I would advise any brokers not to let their agents do business with this commission advance company. They will file a UCC on your business if one of your agents takes out an advance. The UCC will stay on your business credit report for years. Even if the agent leaves your firm, Commission Express will not remove the UCC from your credit file, despite you not having any relationship with them. Other commission advance companies do not do this, they understand that the debt is between them and the agent. Unfortunately this Commission Express location cannot be recommended. Our company has a policy explicitly banning any business with them and I advise you to seek out an advance elsewhere.

Jim Cooper in San Diego is the Bomb! I had never done this in 32 years and was pleasantly surprised with his knowledge, low cost, and ease of the transaction! I had a great experience with Commission Express- I sent Jim my info and I had my check wired to my account the same day! It was like Christmas in July! Fees are competitive and in this case they were the lowest I found.... plus he gave me a grace period as we closed later than projected. As independent contractors sometimes we have great months and some months we have to pay for our kid’s colllege tuition..... thanks Jim! Jim Cooper and Commission Express in San Diego are the best. Their fees for commission advances are very reasonable; much lower than a couple other companies I've dealt with in the past. Their quick turn-around time is the other thing I really appreciate. When you experience cash flow gaps due to the seasonality of sales, it's nice to be able to take an occasional commission advance without feeling like you've been taken advantage of.
