for a drive, Whitney explained a lot of the vehicle's features and I kept liking the car itself all the better. It only took a few moments of driving and I knew the car was meant for me to take home. Several weeks have passed since, and the car is running great.
