From the time I walked in the door I felt like home. Sara the bank manager greeted me promptly and explained to me in amazing detail all the Checking, Savings, and Safe Box options the Aspen location provided. Although Sara was currently helping another customer, she then kindly introduced me to the assistant banking manager Jennifer Morales! Whom was also super informative and quick in setting up my accounts. She knew in great detail all the banking options and made my experience at Community Banks of Colorado the best banking experience ever ! I don't usually have much good to say about banks but yesterday I went down to the Community Banks Of Colorado - Aspen branch with a problem relating to incorrect mortgage loan information associated with my homeowners insurance. I spoke with the branch manager - Sara Dobbins, explained the situation and was impressed with how she took ownership to resolve the problem. She made several calls to the bank's head office loan department and then invited me into her office where we jointly initiated a call to the insurance company. Problem resolved. Sara exceeded my customer service expectations. Interestingly, she rolled up her sleeves to fix my problem even though it was evident that it was an insurance company problem, not a problem with her branch. If you are in Aspen looking for a bank with great customer service and proactive hands-on branch management you now know where to go.

I was on vacation and my card was not working properly and Mrs. Morales took the time to call my bank to have it figure out since this has never happened to me before and I didn’t know what to do. She took the time out of her schedule, even though she didn’t have anything to gain from it, but decided to help me. I wish more bank staff would take time to meet client’s needs instead of focusing on the money making aspect of banking. She really made my vacation experience less stressful and more enjoyable.

I have had so much trouble with Community Banks Web site and logging in, during the evening when they have no one available to assist you and I have time to do banking. I've had an account with them for over 15 years and they now are saying they don"t have my correct phone number to verify my account! REALLY!!! I have very important banking business that needs to be done tonight now I can't. I really like the location of my Aspen Community Bank and the fact that they have parking. But these types of problems are recurring, I think unfortunately after all these years with them I need to change banks.
