I cannot describe accurately enough how pleasant my experiences have been working with Melanie and her team. Each of them make the home buying process smooth and effortless. Teri was my loan processor and she was always available, answered phone and email promptly and made me feel comfortable. Melanie and her team deliver high class service every, single time. Any question or have, they answer. I have felt comfortable and confident each time working with them. I will return and refer my family and friends to them also!

Richard and team were so knowledgeable and patient with me during the purchase of my first home. I couldn’t have prayed for a better support system. Having to relocate from out of state, the the uniqueness of my income situation, and my picky/stubborn personality were no issues for them. Words cannot properly express how pleased I am with my Cornerstone experience. I have pretty good credit, pretty good employment history, and just all around a pretty good application for a mortgage. I worked with 2 lenders for 5 months and never got anywhere. I reached out to a friend for a recommendation and Cornerstone had me cleared in underwriting in less than 1 week. They coordinated my appraisal and BOOM! It was done in no time at all. I am so thankful for their teamwork, coordination, and timeliness!!!

I can 100% say I do not recommend Cornerstone for lending. I tried multiple times to work with Pam Eastwold, not once but twice, and each time she blew me off. I would call, email, and text her, and she would never reach back out. Pam pulled my credit twice. The first time she asked me to fix certain things, I did. I reached back out, she pulled my credit again, and she stated she would get back with me and that everything looked good, and she never did even after several calls, VM’s, and emails. I don’t know if she doesn’t like working with first-time homebuyers, people of color, or just being plain unprofessional but definitely look elsewhere if you want to be treated with some type of courtesy and professionalism because this company definitely isn’t it. 12/2/21 Update: Pam reached back out to me and apologized. Worst lender I ever had. Talked me into a 95% mortgage on my new home. Expecting to recast it after sale of my old home after 90 dayThey sold it to another bank within one week. I also sent them the first month payment two days before I was contacted by the new bank that they needed a payment. Now Cornerstone who cashed my check can’t find the entry to refund my money. So o have been trying to get back my $2500 from them. The original team that handles my money won’t even return my calls. Be careful if you use them. They will promise you things and then dump you mortgage as fast as the can.

Nick was great to work with and the experience was really easy. He helped us in every way possible and worked after hours to get what we needed done. He is great at what he does and will recommend him to anyone.

I had the pleasure of working with the Niles team in Seattle. Working with Ryan and his team went really smooth. This was my first ever mortgage and we didn’t have a single problem. I was using a different “preferred” lender at first, but that lender wasn’t able to close and Ryan’s team was. Not only that, their rates were better than the preferred lender as well. One of the things I really loved were the Total Cost Analysis Reports. I love being able to see differences in options, on my own time and as much as I want. Because sometimes things go past my head but with the reports I’m able to go back to Ryan’s explanation over and over again. I would definitely use these guys again.

Paul Vincent really knows his stuff. Great lending team with a deep wealth of knowledge. They treat you right every step of the way. I even put Paul through his places one night, requesting a wealth of information just for my personal reference. The guy actually stayed late to put it all together for me himself. That's right, the big dog stayed late to do me a favor that had nothing to do with a loan, but the information that helped me narrow my home search. I had to give him my business after that. They went above and beyond time and time again to help us get into our home and the entire process was seamless.
