Commerce Bank S Broadview St, Cape Girardeau

Refused to certify my signature on an official government form. Making me feel like I was asking for something illegal. Notary public services are supposed to be part of customer services. After 45 minutes I was sent on my way, being told "they were not comfortable doing it". Public library accomplished the task in less than 5 minutes.

Trying to open a business account with them has been a terrible experience. I opened the account 2 weeks ago which in itself was an ordeal and I still don’t have online banking access! It’s slowing down my business opening. I am considering moving all my corporate and private accounts to another bank. This whole process has been handled terribly on their part.

I would like to say Commerce Bank is the best place to bank . So friendly and helpful . I’ve banked there for some time now and they make me feel important and they are very Courteous and professional. I just want to say Thank you !

Terrible customer service! When you make weekly visits to this particular Bank to make change from a $20 bill that I get out of their ATM, and receive grief over it. Trying to get change for my disabled Aunt to do her laundry. Today the Greeter upon entry proudly told me that they don’t give change. Sorry we just don’t do that.🤷🏻‍♀️😠

Never had anything less than wonderful customer service here. They have been wonderful.

My father past away. They refused to release his funds to pay for his funeral. After that, they attempted to hold the funds even though I had power of attorney. Their policy cost me more than $400 used. I did not find them helpful or reasonable.

I'm a long time customer of Commerce Bank. I've always enjoyed banking there and even though I feel like everyone in the facility is friendly and courteous, they now force me to sit at a desk to make a deposit or withdraw. I do NOT like that one bit. It's NOT more personable for me. I do NOT want to have a chat. I have business to tend to. I like to be in and out. I will be making a change at the new year.

I've been going to Commerce bank since I was 16 and I'm now 28. They've always been EXTREMELY helpful, and I've had an array of different problems that they have helped me deal with over the years. They have never done me wrong and I passionately appreciate it. :)

Was given a bonus check for Christmas from my employer. Check is drawn on this bank. I go inside to cash it and then I'm told that because I don't have an account there, I have to pay 6 dollars to cash it. I find this outrageous!! If the check is out of ur bank, I think u should cash it at no charge simply because it's ur freaking check!! I only went there because I didn't wanna drive 30 miles home to my bank and all the way back to Cape to go Christmas shopping. Just another way for this bank to make money off of what would have possibly been a future customer. Never again. That's straight up ridiculous to pay a fee when it's drawn on ur bank!!!
