Sherrie Kitto and her Team Kitto staff have helped me purchase real estate and have helped me do a cash out Re finance. They are truly top shelf every time! There is always someone there to respond to your emails. They have excellent follow up, and they make you feel like their most important client throughout the entire loan process. Super frustrated with Cornerstone. Renee was super pleasant to work with and very responsive. The process of obtaining the loan and closing on our home went very smoothly. The reason I am giving a poor review is that I asked about whether they would likely sell our loan to another lender early on in the application process, and Cornerstone said they serviced most of their loans, which I told them was good because it was very important to us that we recast right away. Then a week before our first payment was due we got a letter from Cornerstone that they had sold to another lender. The new lender has absolutely terrible reviews and now we are afraid to recast our loan with them. Very fustrating. On top of that Cornerstone sent us several letters with our new account info for our new lender, and the account numbers were incorrect (and conflicted with the numbers on letters we received from our new lender) so we had to call several people to straighten out which info was correct. Up until this point, I had really enjoyed working with Cornerstone. Cornerstone says it's out of their individual control, but it's their company that decided to sell it, so they can't say it wasn't them. The company that it sold our loan to literally has a one star rating on google and many of their reviews say that they are terrible for recasting loans, which is exactly what we need to do. It would be much better if they at least sold it to a lender with decent reviews.

Great folks to work with through every step of the lending process. I loved the weekly updates that tracked what was pending, what was needed and next steps. Those updates kept me on track as well as kept me in the loop for time so that no one was waiting for me to provide additional information. Renee was very informative on ways to improve my loan status and get better rates. I would recommend to anyone buying in Montana.

Outstanding experience refinancing my house with Renee and her team, including Patty! Answered my millions of questions and were so easy and transparent to work with. Refinancing can seem intimidating but it was not this way with Cornerstone; Would highly recommend for real estate transactions.
