Citizens Bank S Lapeer Rd, Lake Orion

This is the worst branch. They were great and convenient when located inside the Lake Orion Kroger. Now it is one teller and then they greet you to show you a chair to wait. Come on. There are employees there but they are just standing around. I am looking to find a bank that has more locations and better customer service.

Excellent customer service. Carolyn Yee is fantastic. Quick, accurate and always very helpful. I dont understand the negative scores. LOL...i like the chairs. I have a bad back and hip so the chairs are a welcome sight! Been banking with Citizens for years. No bad experiences. This new location on Lapeer rd in Lake Orion ihad been great for me.

They deposited fiances check into someone else's bank account....how does that even happen? Them was on hold for 1 1/2 hours trying to get help. Only to be told a claim was in and had to wait 10-14 days. What kind of bank is this. Pulling everything from this bank to move to another not to mention there Debit cards are cheap and barely work.

The second star is due to the quality people that work there, particularly Eric. Since moving it is horrible. One teller, with three folks standing around not able to help? I am looking for another bank.

I do not understand peoples negative reviews where they complained they had to wait around in a chair. No matter where you bank, you will likely have to wait at times to see a teller. Wouldn't you rather wait in a chair? I have always found the staff here to be extremely accommodating and helpful. I have seen them go out of their way to help an elderly gentleman complete his banking. Great job overall and I highly recommend Citizens!

Been with Citizens for 15 years, but am closing my account. Constantly frustrated with a poor customer experience. Their technology is always behind (eg, mobile banking, bill pay, etc). My most recent frustration was due to not being able to initiate a wire transfer unless I went into a branch which seems archaic. I transferred my money into an account at a different bank that same day and was able to initiate the wire transfer with no problem. I highly recommend a larger institution that is able to keep up or a local credit union that are more customer friendly over Citizens.

I really liked having Citizens inside the Kroger. It is harder to get to now in its current location.
