I recently decided to finance my lease vehicle instead of paying cash at lease end. After doing so, I started getting bombarded with mail asking for a copy of the title with CFCU showing as lien holder. I can’t exactly give something I don’t have. After contacting GM financial, they stated the title was sent to CFCU. I get another letter yesterday saying I’m being given a penalty rate of 18% since CFCU has not received a title yet. After reading my loan documentation over, I saw this nowhere in the documents. I feel it is taking advantage of the consumer for something that is out of their control. Especially when my title is probably laying on someone’s desk who hasn’t bothered to check the mail. I went with my original plan and paid off the loan. I’m considering a home equity loan in the future and will probably get this elsewhere now.

Signed overdraft protection paperwork on 2 separate occasions because they apparently misplaced the first set.. only to find out over 3 weeks later that the paperwork isn't even on file. How hard is it to pull money from a LINKED savings account? The branch manager and assistant branch manager "aren't available". Transferring all my accounts to a different bank. I would give less than 1 star if I could.

Not only does this bank have the weirdest issues (for example: you can’t deposit money at atms), the real reason I gave 1 star is because of the blatant discrimination from their underwriters. While this bank denies me for a $300 credit card limit, chase gives me $10000 no questions asked (same day for both applications, so they can’t claim it’s because of my credit history- which in itself is fantastic). Note: this is the 3rd time I have been denied for “bad” credit (aka not being white) here while never being denied ANYWHERE else. But hey, if you’re white maybe you will have at least a two star experience.

For whatever reason they don’t answer the phone! I have tried at least five times for over 20 minutes and they didn’t answer at any prompt!

My husband who handled our accounts unexpectedly passed away. I've been in personally to the local branch multiple times to make sure things were set, as I did not handle any of the vehicle payments. Apparently they messed up the account, and one of the vehicle payments were late, even though I had them set up for direct withdraw. Now I have a late payment on my perfect credit score!! I will be pulling my accounts from Community Financial and going with a bank that actually takes care of their customers!!!

Worst experience banking I've ever had in my 53 years! Applied for a 2nd mortgage and my husband and I received 2 separate calls from Lee Ann Perez, (still have her VM) stating we have been approved, to later be told we were denied! Why would you waste someone's valuable time having them jump through a million hoops then so casually dismiss them?? I've never experienced such disorganization and unprofessionalism in my life! I will gladly take my business elsewhere. Wish I could give ZERO Stars!!

I've been a Community Financial customer for a decade now. My most recent experience was with Leeann Perez. I got pre approved for an auto loan and the sales woman from the dealership I bought my car from commented to me about how awesome Leeann was to work with. Leeann had bend over backwards for me because of errors from a different dealership. I wish everyone I dealt with was a friendly, professional, positive and accommodating. 5 stars really doesn't do her justice. Thank you Leeann!
