Community Choice Credit Union Farmington Rd, Livonia

I was given information to set up an account from my other bank to pay a credit card. The process failed twice. No one was able to help resolve this. I called back to make a payment. I gave my banks routing/account number. After being told that everything was all set and payment is in, I get a phone call today (a week later) and was told I need to make a payment. I said I already made it, they confirmed it was marked in the notes but they never processed it. so now they need my banking information again, and I said where is the information I gave last time? very frustrating. I am on vacation with my family and won't be in town until next week. The lady told me that I need to look up my information now and call back to give it to them. I said where was the information I gave you? she said they don't have it. I said I'm out of town and don't have access to my routing/account number. she said you need to get the information and contact us back or we will call you. I went over to Chase and it has been nothing but great experience. I have had several other issues with them. One of them was when I went to close my daughters accounts and pull the money and they didn't even need my ID or anything to process this. I gave the account number and they handed me their money. This was concerning with their security process with handling accounts/funds.

I had such a wonderful experience today with La’Asia! I went in to the bank to deposited money to make my car payment. She educated me on my options of financing through community choice credit union verses the financial company I was already used me in efforts to save me money. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate her doing that for me, and for all the many others I’m sure she has also helped. Thank you so much again. You guys are the best bank ever!

The power was out at my bank location so I was recommended to the Farmington location where I was assisted by Ben, one of the tellers. He was so patient and helpful with me and took care of all my concerns and questions. I would recommend this location and teller to anyone. Friendly faces and friendly smile

My husband and I recently had our accounts compromised. Debi Bridgen, an employee at the credit union, worked with us for several days. We would like to thank her publicly for her concern and hard work. She was professional, knowledgeable, and sympathetic to two 80 year olds who had no clue how to fix this invasion of our privacy. Again, thank you Debi for your assistance and patience.

La’Asia was absolutely wonderful very quick with requests and gave helpful suggestions to make my experience easier and made sure I wouldn’t have to make extra trips! She was extremely knowledgeable and personable though the two or three hours my fiancé and I were there. She made a stressful day easier. I enjoyed her customer service very much!

Sam was very sweet and helpful; it is my first time opening a bank account and he put everything in to terms that were very easy to understand. Overall I enjoyed my experience and I am looking forward to banking with Sam and community choice!

I have been dealing with an ongoing fraud issue and the branch at 5 mile and Farmington was nothing short of amazing this week. Two employees in particular, Lena and Sharon, went above and beyond to make me feel supported and handled all of the account switches and changes I had to do, even with my hundreds of questions and requests. I highly recommend visiting for any banking needs or if you are looking for a new credit Union!

My first bank account as a child (that I still have) was started at Community Choice. I not only bank there personally, but our business does as well. Great customer service and easy access to information. All of the staff is wonderful that we have dealt with, especially the Branch Manager Holli! Keep up the great work!

Today I have the fortunate luck of being the first person in the Credit Union this morning. When I walked in the first face I saw belonged to Holly Belding who greeted me and told me she would be happy to help me. Holly was very friendly and very helpful. Holly was also very knowledgeable in different programs that the bank offered for various different situations that I had. Holly took the time to discuss in detail the benefits and some pros and cons. I believe Holly is a great asset to Community Choice Credit union. She is a perfect example of what a Professional Financial Advisor should be like.

This review is long overdue! I have been with Community Choice C.U. for close to 20 years. My business accountant was the one who recommended them to me since I needed a financial institution that was small business friendly. He nailed it! My wife & I also moved our personal accounts over shortly after. As my sons got old enough they did their banking here as well. Over the years we have been extremely happy with any services we have needed and the staff members who have helped us out. Speaking of staff, I have to mention one employee in particular: Sharon Copciac. She has been phenomenal to work with, from helping us sort out issues with one of my son's accounts & loans while he has been out of the country, to helping my wife and I select the appropriate services as the need arose. More recently she has been a life saver for us as we had to transition my elderly mom's banking needs to Community Choice C.U. from her old banking establishment in northern Michigan where she used to reside. Other staffers currently and over the years have also deserved kudos, but Sharon definitely stands out for us! My Personal Banker La'Asia (Livonia branch-farmington road) was fantastic, superb and excellent. Her customer service was excellenet and she was attentive to all my banking needs. This was my first experience at this location. I was in a bit of panic because I needed a cashiers check and this location was the only one that I could find open on Saturday. I was assisted by the manager Holli and she was extremely kind and knowledgeable. Lastly, LaAsia, an old friend, came over to make sure my experience was nice and to say goodbye. Yes, this was my first visit but it will not be my last!

Always a pleasurable experience every time I visit the credit union on 5 mile and Farmington road. Everyone is just amazing from the manager Holly to all the personal advisers that work there. Keep up the great work. I also had the honor of going to my favorite branch again today where I was greeted by a wonderful person named La’Asia. As she is new to the credit union, she politely asked for my I.D. to access my account, even though everyone else there knows me. I recently switched to CCCU from a larger big box bank, and it has been the best decision I have made. My line of work makes banking difficult, but they have made everything so easy! From the on boarding team, to everyone at the Livonia branch. Great bank, with even better people. HIGHLY recommend.

