One star is too much. Total nightmare called a banking institution. Where to start? I drove an hour to cash a payroll check here and was treated like a criminal. I understand that the check needed to be verified being it was from out of state. However I was handed my check and refused by the manager Ouma who is talking to me slouched in her chair. After an hour long debacle the check was verified and they agreed to cash it. So then the teller is making excuses as to why she can’t do it, blames it on only having old bills. She asks for a second form of I’d so I give her my passport then some guy from the back comes out and is peaking at the computer as she is entering my info and claims he’s never seen this done. How do you work at a bank and have never seen a Check cashed. It was not even a significant amount of money under $1000 ...Total nightmare I will be following up with a letter to upper management to describe my experience in more detail.

If you are looking for a constant headache instead of banking, than it is a perfect choice.

The asian female teller HAIYAN is the worst one I’ve seen. I went to HSBC rockville center and asked the information about opening an new account. This HAIYAN is so raw to her work and does not know current HSBC business at all. This woman was so unprofessional and adopted an igonorant attitude, even though she did not know what she was saying. And then, she just suddenly interrupted my question and left without any excuse.it is the most horrible experience in HSBC!!!!!! I want to give zero star to her, CAN I??????? I will cancel my bank account application, and won’t go to HSBC any more .

We opened an account and the banker was the most pleasant and professional person possible. He has made follow up calls and served us well.

Headache after headache, if you’re reading this and searching for a good area bank, skip HSBC. They are the “world’s leading (not local!) bank” along with a world of red tape and policy to match

This is the best bank I have ever dealt so far. My banker (Yasir) has gone above and beyond expectations. He helped get a cashier's check and even paid my parking fee because my card from them hasn't arrived yet. I would never go anywhere else. Thanks HSBC!

Terrible service, I waited in line first and the teller took another customer without acknowledging me. I try to access my statement online after closing my account and I cannot do that either. They said they cannot email my statement to me and many other banks were able to do that. I know how the process work because I work for a financial institution. Over all I would not recommend HSBC to anyone.

Very nice looking branch. Friendly and helpful teller. Haven’t had a bad experience here. They validate parking too!

This bank has very poor service. I am a power of attorney, each time, they could not find my information in the file and refused to provide some information.
