Of course I a.m biased. The shop is truly wonderful Being in retail most of my life my daughter has made a great career choice. Miss Perry has made a mistake. The Native Americans were very pleased to have Fred Harvey promote their wares. No one lost and the Natove Americans profited as well as Mr.Harvey.Perhaps miss Perry should dig a little deeper into history.Does she know about the Harvey house restaurants? We can all learn something about how a business should be run.SORRY MS.PERRY YOU ARE WRONG!

    Response from the owner

Thank you so much for your support, however , in my many years in business there is one thing I learned and that is you can never please an angry or unhappy person... so we move on to those who appreciate fine things, history and the knowledge of a shop owner who is willing to share that with her customers. :)

The woman I spoke with was misrepresenting Native American culture. I asked to see a few pieces of silver and tourquse jewelry and she went into full disclosure about Harvey House and how impressed she was with him and how this man made Native Americans give him their work and he would sell it to the tourists.*I pointed out that more importantly the pieces were signed by the artist and she disregarded my comment and went on praising this man for his entrepreneur skills in taking from the natives. The Artist in my point of view is ALWAYS more important than some get rich scheme. She is grossly misrepresenting the Native American culture.

    Response from the owner

Ms. Perry: As the owner of this Shop and the person who gave you my undivided attention that day I am appalled that because you could not get the Thunderbird pin that you wanted for less that you felt you had to take your anger to such levels as my Facebook Business page as well as to google. I told you the pins were from the Harvey Era of Native American pieces, that they were very rare and I could not reduce the price. I asked you if you were familiar with the history. You were not. Although I was extremely busy that day I took the time to explain what was and is a Pivotal period in American History. I have never met anyone who was not gracious and thankful that I share my vast knowledge and passion of not just History but the Native American Culture. EVERYTHING that I carry in my shop is 100% authentic Vintage and Old Pawn Turquoise and sterling NA Jewelry, I do not see how I am in any way misrepresenting the NA Culture. YOU on the other hand have a totally distorted view of that Era in our History. YES Fred Harvey was a business man, and a smart one,., he compensated the Natives very well to mass produce these "tourist pieces" at a time when they did not have means of making money hence the word: OLD PAWN, they had to Pawn their Jewels for goods and services.. Depending on ones own readings or views today I can see how one can come to the conclusion that he took advantage of them... it's easy to say that 100 years later.. looking back … but the truth is they were grateful to have the work throughout the Great Depression as well. There are many books available about this amazing part of our History it would behoove you to buy one and better educate yourself before you decide to insult and degrade someone else's business or their extreme knowledge of their Business as well as the items they carry.

After perusing several Turquoise Facebook pages, I came across City Line Pawn and Antiques in Las Cruces, New Mexico. I live in Michigan and was immediately impressed with the vast array of Old Pawn Turquoise they have. I was looking for two pairs of Turquoise earrings that I could gift to two very special friends. I messaged City Line Pawn and Antiques. The owner, Jacqueline responded promptly to my request and within the day had found two beautiful, exquisite Turquoise earrings for me to review Jacqueline has an immense amount of knowledge and is passionate about her shop. She gave me a fantastic price and the end result my two friends loved their Turquoise earrings! Wonderful experience!

Some subhuman bastard stole many of my tools recently, and John and Jackie have been really helping me out at replacing them. Of course there are a lot of off-brand power tools, as they'll buy what people are selling, but the selection of Makita, DeWalt, and comparable brands is impressive, as are the prices. Everything is tested and guaranteed with a solid return policy, though I don't expect to ever need to use it. Besides tools, there are literal tons of appliances, jewelry, collectibles, and so on. Whether you need a nice Citizen watch, a wine refrigerator, or a Geiger counter, they've got you covered. The place is a real unicorn with its Vegas pawnshop vibe and good-hearted owners. 6/5 stars. P.S. I understand they're in the process of getting an FFL and will be in the gun business soon.

I pawned my items here and they ended up stolen. Still have not gotten a replacement. BEWARE

    Response from the owner

I'm sorry but I do not know you, perhaps you have your Pawn Shops confused. I have not had any Pawned items lost or stolen. I don't owe anyone anything. You need to check your tickets before you bash the wrong business.
