Citizens State Bank Broad St, New Castle

I have been with them a few years now and I feel I have only talked to 2 people that have been super nice and helpful I call my local branch and cant ask a simple Question without them being Rude I don't understand I trust them with MY money and they wanna act like this

Yeah. I liked banking with them at first but a few months later they started restricting my card even tho I had money on it? The first time they had to fix it and they said i wouldn’t have a problem like that anymore and then I got paid today and couldn’t even use it. It’s embarrassing watching your card decline somewhere when you see there’s money on the account. I’ll be sure to change banks after this.

Worst bank to apply for a home loan. Tell to call them for information on the status of my loan and the loan officer never calls you back. Go and made a formal complaint against the loan officer and that person tells you that they will find out what's going on and tells you that they will call you back and never has. I will never use this bank to do any banking with. Screw Citizens State Bank

Great people. Great company. Great experience. Opened in 1873 and still around and kicking. Gotta be doing something right to be the oldest bank in the state!

Make sure you dont die with money in this bank !!! They stole every penny my grandmother had

This bank is convenient however the security for accounts is lacking. They have improved over the past several years but I think more could be done. With that said convenience trumps safety sometimes as is the case for myself. I do also have a prepaid card that offers the safety, so this is a place to cash a check and direct deposit checks. I will say there are a few bank tellers that are extremely nice and helpful but there is a couple of workers both are men that are extremely rude and need to maybe find another line of work.

Setting up a bank account was so easy! It took about 15-20 minutes. I received a lot of information that I could understand and I even got a free gift!!! I would definitely recommend getting an account here.

Received notary services. I was working in town and needed a document notarized. They were friendly, happy, and willing to help me out. I was in and out really quick. Great experience

John goes above and beyond your typical "banker" - he comes from the big banks and has really found and established a niche in the local bank tundra.
