Commerce Bank Olive Blvd, St. Louis

This the worst bank I have ever dealt with. All they do is lie, after depositing a check the supervisor put a hold on it for 7 days for no reason then 10days later I received a email from Kierra R. stating that my funds would be available for sure at 12am and my check is still not clear. If you are planning to start an account here please don’t the staff will lie and be a inconvenience if they don’t like you. The top people at the bank headquarters told my that the bank a Creve Coeur put a unnecessary hold on my account.

Bad service. It was two tellers working and it was a guy behind the counter when I walked in he walked from behind the counter asked what I need and then just stood next me. I was very uncomfortable. When the next teller was available I walked up. Another man walked in and the guy who stood next me for 15 min helped that guy immediately. I don’t appreciate having to wait that long and then the next guy got help immediately. All I needed was a money order which is easy to do.

Didn't include the promotion for opening my account (the only reason I opened it). Calling customer service to rectify issue just wasted my time because they keep transferring you until you reach a dead end where there is no one on the other end of the transfer. Shamelessly deceitful and incompetent bank.

This is absolutely the worst bank I have ever been to in my life! I am 47 years old and have never been to a bank with worse service! No matter what always a long wait!!!!!!! I don't understand how upper management allows this to continue!

The people are right not only is the service nasty and rude they are prejudice as well along with Customer Service I was told that I could not be serviced for a card that was not signed and has never been signed but was serviced many times before She did not have on a name tag but they claim that both of their names were Amanda the Taylor- as well as the branch manager told me that She was going to call the police on me for doing nothing wrong but being a black on break it’s said as to what this world has come to I then spoke to Ann Bronson who did but asked if I was using government assistance card and that it’s all over the that’s it’s illegal to Record on my phone that I paid the bill for every month it was a total disgrace I read some of the reviews and I should’ve followed my first mind and that went there but it was totally ridiculous if you can’t you need to stay as far away from their issue key because even when you call customer service there it’s just as nasty and rude and they back up the employees for doing so they just don’t understand that we need more people to be aware and to come out and if we stop servicing these type of places then they cannot operate without us as customers there is no way that they will be allowed to stay in business we need to really get something in place for this So I guess black people aren’t allowed to have money unless they’re on government assistance

Been going here about a year and have never had any problems. Was prompted to post a review because I had a bad experience at another bank in the area (not Commerce related). Seemed like there were some bad reviews on this branch, but I've had a great experience here so far. Most of the time they're quick, but yes sometimes you do have to wait in a line. Some of the other reviewers haven't quite grasped the concept of lines and how you have to wait your turn if someone shows up before you. The longest I've waited is about 10 minutes for basic checking account stuff. If you need anything more advance where you sit down with a specialist maybe a little longer than that but not much.

Terrible terrible service. I sat in the drive through for over 15 min while others were serviced before me. Never coming back to this branch. UPDATE: the teller got on the camera phone and told me it was my problem that I came in an hour before close before a holiday weekend and told me off just for hitting the call button because I had been waiting for 10 min without any contact. People were backing up and leaving behind me. He didn't apologize for the wait or service slowness or say anything in a professional manner. He was rude AF and hung up with out letting me respond. What an unprofessional coward. Obviously I dont trust this person or location with my money any longer. I called customer service and the branch mgr to report it. I'll update if I get a call back or even the issue acknowledged by this branch. Sad and embarrassing for commerce. After just selling my home and buying a new one I've learned they are already behind the times in terms of technology and being able to move and secure funds and auths at a modern pace. And now I learn how they let some branches become pathetic. See the other reviews of this place!

jenna silva is the WORST customer support rep at a bank i have ever encountered. the entirety of the bank staff is slow and rude. will never return to this branch and commerce is losing all of my accounts.

Hours posted on the door rate wrong. Say the drive thru is open until 5:00 but it is not. Hours very limited.

A lot of bad reviews on here. I go in here quite a bit and always have quick, polite service.
