I love this bank and everyone at this branch is so nice and helpful. I want to show lots of love for Kayla Nelson she is so wonderful I will never go to any other bank she helped me so much when nobody else did thank you so much you have no idea how much I appreciate you. Also want to say thank you to Jace he is awesome to very helpful and nice thank you also you guys are great. :)

I was depositing money for my mom on 8/4/2021 I went through the drive through and Katie was very helpful and patient and kind. My mother is having health problems and I asked her how I could get on her account. She was very helpful and knowledgeable.would definitely recommend stopping and seeing Katie!

Avoid some of these pain points that I experienced with their check policy. They wouldn't cash a check that was dated in the future even though I've heard that's just more of a reference. 2: I went to the Clive branch and they told me they needed both parties signatures on the check. Then I go to the Lyon Street and they tell me that both parties need to be present to cash it. These sort of policies make me want to look elsewhere. 3: After my financial advisor left 6 years later a Cuna rep reaches out to me and it really made me lose faith in what a financial adviser is. I said I'm going to buy a house and all they could say is, Oh yeah great time to do that. When the conversation went silent, he kept saying anything else? It honestly doesn't matter because I get free advice through fidelity.

Absolutely disrespectful, check goes in Friday first thing and yet debits process before credits so on many occasions have been charged NSF charges for things beyond my control.... my wife was told "maybe you should budget better" exact quote from the call center. Have been told conflicting information every time I've had inquiries. Banking app is completely wishy washy.... tells me maintenance at 7pm yet can't access account at 3pm. Definitely switching banks very soon.

Community Choice is way behind the times. If you’re old as hell you’d like this bank. This bank doesn’t offer a tap feature on its debit card. Nor does it offer Apple Pay and is impossible to find on Venmo or CashApp. They gave me a $13,000 loan and have a copy of my ID but still have the wrong address on my account. However they offer great interest rates and financing through this bank is awesome. Has its ups and downs. Overall it’s alright I guess. Just outdated.

was going to switch to CC until i caught the guy lying about the fees that i had just asked about, Blake at the des moines location needs more training for sure. how can you trust someone with all your money if they are going to lie to you in the first 5 minutes of knowing you? ill look elsewhere for banking.

Things were fine until after about 8 years my account went overdrawn due to covid unemployment. When I was able to make it positive, I was barred from having a checking acct, debit card, or using any of their services to check my balance. Sometimes I wasn't able to withdraw my own money without a consultation with account services, which resulted in late bills and other associated problems. DO NOT BANK HERE IF YOU ARE POOR or paycheck-to-paycheck, you will be punished for it.

Our family LOVES Community Choice. We have done numerous types of transactions over years and they have been amazing to work with each time. From car loans, personal loans, opening kids accounts, "sister" banking, business options, they have come through time and time again. We have recommended Community Choice to many family and friends and will continue to do so in the future.

Called in regarding an account and the representative got me to someone that could help me immediately. Deb M. helped me today and was very efficient. I've been a member for many years and enjoyed the process growing with them. Highly recommend!

I have been banking there or over 6 years. I try to keep a positive attitude towards the Lyon st branch but every time I turn around there are reasons to run. Just yesterday 10/20/17 I had to go into a branch due to my debit card was worn out and it's the only way to get cash if there is no chip reader ATM. 2 weeks ago I drove in to fill out the sheet to get a new one. Yesterday they told me they would look into and call me. They called a couple of hours later and told me the form was never turned in ( Not sure how I did it in the bank) and I would have to drive (25 min) back to fill it out again then wait another 2 weeks. I stated I did not loose the form you did so lets get this corrected. She told her manager that and I head her say " Just hang up" and the line went dead. I called another branch my card will be here this week. Some branches are great, Lyon st I've had hit and miss luck with rude and/ or non professional people. If they are new I always give leeway but for someone else to say screw this customer hang up is the worst customer service and advise anyone to stop into a different branch. Not an isolated incident it seems if you need anything other than deposits or cash (which most bank you can do at the ATM) it's a fiasco. You can't even deposit a check from your phone anymore what a step backwards. LOANS: Again hit or miss I've had some that say they will look into the paperwork and call be back within 2 hours and never hear from them again. Some never follow through with any paperwork. I got a hold of a loan agent named Carlos awhile back and he was great. I did 3 loans through him for various things all went smooth. I hear he has since moved on but hopefully someone good took his place.
