Commerce Bank S 4th St, Leavenworth

I have been banking here for years, also have a safe deposit box. Always been very happy with Commerce Bank.

I've called 6 times now in a row...explained every time that I'm getting hung up on when I get transferred so I can make a car payment. This last time the Supervisor said she would stay on the line when she transferred me so if I did get hung up on, she'd be on the line...guess what?!!! She did not stay on the line and hang up #6. And to top it off, not one person has even tried to call me back. Great job guys...please don't call it customer service if you don't try to help me.

My mother in-law has been banking here for roughly 20 or more yrs. she replayed me for a tow and wrote a check for $200. The next day I took it to her bank “Commerce Bank” on 4th st. to cash it since my bank is 30 min up south on hwy7. I was in total shock to here them say it’s an $8.00 charge to cash a check from their bank. $8.00???? I’m still shocked. I couldn’t believe it! I can walk into my Dillons grocery store and cash a check of this amount for roughly $3.00. This is a crooked bank and I’m trying to get my mother in-law to separate from this crooked bank. They supervisor had the nerve to question me where I banked and compared them to Wal-mart🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️. Then she says that If I wasn’t acting so ugly she would have waived the fee. How in the world do they have the right to charge that much money to cash their checks from their branch??? If anything they were the ugly ones ripping folks off. I really hope my mother in-law leaves this bank. I know I will never encourage anyone to bank with these rude crooks!!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible service, staff shows no customer service. No sense of urgency, inexperience and incompetent employees. I opened my account two weeks ago and I still can’t active online banking because they did not input my social correctly. I do not have access to my funds which provide and inconvenience.

Please give Maddie Miskelly a management position. Either that or a raise. FAST!!! She is simply phenomenal. They were closed and she was still able to help me out as well as reinstate my account when I encountered a mishap. She is a gem.

Friendly, professional, knowledgeable staff willing to meet customers needs

After spending 9 minutes on an automated phone / hold cycle I was able to talk to someone actually at the bank. They said this bank had the foreign currency I needed. Upon arrival they gave me a 6% lower rate, which Im finr with, the EXTRA $20 fee brought the total to 26%! You can aboid this fee by having an account... which I was told they wouldnt open for me... so.... yeah.

These guys have no respect for their customers. and talk behind your back. And for a customer who did nothing wrong to them. That includes the manger,

My bank for the past 3 years. Brent and his team have been fantastic in every interaction. I wish all banks were this good.
