Credit Union ONE Rochester Rd, Troy

Been coming here for the past 3 years since my auto loan was through a credit union. Loved the fact that these guys cooperated with me using their branch to make payments on my loan. Went in on Monday to cash a check, last payment for my truck. The entire account here was just for those payments nothing else. Not only was the lady behind the counter rude about finding my account, but then she proceeded to comment on my balance openly like discussing my finances was okay with several people around. Absoultey rude and unprofessional. I don’t reccomend banking here unless you don’t care how you’re treated.

Terrible credit union. This credit union has the shortest banking hours i have ever seen. Thwy have no customer service line you can reach during the weekend. I have tried to email them several times and i never get an anwser. They claim to have over draft protection yet your account can somehow get over drawn. You are allowed one overdraft refund but get ready for constat complaining by them, also they will make sure to let you know its 100% your fault that it was overdrawn. Not a single one of their atms will offer cash deposit. So basically go else where, i personally cant wait to leave this credit union

I ended up closing my account because of an experience at this particular branch. I had been told that once I got married, all I had to do was bring in my checks, current license, and marriage certificate. When I did that, I was told there was no way to verify that this was really me and they refused to cash even a $50 check. They told me I would have to wait until I legally changed my name or to contact all my wedding guests and have them rewrite checks to my husband and I with my maiden name. I was livid, walked out, and went with my new husband to Chase. Not only did they cash the checks with no problem, but also set up the account in my soon to be last name because my MARRIAGE LICENSE proved who I was. DO NOT BANK WITH CREDIT UNION ONE. ESPECIALLY NOT AT THIS BRANCH.

I waited in the drivethru to cash a check drawn from the institution. Only one drivethru was open. After a lengthy wait I was told non members had to come inside to cash a check. Upon going inside I was then informed it would cost $5 for them to cash the check. Very uninviting experience. I would never bank there.

I would never ever under any circumstances switch back to one of the big banks. Credit Union One is the best. The one caveat I have is that you can only have personal accounts here, if you have a business then you are stuck going elsewhere.

If I could give this bank 0 stars I would. I will NEVER get a loan through this bank ever again and plan on closing all accounts as soon as I can. Took a car loan out through them and they have MESSED up my auto payments 4 times now. 2 months now I’ve been calling and dealing with this bank. First time the person forgot a number in my routing number so my payment was never pulled. Second time the lady fixed it and added an EXTRA number to my account. Asked her to change my payment due date and never did. My last months payment never went through because the person who processed the transaction put the payment into my savings account here and it was never applied to my loan. So now I have a late fee for something that isn’t my fault. Absolutely the worst bank ever.

I have been with Credit Union One for years and have always been treated promptly and professionally. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is they do not have many ATMs in southeast MI. Because they have so few branches, I find it hard to find an ATM where I don't have to pay fees.

What is the point of having a drive thru if there is no one to work it? Been here a few years and assumed they'd fix that eventually. Also, its 2019. Everyone else has WORKING apps and a way to deposit cash. It's time to get a little more modern.

My family has been with CU One for more than 20 years and we are very happy with the services they offer. oh, sure, there is the occasional glitch, but they do a very good job in clearing them up for us. i have referred them to many people over the years and those that have selected them are very happy they did.

Do not waste your time banking here... This is the worst Credit Union ever. There only open from 10am-5pm, not open on the weekends and there is no one to talk to after hours. I will be closing my account ASAP.
