I had the pleasure to work with Ray Hicks. From the very beginning, he was responsive and took the time to explain everything. He kept us informed constantly. I was able to text him anytime if I had a question and he would respond not just quickly, but with accurate information. If he didn't know something, which was not frequent, he told me and got back to me quickly with an answer. Most of all he was personable and friendly. There was no pressure to use his service and encouraged me to shop around. When our loan neared closing, we worked with other members of Ray's team. They were all very helpful and communicated well during the process. The online portal was easy to use too. Additionally, Ray in my opinion went above and beyond. As the lender, he took the time to call the seller's realtor and gave them assurances of how we looked as a buyer. This was done during the offer phase and in my opinion was part of the reason we were selected as the buyer duringa multiple offer situation.

Run for your lives. The process was a drain and frustrating. The loan application was easy. However, numerous documents were requested from numerous individuals and it was apparent no one was checking the folder to see that the items were there. This caused undo stress. The final closing amount was not provided until 23 hours prior to closing this caused issues with the investment company. Then 7:00 P.M., day before closing, more documents were needed about our current paid for house. These documents were already packed for the move and required my husband and I to unpack numerous boxes to secure documents. Now we think that is it, but no. 15-minutes before closing we are informed the title company has not been approved by Churchill so the closing could be delayed up to 10 days. After I went off on Churchill we were able to close the next morning. Dave Ramsey recommends Churchill and we thought we were going to have an excellent experience. It was not! Go to your local bank and get professional service.

Communication was key, all questions were answered and had great communication with our realtor as well. We were able to close 2 days early which was amazing on his part! We got to close on Friday which allowed us to move on the weekend. Kirk would answer text messages and calls at all times to answer questions. He was truly the reason we were able to close on our home so quickly. Definitely going to the Little team for any future purchases. I always love to throw their name out there for anyone in the market.

David Porter was great to work with. He answered all of our questions and explained everything in detail so that we clearly understood each step of the loan process along the way. He was kind, patient, honest, and worked with great integrity. We truly appreciated all of these qualities and the hard work he put in to helping us purchase our new home.

As a company recommended by Dave Ramsey education is mostly the reason we picked Churchill Mortgage our past experience was really good with that, but, this time I had to do most of the questioning and did not get like a walkthrough of documents, process and what to expect on each step. Homeowners are not experts in the matter we cannot always assume they know what's going on just because it's not their first home. Education and walkthrough throughout the entire process is key for responsiveness and decision making. I don't say the information wasn't given just saying I had to ask the questions and sometimes didn't know what questions to ask without a guide.

This was our first purchased home and were ignorant on everything involved. Peter was honest and reliable and went the extra mile to inform us on every little detail we were facing in buying a new home. Peter could of made more money off of us but choose not to and was generous. This is rare to find today. I recommend Peter and Churchill for any mortgage business. If I could give 10 stars I would.

So blessed to have worked with Austin McDaniel as our lender. He is very professional but it was the personal touches and caring about us as people; not just clients that was amazing. Once we were under contract with our seller, there were multiple problems . Austin walked through all of that with us and even spoke with the title company on our behalf the day of closing when the seller didn't show. Strongly recommend staying away from this company, especially Chris Shrader. As a first time home buyer much of process was completely new to me. Even through you tell them you are interested in more information and are comparing to other loan officers, they pressure you into filling out more documents than any other mortgage company. I received a dozen or more emails for me to fill out forms and at least 6-8 marketing emails within 10 days. Chris Shrader is especially pushy. If you don’t answer his phone calls, he will leave a voicemail, send an email or two, and send 1-2 texts messages. In the end, after deciding to work with a different mortgage company because I received a better pre-approval amount (about 20k more than Chris approved), Chris Shrader sent several passive aggressive emails and texts implying that my mortgage company has “misled” me to work with them.

Slava was Fantastic. We have challenges with my credit score, He gave me super help and support to be able to get my dream home. Any time called he is there for any questions. Thank you so much Slava, you are amazing .

I was given a pre-approval and then once I selected a property. I was given the run around for weeks. I was told one thing and then something different the next day. I had to get managers involved to get responses. I never did get a resolution with them. I ended up with another company with a better rate and quicker turn time.

It had been years since I refinanced my home and as my last loan had been modified, I had many questions that agent-Jenny Tran assisted me with. She even had me go back to my existing loan company with more questions that she didn't feel had been answered properly by them in my first call to them and she was right! I was busy with work and kept putting things off, but she pleasantly reminded me what I needed to send her and was not pushy at all. She made the whole experience flawless and fluid. My experience with nick was very unpleasant we are working idaho people we make 90 grand a year in idaho and he made us feel less than i know there are better lenders out there that can be more straight forward he would say different thi gs to me and say different thi gs to my wife his story would change from day to day and we wouldnt here from him for weeks at a time at best 3 days we have a family of six and we are hard working idahoans and we are in desperate need of housing for our four children 3 of which are special needs and my wife has cancer which he honestly showed no empathy for i would never ever tell my frei ds or family about one of the absolute worst experiences and a complete waste of months of my time NO THANKS NICK

Wilden was very helpful. He explained things and answered all our questions. He didn't try to push us into anything. The process was seamless and very easy. Very simple process was fully completed in what I felt was a very short amount of time. From first phone call with Edward, to several phone calls with Barrie and Barry, to the closing. Churchill app was great showing what stage the process was in. The only thing i would say is that the app sometimes shows that some documents are still needed even though they were submitted via email. I understand that is probably due to not submitting thru the app. All around 10/10 service, thank you to all!

