We worked with Doug to secure our mortgage. With the housing market fluctuating a lot, we were super grateful for Doug’s patience as he worked with us for four months prior to us closing on a house. Doug was never pushy, he always took time to understand where we were coming from and did everything he could to support us. I highly recommend Doug and Consumers for mortgage and banking needs!

When I decided to change banks for my business account, Consumers was highly recommended to me by both a friend and a massage client who had an account in a different part of Michigan. I find the customer service people very welcoming and friendly, the sign-up process relatively easy, and I think the virtual deposit system (tellers are all off-site and accessible by an ATM -type machine) is streamlined and basically a brilliant way to utilize their teller staff. So far a great experience!

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT get a loan with this company. Absolutely insane late fees that will add thousands to your loan and will reverse payments without you knowing. Go with LMCU or Bloom credit union I have nothing but good things to say about both of them.

All went well. Also looking for a way to help our son with some assistance involving the college tuition of his twins ...one is going to U of M and one to Davenport.

Never but missed a payment always paid on time more than my regular payment on my final payment I selected pay off When doing so 2 days later I go check my account again and they have the nerve to charge me 19 cents even though I paid my payment early on the 7th And wasn't due until the 8th even though a manager told me even if I paid it on the 8th even through another bank they would have seen I try to make an on time payment and would not charge me I hate Getting miss information Will not be shopping for a loan thru them ever again

I am but a child who needed some help with my accounts my parents started for me a few years ago. In less than an hour the very nice people here helped me get a new debit card, refunded some charges to my account, and helped me start a program to establish credit! They are amazing here I highly recommend them.
