Credit Union West W Van Buren St, Avondale

Not only mine, but other family members with accounts at this CUWest have all had our accounts overdrawn without permission and didnt inform us until a month later, then they told us since I didnt respond to their message in 30 days, I had to pay them the fees. I wasn't informed about my account being overdrawn until Feb and they said I've had the problem since January...definitely closing my account.

Cherrie is amazing and so friendly! She got us refinanced with ease and I will always come to her for banking needs.

My mom had an issue with a money order and instead of working with her to come up with a resolution, they were incredibly rude to her and said “we’re a credit union and we can do whatever we want” I’ll be filing a complaint against this particular branch and you better believe word of mouth will get everyone who works there fired and this branch shut down. This is the second time they have been rude to my family. They’re clearly discriminated against her.

USED TO BE AMAZING! Not anymore. Don't fall for the "you're a member" bull. There's nothing special here. They're not there for your best interests like they claim, they're in it for Themselves. They're just like any other bank. Looking to use any sort of legal way to scam you out of your money. I received consistent overdraft fees for supposedly pending transactions. They'll manipulate in order to achieve their selfish greedy goals and obtain your hard earned money. Overdraft fees cost them practically nothing to process...they charge 35 bucks... banks have taken 30BILLION. in the lay couple years in overdraft fees ALONE. DON'T LET THESE PEOPLE RIP YOU OFF! I'm closing my account. I suggest you do the same and if your not a "member" Yet you can might as well just leave while you've got a chance.

Very bad customer service. Probably the worst ever. Every time I call to get a daily spending limit increase I can’t get ahold of a branch worker. I get transferred to a third party answering service, and they cannot help me with my transaction due to them not being actual bank employees. Thus I cannot purchase what I needed. BIG INCONVENIENCE. And it is a business account I have with them. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THEM. I AM CHANGING BANKS. do not bank here if you don’t have to. They are VERY inconsiderate to their account holders. BELIEVE ME I WOULD LIKE TO USE A LOT OF PROFANITY IN MY POST HERE, BUT I JUST WONT. I wish I could rate them 0 stars but it won’t let me. So they get one star.

Went down to this branch to get a new debit card printed. They said they couldn’t get me a new debit card due to a ‘chip shortage’. I said I’m not looking for a snack I’m looking for a card to pay my bills. Would not recommend.

Completely unprofessional. I put in for a loan application and had to call several times to even find out the status with no returned call. I finally got a hold of the party in charge of my loan Veronica Flores only to find out she submitted my loan wrong and the underwriter wanted to change my rate. I was looking to purchase a UTV and was told by Veronica Flores the dealer could submit the deal electronically, well come to find out to get the lower beat rate I could not go directly to the dealer. Veronica did want to accept her error and had the nerve to raise her voice at me and speak over me. Now I see why their rating is so terrible. No one their knows how to do their job and are completely unprofessional. I have great credit and will have no issues getting my loan elsewhere.

I have had nothing but problems since we have joined here when we bought our ATVs. My husband was the only one on the account but I do all the bills. He has sent 3 letters, which is what was requested, in order to speak with me instead of him. They still after 2 years still don’t have them. Called to pay off loan and amount was different on the phone than in the branch on the same day. My husband took the morning off to pay off the loan. After paid off he waited on a rep in order to get the title quickly. 2 phone reps said we would pick title up in branch after 24 hours. Branch says that costs $20 and must go to dmv. Bottom line. Glad our business with them is over, communication and knowledge is horrible and stay away from this credit union!!

As a veteran, these people in this branch are disrespectful to my military family. They don’t care and are clearly incompetent. I’ve never seen a more rude credit union in my life. They were also rude to my mother. I’m taking my business elsewhere and I hope this place gets investigated for unethical behavior.

Opened up an account 2 weeks ago, and been nothing but problems with them. Deposited my paycheck this morning and they put a hold on it for 13 days...closing the account today and getting my paycheck back, nobody has the right to play GOD with my paycheck, except for me
