Commerce Bank Locust St, Harrisonville

The eye specialist over charged me on copays and cut me a refund check. I took it to their bank and even though one of their clients wrote the check commerce bank charged me $8.00 to cash it. Crooks!

5 minutes in this bank, was all I needed to figure out, they are the rudest, stuck up bank in the whole town! All I needed was to cash a check, which was issued through them. Miss fancy nails, was super rude about the whole transaction! She would not cash my check, she was the one who offered to help me. Maybe if I looked like a millionaire with fancy nails she would have helped me. Go to Sherwood community bank, they are extremely friendly, nice and professional! They even joke around with you.

A challenge to communicate with during business hours via phone. Calls go through a master switchboard who route you a person's answering machine nearly always. Happened many times and more often than not. Do not call the number listed on the internet.

My parents and I have had several accounts here and we have had a horrible time. It takes forever for us to get our turn in line and they usually rush through whatever we’re trying to fix. This Bank is understaffed, prepare to wait at least twenty minutes.

Needed help with legal paperwork after death of my wife. The manager and his staff were very vey helpfull.

Had an account for years and they were ok. Then I opened a credit card there to build credit. I paid early ever month and they sent me to collection every month for non payment because I made the payment to early. Several times I made the payment twice because I was scared they would put it on my credit. Moved away and many years later came back to town and was going to reopen an account. I was denied and had to file a report to know why. Worried about my credit I filed the report. Came back perfect credit, zero negative remarks. Really? Never a good experience felt stupid for going in there. Just cause it is by the house is not a good reason to punish yourself. Said something about in town and everyone around was listening in I guess. Immediate everyone around me lit up and informed many people feel this way.

Wish I could give 0 stars going thru divorce . Tried to close savings account for my daughter. Would not let me close account because his name was on it. Then a couple weeks later they let him close account and take all My daughters savings . I can’t believe they are so crooked never bank here . I will continue to post negative reviews DONT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.

They are pretty friendly but I am very frustrated with them and how they closed my checking account without warning. I go to cash a check through drive-thru and the teller states "since you do not have an account with us, you will not be able to cash your check" Um hello.... Very disappointed.

Commerce bank is a great bank. Friendly staff, in and out service. Exceeds my expectations, thanks!!

So slow. Commercial drive thru lane is always long and they take a while to process. If you go inside there are 6-8 people at desk and only 2 tellers.
