Delicious! I always get the banana pudding and my husband is a plain chocolate guy. They have a chocolate banana pudding now too! Always great service and they allow up to 3 flavors to taste before purchasing. Plenty of seating outside.

This gelato place is great! While all the flavors we've tried have been tasty, we especially love the hazelnut and cookies and cream. Would highly recommend!

The gelato was very good, but the boozy shake missed the mark. The shake wasn't thick at all. I still definitely plan to go back and give them another shot! Updated - I didn't try the shake, but the gelato is very creamy and delicious.

This place was awesome! The Gelato was delicious! It was so good, I didn't even get to take a pic as I was too busy shoveling it into my mouth like the lady I am😁. The staff was super friendly and answered questions and offered suggestions. I definitely want to come back for a boozy shake. They have a full bar there and will incorporate the Gelato into drinks. The outside eating area was very clean and pretty.

Visiting Decatur from out of town and took a walk from downtown Decatur to visit and it was delicious! Between two of us we had 3 different flavors and we loved them all. A cute gelato store with amazing customer service!

I had the BEST experience at Cremalosa! I am a regular customer at Hodgepodge, the coffee shop next door, but I usually go there in the morning before Cremalosa is open. Well, I went last Friday in the middle of the afternoon and saw that Cremalosa was open, so I decided to go in and try it out... and I am SO GLAD that I did!! The gelato/sorbet/sorbetto is incredibly delicious, the owner and staff were so friendly and kind (and let me taste as many flavors as I wanted), and the shop itself is exceptionally clean, super cute, and really warm and inviting. Oh, and it's woman-owned, which is awesome! I bought 2 pints to take home, the Pistachio gelato and the Pink Lemonade sorbetto -- the Pistachio is rich and soooo smooth and creamy and the Pink Lemonade is tart, sweet, and super refreshing... if Summer had an official flavor, it would be this! I recommend both, especially the Pink Lemonade! I will absolutely be back for more once I finish them, and I can't wait to try more flavors!

NICE LITTLE GELATO PLACE IN DECATUR! ive been eying this place for a while now since everyone has been raving about it. i got there and was kind of confused about where it was, but sure enough, i found it. there's plenty of parking so no need to worry. there are a variety of classic gelato flavors to choose from. you can get two flavors in one cone which is good if you want to try multiple flavors. i tried a lot of different flavors like cappuccino, cookies and cream, devils food, banana pudding, passion fruit, and almond joy. all of the flavors were creamy, smooth, and nice. i think my favorite was the banana pudding and cookies and cream. i got those two together and they were a lovely pair. overall, i think it was a cute little gelateria! with the number of people mentioning it, i thought it was going to be out of this world. don't get me wrong, it's still tasty gelato but for me personally, i don't think it's worth all of the hype. i'd still love to go back again and try more flavors, especially their seasonal ones!

A few days ago I came across an article in Food & Wine magazine titled, “The Best Ice Cream In Every State”. After just over an hour drive to judge for myself, I’ll simply say it was worth every mile travelled! My wife said it best when asked to describe her Banana Pudding & Devil Food Cake Gelato…”Perfect!” Meredith’s pleasant personality was an added bonus!

I was born and spent most of my life in Northern Italy where I have grown up with artisan gelato available 5 min away. Well, now after 14 years in the US I am spectacularly happy to have Cremalosa 5 min away from my house, again. Meredith knows one thing or two about real gelato. Low sugar, low fat, fresh in season fruits locally sourced...they way gelato is intended to be. You can skip a lunch or dinner and have a nutritious meal by eating real gelato. This is a dream.

Absolutely delicious and cute! It is the perfect spot for a date night spot or family gelato outing. I appreciate their efforts toward being environmentally friendly, too! They have paper straws and invite you to bring your own spoon next time to reduce single use plastic.

Clean quaint icecream shop with about 8-10 seasonal flavors. Brownies were thick and not the best we have had. Almond joy is very tasty and wasn't over powered nut or coconut flavor. The owner has incredible customer service. Overall pretty cool place to try if you're in the area.
