Credit Union 1 Chicago

I visited the Credit Union 1 at their U.I.C. Wood st. location today and was very pleased with the service I received from Ashley Hill, and Alexander Gomez. They were very helpful, friendly, and most of all patient. Ashley was able to answer my questions, and Alexander walked me through some online challenges I had (not my strong suit). I enjoy doing my banking in person because the folks who work there make it an enjoyable experience.

Credit Union 1 is the best. One major reason for that is the employees that they hire. For over 15 years, Theo Booker has been assisting me with my financial needs. From savings account, personal loan and then car loans. Theo has always been very knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. He proves to be efficient and effective with a sincere attitude to assist in the best way possible. The main reason that I have been with Credit Union 1 for so long is strongly due to Mr. Booker's customer service.

I use the branch at UIC West. The staff are all friendly and greet you with a smile. Today was the second time I was serviced by Ashley. She had me laughing as she encouraged me to enjoy my long overdue vacation. Ashley answered all of my questions and provided excellent customer care service.

People like Ashley Hill (at the UIC-Wolcott office) are exactly what we need more of in banks. She helped me resolve several issues and questions that I've been trying to figure out on my own. She took the time to explain processes, make phone calls, get back to me, and make sure I had no more questions. Ashley made my day by putting my worries to rest. New employees should shadow her to learn - she's a natural! Thank you, Ashley!

I Had a few questions regarding a checking account and other services offered by credit union 1.... The representative Ashley Hill was extremely helpful, very professional, and answered all of my questions... excellent customer service... Thank you Ashley!

Ashley at the Wolcott Branch of Credit Union 1 in my opinion provides some of the best customer service in banking...whether in the branch or over the phone she always can answer all questions I might have about my account and can resolve all issues quickly and efficiently. She definitely should get a promotion or bonus for she definitely works hard and deserves it. It has been a pleasure to come to the Wolcott branch since the Randolph Street location closed...

I had a problem from 2017 and the only way I could clear it up was by getting account records from 2017. Ashley Hill was so, so kind. She went above and beyond to pull up records from 5 years ago from a data base that they no longer use and printed them for me so that I could clear the account that was paid from my credit. When I looked at the paper work thanks to her help, I saw charges that I will also be receiving a refund for over-charges. Thank you so much ma'am for helping me!!!

I just want to thank Ashley Hill for such excellent customer service. She answered all my questions and is very knowledgeable of what credit union has to offer. She exudes excellence. You rock Ashely!!

Lauren was nothing short of amazing. I came in for a simple savings account and ended up with a high yield one instead. Anyone that’s trying to help you earn money on your money is definitely an asset. Would definitely recommend to everyone.
