Commonwealth Credit Union High St, Frankfort

I've been a mortgage-only customer for the last three years. Do NOT use their mortgage products. I'm not sure if it's their software/tools or if their processes/people lack structure or training. Either way, it shouldn't be my problem. Every year I have to call about a wildly miscalculated escrow projection statement. Last year's projection was so bad that the shortage for this year would DOUBLE my projected monthly escrow payment. Their banking platform (web/app) is just as bad. I discovered a random late charge from seven months ago after viewing my payment breakdown that their banking platform doesn't tell you about. There's no way to pay it online as there is zero mention of previous balances. I'm somehow still on the hook for that late charge, even though I have never been late. The guy I spoke with said, "it's not hurting you. it can be on your account for the life of your loan or until you pay it.." dude, what?! I'll be looking at refi options this year. Stay far away from this credit union.

Love this bank . Any banks of ccuky I've been in is outstanding service. My closest and most favorite is Sower Blvd. For some reason tho I have to look it up separately because it doesn't show up on the website unless you request it separately by "Sower Blvd. "

You have no control over your money. Very bad credit card

They can take your money for years but when loan is paid off and they over drafted me 345.00 .... They can't send that to me for some reason ... I have to show up to beg for my money I suppose.

Terrible experience with this bank time and time again. Nobody working here is a expert. Nobody can give any information. Called to try and get a fax from my father's death certificate to them and have talked to 3 different people today and not one can even give me a accurate fax number. This bank has been a issue for my father for years. Glad to wash my hands with the Terrible service

Just opened a new account couple weeks ago. I know I specifically ordered a debit card for myself and my wife as I asked her if she wanted one. It has a check box to do so. Waited around for 2 weeks for it to arrive. It never did. Finally called to be told it was never ordered. Why would anyone want a checking and savings account without access to it? Not a good start for me.

I have been a customer of CCU for 26 years, am a former two-time (part-time & full-time) employee, and I have always had a great experience. My whole family are long-term members and I have never had a problem with them. The set-up is convenient, clean and organized, and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to lend a helping hand.

Service is 5 stars. Called in regarding an issue, they took care of it immediately.

Someone opened a fraudulent account in my name. The person occurred a fee. Now, it’s reporting negative on my credit report and they are refusing to remove it despite my police reports!
