Community Bank, N.A. Main St, Towanda

Use to be a decent bank to bank with but at this point I'm so ready to find a new banking institution to do business with. Don't get me wrong most of the community Bank workers are kind and try to be helpful but what they try and what they do are different things I've had different banking needs over the last few months that I've needed assistance with and they're never helpful in the situations I've needed lately to the point I'm ready to switch institutions.

I have seen the Towanda bank manager handle many situations with customers very rudely. She acts as if she is the dictator of the bank. She makes decisions with the reasoning of because I can mentality. I have even heard her say if you don't like my decision you always find yourself a new bank. The only people I have seen her be nice to are good looking young men.

I highly recommend if you are looking for a good bank that you do not chose the towanda community bank as they are very rude and inconsiderate they will not work with you when they are the ones that made the mistake!! Shannon Sibley is the only pleasant one there and she is a teller or problems would be solved the right way!!

Have been with them for years and I have nothing to say but good. Highly recommend the bank to others, very friendly people and easy to work with.

Had my acc for years, they've had my SSN wrong the entire time... with a copy of my SS card ON FILE. IMPOSSIBLE to moves funds without 3 hour circus calls. If you're not inside the bank itself, nothing will be done for you.

A teller in this bank gave $840 to someone else who had the same name as the heir of my account without a withdrawal slip, check book etc. or death certificate as I am not dead. And the attitude of the bank no big deal!!! My branch is in Palmyra NY. Very scary. Money should be safe in a bank. If I had not caught it I would have had bounced checks all over the place and someone else would have my money.

The workers are the nicest people you’ll ever meet, but they’re closed more than they’re open anymore. Can’t even count how many times I’ve wasted trips over to this bank just to pull up and see a closed sign in the window.

Love this first bank that always greeted me by my name every time I came in the tellers always are willing to listen to my problems