Someone hacked into my account and I went to the 5 mile and Farmington branch. I was met by George and he immediately took control of the problem. The charges were removed from my account and I was issued a new card on the spot. George was friendly and caring in taking care of the problem. I couldn’t of asked for anything more to be done. As I walked out I felt assured that my problem was taken care of. Thanks George for all your help and giving me piece of mind.

By far the absolute best experience ever. I brought a friend with me to do some banking and she was so impressed that she is planning to have her and her husband open an account. We were at the Five Mile and Farmington Branch. Sam was our service provider and did a stellar job. We were still reeling from the very courteous greeting at the door and being told we were welcome and that they were glad we were there. What a joy! Do what I did, ditch the big banks and become part of the family at Community Choice Credit Union.

The Livonia branch gives exceptional customer service and they really go out of their way to help you when you are in a pinch. I would like to commend Holli Kerkoff for taking time this week to help me with some very important financial issues. She really went out of her way to help me and I really appreciate her hard work!

I just walked out of the branch office after opening accounts for my minor children. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Lena was an extraordinary help. She was engaging, well-informed on our options and efficient but very patient answering all of my nervous teenager's questions, going step by step while setting up their first checking/ direct deposit account. Absolutely floored with the level of service received at Community Choice Credit Union and Personal Advisor Samuel Marsh. I was looking into refinancing 2 auto loans and a mortgage. I received great information and suggestions, I did go ahead with an auto refi loan and within 2 days the loan was closed and payoffs sent. Within 2 business days, I have confirmation that 2 of the payoffs have gone through, and I expect notice on the third in the next day or so. Exceptionally quick and friendly service. Highly recommend both Samuel Marsh and Community Choice.

If you’re looking for a new financial institution, Community Choice is the way to go, no doubt! Super friendly atmosphere when you walk in the door and regardless of which advisor helps you, you’re bound to get great service. I just switched over today and La’Asia, the advisor that assisted me today, was beyond thorough in explaining everything and was a huge help in opening up my account. Go pay her or any of there other advisors a visit if you want better service out of your place of banking!

La’Asia Lockhart was an amazing help as she guided me through re-setting up my e-banking. She explained all of the options I have that could earn me rewards. Lena has helped me ‘out of a jam’ numerous times, always with a smile and friendly attitude. I worked with Deborah with opening a new account. I'm a first time customer here and I was very impressed. Everyone was really nice and welcoming. I have to say that Debi was very knowledgeable, helpful, and has great customer service skills. She answered all of my questions and directed me to what was best for my needs. My name is Brad and I have been a member of Community choice CU for over 20 years. Yesterday, (5/7/21) I had the pleasure of Speaking with Assistant Mgr Sharon from The 5 mile and Farmington rd location. Not only was she extremely polite and professional, but she also took a look at my account and provided me with options that were never mentioned to me in the past by any other representative. Sharon could have easily just answered my question about E-deposit and went on with her evening. Yet she continued to look over my account as a whole. And provided me with options that would help to avoid 30 dollar late fees, along with recommending the exploration of home equity incentives after I brought up doing some Remodeling to my home. Needless to say, Sharon went above and beyond to make sure that my best interests (short and long term) were looked after. I could tell that she truly cares about the customer and looks to build long-term strategic relationships with her clients that tend to evolve into a “win-win” for both the customer and the credit union. When I think of Community Choice CU, the first thing that comes to my mind is Sharon. I highly recommend this location and whenever I need advice, I know I can trust her (especially during times of hardship due to Covid). I usually do not write reviews of this length. I had the most amazing service when I went to the Livonia office ! I have had the worst time with trying to get my phone app reconnected to my new phone. With multiple failed attempts on my own and with over the phone customer service, I finally went in person and had the most wonderful help! Elizabeth and Sam worked so diligently and did not stop trying until they got my e-banking app back up and running ! I wanted to cry I was so happy ! I had been 6 months without my app for banking and they made sure I wasn’t leaving without it ! I cannot thank them enough for all the help! They really are an amazing team ! We have been members at CCCU for a long time. We love the team at the Farmington Road branch! I went in recently to get a new debit card and was waited on by L'Asia. She was so sweet and engaging. In this day and age where many folks seem to be so preoccupied and/or distracted, it was very refreshing to work with someone like L'Asia!

Holy cow, how do I rate this place 1000+ stars? Because that is truly the experience I had here at community choice! I’m a first time used car buyer and I went to community choice for a loan and Sam was AMAZING! He walked me through the entire loan process step by step and did everything so quickly and efficiently! He also helped sign me up for a new checking/savings account by explaining the advantages to their program! He made my loan experience super easy and hassle free. This branch also let me come in person despite all the covid-19 restrictions in place and were safe and up to standards in regards to my protection as well as their own. A relative recommended me to Crestwood. I had no problems here. Their customer service is excellent: fast and accurate. Whether I needed new checks to check on deposits /withdrawn money on checks.

Stopped in today to handle quite a large amount of transactions and adjustments to my account after recently getting married and Debi made it an absolute breeze. I was truly dreading it, expecting a lot more paperwork, and feeling defeated before entering but she had us in and out in no time with all of our tasks completed.

Been a member about 15 years. Recently had to open a trust for my fathers estate. My bank had no idea how to put it together nor were they interested in even trying. So I went to Community Choice. They took the time to put the entire thing together, notarized the documents and faxed everything to the other parties. Couldn’t be happier with with Holly, Megan and the rest of the staff!!!
