Connex Credit Union Dixwell Ave, Hamden

I have been a member for more than 10 years. Their customer service is excellent. I have been a customer at various banks for over 50 years. None of them can compare to the service I receive from Connex. I never have any surprise fees for cashing a check, service fees for not maintaining a certain balance, etc. It is all free. I was paid back some money from a friend with their bank check. Took it to their branch, and they told me I had to pay a $7.00 processing fee since I did not have an account. No exceptions. Pointed out to the teller it was their check, written by their account holder, they should honor it. They said no, we don't do that.

The most incompetent bank ever. Charged $498.00 in overdraft fees while they had $70,000 of my money in a money market account. Really, not one concerned phone call ????? Never do business with these folks.

At this location there meeting is more important than the customer the tellers didnt know how to print a replacement atm card and they called the people who knew but they wouldn't come out the meeting or answer them in the phone you can see them through the window one lady looked back I guess she saw I was black she thought it wasn't important or answer the phone so much for customer service.

Worst bank I’ve ever opened up, customer service is absolutely trash. Went inside and everyone was rude to me.

This is the slowest & worse credit union ever, especially the Hamden location. All they tell is lies, very unprofessional. Unbank, yeah right, NEVER....

Great to bank with…been there forever but it seems the new tellers are extremely slow and confused as to what they’re doing…I’ve never waited so long for a transaction in this place until their new tellers came!

I go in to pay my wife's car loan and I told the lady that my payment will be late if I don't pay it by today and she said I can't give you access to her loan with the account number. But last month i came in and gave you her name and address and paid it just fine. I'm highly upset.. there was no concern expressed by the lady behind the desk in the Hamden store. Also she gave me the blankest most dry face like if she didn't care. If you can get a loan else where please do. They have bad customer service which is bad business.

Every teller every time... friendly, helpful, courteous. I appreciate the attention to detail and the cheerful alacrity applied to whatever business I am conducting across the counter. Thank you, Connex.

I've been very happy with the bank. Easy to work with repays ATM fees, free financial planning and pleasant staff

Always polite and professional. I just wish they were open a longer on Saturdays.
