Citizens Bank S Atherton St, State College

I've been with Citizen's bank for about 5 years now I'd say and I've never had any issues with them. Back in 2016 I was out of the area for a few months and didnt use my bank account and had a fee for about 30.00 for not using it and they refunded the money.. I'm also signed up so that I can't go over my amount so that it avoids over draft fees and somehow I did with a recent purchase and they refunded that money as well. They are extremely kind! Love this bank!

The bankers at the counter have always been helpful and great. Tim is my go to guy when I need a lot of complicated stuff done. He slows everything down so I can understand it! But every one has been really nice and helpful.

This very mature lady in the desk makes me having unpleasant feeling every time I need to talk to her. She is pretending that she is talking to customer very polite with the fake smile she is making, while her actual attitude is pretty rude.

Great people they helped me out when most banks dident wanna let me me open an account great bank great staff keep up the good work.

I was a college student last school year. I sold something online to get extra money as a broke college student. I was written a fake check. I didn’t know it was fake at the time. I’ve never seen one and was naive. So I then took it to this Citizens Bank location in State College. I have issue with the fact my bank teller who should be a trained professional couldn’t recognize a fake check. Also, this location made those funds available the NEXT day. Not until I spent the money on monthly bills was I notified it was fake. So now I have taken the fall on that 1,700 debt. Not only will I never use Citizens Bank again. I will continue to tell every person possible what they did to me. If they can’t train or even investigate checks further and make funds available right away. They should be training employees better. This branch specifically was careless and I called to complain multiple times and they didn’t seem to care. I would not recommend this branch or bank to anyone.

Closing all my accounts at citizens bank. Several bad experiences and manager doesn't seem to care at all. My entire family has switched banks. Terrible customer service, lack of knowledge, I could go on and on. Needless to say, overall awful bank! I do NOT recommend.

Best branch in town! Been using this bank for 13 years without any issues. John A went above and beyond for me last time I went there!

The guy at the counter is awfully slow and inadequate. Stopped just after moving into the town and got out making a promise to myself to never open an account with them!!

If you have a lot of cash, you don't need count them before deposit. They'll count them for you.
