Called them to simply help me get my online account sorted and needed some information and the lady who answer was very condescending and rude as well as the manager I think his name is Rob. They are all jerks at that location. Worst set of citizens bank employees I've ever encountered. They need to fire all of them. I wish I could give them negative stars they do not deserve even 1.

Can I give less than one star? Arrived for a simple transaction at 9.05am, waited in line for 5 minutes for the one teller on duty. She stepped away to a side office for a moment, likely to ask for back up as the line behind me was growing longer. 10 minutes later the manager walks out and beckons me over - he receives my deposits but the printer is out of deposit slips so leaves to get paper, add the paper then gets help from the original teller to get his printer working. Then I ask to cash a check - he steps away again to get the cash because his drawer is empty. 22 minutes in the bank for a simple transaction - this is woeful service. If you need a bank, look elsewhere.

Closed account after 7 years due to continual degradation in customer service. I close all my accounts, despite submitting written request to close at this branch, they failed to close one. A year later they're demanding maintenance fees on this $0 balance account. No surprise they've a "D" score and 97% negative review on Better Business Bureau. Stay away from these crooks.

I've been here a few times and have found this bank to be very, very friendly and customer service oriented. BOA is my main bank, but, I am considering opening an account here.

Slow to respond emergency, like loss of debit card. Nobody to call from citizens after hours for business account. Wrong opening hours on map quest

Just went In there for some quarters. Not asking for free quarters, I have an account with Citizens. The lady wearing earbuds and glasses, don't know name since she doesn't wear a name tag, tells me I can only have $10 worth. Which it is what it is, but then tells me she can't give me any cause there isn't any, and good bye. I ask her "when might they might have some more". She gets up and asks the cashier next to her for quarters, who then pulls out about 100$-$200 worth and repeats I can only have one. Fine. I ask. "Would you not have simply asked her if she had any, if I didn't ask you the question". She gets upset that I dared to ask her to do her job and tells me "good day sir" Horrible horrible customer service. The lady was caramel complected wearing ear buds and no name tag, for obvious reasons. Pathetic excuse for customer service.

I am writing this review after a positive interaction with Citizen Bank at 315 Harvard Street in Brookline, MA. We are new to the branch and there was a misunderstanding on how the one-deposit bank account worked in terms of overdraft protection. Thanks to the help of one of the young staff 'Maritza Bautista', who is still in training, but has excellent communication skills and an innate ability to work with customers, our problem got resolved promptly and satisfactorily. With young people like her banks are in good hands. I strongly recommend this bank to newcomers but make sure you understand all policies as they are a bit different than other banks in the area.

Consumer beware. One of the tellers stole/lost my cash while making a deposit. The branch refused to take responsibility making me a victim. Stay away from this specific branch or you will end up a victim as well.
