Genie has the WORST customer service skills I have ever encountered at any business. When asking her why the bank shut my card off she became annoyed and accused me of giving her attitude. When I asked to speak to someone else she yelled I can call the customer service number and hung up on me. I have since called back 5 times for genie to ignore every call. Absolutely disgusting how she treats customers. Will be banking elsewhere from now on.

Citizens Bank management is unreasonable and unwilling to provide good customer service. I left my debit card at their ATM. I have made suggestions on how they can get it back. They are condescending and arrogant. They told me that I had to drive 95 miles to pick it up. They say that I will have to register a lost card. How can a Citizens bank card in the possession of Citizens bank be lost. Awful, ridiculous and pathetic guest service. I will be posting on Facebook also and I am removing all my money from Citizens. They don't care about their customers. They get a 1 star only because you are not allowed to rate less.

Drive up atm is a joke the machine is broken every time I go. How about you fix your equipment.

When you overdraft they take $37 every day

Sunday night I went to the drive up atm to deposit a large amount of cash. Of course I shoved too many bills in. It kept my money. And did not verify the deposit. I panicked. The banks are closed on sundays. I went in early Monday morning. Freaking out a bit. I learned the drive up atm is handled by an outside company. More panic set in. I needed to deposit that money immediately. They don’t come out until Tuesday for that atm. But. Within an hour. The company had come out. I got a call from citizens. They deposited my money. And I didn’t have to leave my house again. Couldn’t be happier.

This review is regarding a specific health hazard situation I encountered today. AFTER we entered the building we were informed of a potential Covid exposure by an employee who was currently quarantining at home awaiting test results. They had us fill out a form with our contact info for contact tracing. I noticed some people weren't informed until after they were finishing their transaction. If you need to go here please stick with the drive through window for now, I also found out no special cleaning was done inside. Reported to RI Dept of Health and Citizens HQ. I feel bad for the employees that have to work in these conditions, it's not their fault but we need to know the risks before we step inside!

Poor customer service. I do not usually write reviews but I had to this time. Since when can a business taking a $17k check, not be able to verify funds? Guess you have to take your chances with a bad check? Top it off, you get an attitude when you call and no sort of help? Maybe I should pull my money from this bank as well??
