As a business owner in forestry and construction that has done business with almost every bank in town, Clackamas federal credit union is by a long shot the best there is, especially in lending and business banking. I will never mess with another bank in sandy again. They take the time to find a solution to your banking needs. Thanks again .

I really like everything Clackamas federal has to offer as a credit union. I would recommend having more people in the Sandy Oregon branch to help members and not have them waiting such a long time. Today there were only 2 people available and after sitting about 20 minutes without contact from anybody with another person waiting behind me I finally gave up and had to leave. I have things I have to get done and cannot wait that long. Other then this I would highly recommend Clackamas Federal.

Rude, unhelpful, condescending employees. Ignoring legal court orders. These people don't care or even want your business. Such an off putting and horrid experience. I'm sticking with Chase, because at least Chase knows what they're doing. Incompetence is the name of the game at Clackamas Federal Credit Union where you have to spell everything out for them in crayon and they still don't get it. Bank elsewhere, people. These people operate in the stone age.

They don't charge nearly as many crazy fees for people with low incomes when compared to places such as wells Fargo. I found the staff to be made up of humans instead of machines that simply repeat company rhetoric, as is so common these days. In short all banks are evil, but these guys are still small enough that they are less evil than many, possibly even less evil than most

Great bank, very helpful staff, great services! The night drop deposit box is great and their online banking is easy to use.

I've had an auto loan, a credit card, and a savings account through clackamas for 3 years now. Everything about service was great until I joined the military. When I left for basic training the staff refused to defer my payments while away for 3 months. Considering I had no access to my money this was a problem. Verizon had no issues suspending my line. Farmers had no issues putting my truck "in storage" free of cost for the 3 months since I was leaving to serve. Clackamas refused. They went as far as to tell my recruiter who was trying to help me prepare to leave that he was abusing his power. Eventually the date came and I had to borrow money from a friend and pay them back when I returned home. I will never use them again. Terrible customer service.

Non-standard way of processing funds and bill pay set you up for paying big in overdraft fees. CFCU racks up overdrafts by processing withdrawals before deposits on the same day. When they process the transactions they do it in the order they come in so you end up paying even more in fees then if they processed them smallest to largest. Their bill pay pulls money from your account days before its due (I've never seen a bank do that-ever!). Lured in by the free checking and ended up paying hundreds in fees because I thought they processed funds the way every other bank I've worked with did (Bank of America and US Bank). Maybe its a credit union thing that they don't follow industry standards. Going back to the monthly checking fee. Unless you have a lot of money sitting in your bank to buffer against these deceptive practices, I'd stick with paying a monthly fee and count yourself fortunate. On the positive side, they have great people that try to be helpful but the policies of this bank are about perpetuating a grift in the form of a community bank. This was a very costly lesson for me.

I've had my account here for several years and am totally satisfied. Everyone is always very pleasant and helpful and I am much more satisfied banking here compared to a local bank where I used to have my account. Highly recommend.

I love banking here, every time i come in to cash my checks they know me and if money gets tight have never judged on my account balance, they always are very friendly and what ever questions i have the ladys working up front will walk me through it. I lost my debt card a couple different times and they made me one on the spot!