Overall great company to work with as true “No Score” home buyers, especially as first time home buyers. There were issues with the appraisal causing hectic closing timing. This isn’t Churchill’s immediate issue, but they didn’t require it from the appraisers until the last minute, and they didn’t escalate the timing with the appraisal company when it was apparent we were in risk of missing closing because of it. It took action above and beyond on our pet to make it happen and it did cause issues that thankfully the seller was patient with.

Sandi Green and her team were really great to work with! They kept me well-informed about the process every step of the way, and provided useful analysis of my finances so that I could make an informed decision as to what type of loan I wanted to apply for. Highly recommended!

Halfway through the refinancing process with Wells Fargo, I was so frustrated and stressed out and confused that I contacted Churchill and it was a no brainer to go with them. I'm a Dave Ramsey zealot and had heard him talking about Churchill for years but I'd gone with Wells Fargo because they had our mortgage and I thought it would be simpler than starting over with a company with whom we had no history. WRONG!! It was SO much easier - in fact, it was totally pleasant dealing with Jenny Tran who is AWESOME. She was so helpful, explaining things to me in a way no one had ever done so before and I felt empowered and confident as opposed to a nervous, suspicious wreck. Everything that had drug on for months with W.F. took a matter of days with Churchill and we ended up closing so much faster AND saved thousands of dollars. I should have known Dave wouldn't steer me in the wrong direction!!

The best!! Beat Quicken Loans rate and terms, even though Quicken is supposed to be the biggest... obviously not the best though. The process was handled online and was super easy. I was able to submit all my documentation through simple PDF files or images of the documents. If I needed help I had a loan specialist I could call.. on his CELL PHONE, how great is that?! Many other companies available that have lower closing rates and services . Company will sell your account within days of closing to no name banks or companies that have little to no online services to make payments easy . Would not recommend using !

Sean answered all my questions about the process of buying a home in Missouri. He acted as a liaison between the different departments at Churchill and helped ensure I had all the appropriate documentation for the loan to be approved. When unexpected delays caused the seller of my home to cancel our deal, Sean reached out to her personally to explain the delay and then provided updates to her to keep her happy so we were able to purchase the home.

As new home buyers the process intimidated us - until we started working with Mary. Mary was absolutely fantastic! She explained everything to us so we could understand it as first-time homebuyers and was always there to answer any questions we had. I cannot say enough good things about the experience we had working with Mary.

It's hard to know where to begin with this review. My husband and I recently bought our first home and were excited to use Churchill Mortgage based off of Dave Ramsey's recommendation. However, we had the most miserable experience with them. I am posting this review because of how bad our experience was and also because we sent a complaint in to Churchill Mortgage and never heard a word back. I find that unacceptable. In the beginning, things went smoothly. Everyone was friendly, polite, and responsive. As soon as our offer was accepted, however, and communication stopped almost completely. We never heard a word from anybody unless we reached out. The team also would not stay in touch with our realtor or keep him in the loop. He said he's never had an experience like this with a mortgage company. It felt like a complete bait-and-switch! I reached out to them 10 days before our closing trying to make sure everything was on track. They told us it was... and then we proceeded to get delayed because Churchill wasn't prepared. They made errors on our documents (including messing up my name), they gave us no instructions (and when they did, a lot of the information was false), they gave us less than 24 hours to try and accomplish all sorts of tasks in the last week that should've been completed way earlier (we couldn't make any plans with work, for example, because we had no clue what Churchill was doing), et cetera... There was no regard to our time (not to mention our realtors and the sellers, who were also all in limbo waiting on Churchill to get their act together). When my husband voiced some concerns in a nice but firm email right before we were supposed to close and still had no info (we tried to give them much time...), we received an unprofessional, rude response blaming me for not understanding one particular thing in a long email chain. And, for the record, I wasn't confused about anything they said; I wanted clarification as to why they were providing false information to me. There was no apology for any confusion or even addressing our concerns. They told us the evening before our scheduled closing date that we were waiting on the title company. However, closing day morning, the title company tells us they're still waiting on "critical" information from Churchill Mortgage. We were deceived. And, then, when I reached out and pointed some of this information out to our team at Churchill, we were blatantly lied to again. Completely unacceptable! On closing day, about an hour after the above exchange, they suddenly announced they needed information from our new HOA. This should have been requested weeks in advance. Our closing was officially delayed. It really felt like our team at Churchill had absolutely no clue as to what they were doing, and it really showed. I don't want to ramble on, but needless to say, we were extremely frustrated. Lack of attention to detail, the worst communication I've ever experienced with a professional company, mistakes, incorrect/false information being provided, bad attitudes, and so on and so forth... We had to directly call supervisors to get any information out of anyone, and even the supervisor did not follow up on her word to us. Because of Churchill Mortgage, we almost had to cancel all of our moving plans which would have seriously cost us financially and in regards to our time and energy as well. All the while, they acted as though we were the problem and pretended everything was okay. We wanted our situation drawn to others' attention. My husband and I have never submitted a complaint to anyone; we really try to give grace and be understanding, but this was too much. Churchill Mortgage made our first home-buying experience an absolutely miserable experience with no repercussions whatsoever. We had high hopes coming into this experience, but we can say with absolute certainty that we will not be using Churchill Mortgage again nor will we ever recommend them to anyone we know.

Heroes First is great! I had to make a last minute change from NavyFed to a local mortgage by request of my seller to get a more timely closing. Ill be recommending Brenda Marshall to all my friends/family. With Brenda, there aren't any dumb questions. The process of buying a home has a large sequence of steps especially when you throw in the underwriting process and communication between real estate agent, closing attorney, and the lender. However, communication within Brenda's team ( including the underwriter Mark and other assistant Odysee) never caused me any confusion and they were always on the same page which delivered a very concise and clear picture of how things would proceed which gives me confidence that they know what they are doing. This is very important to trust not only that they are looking out for your best interest but also that they are competent. The same message was delivered by every member of her team. Externally, her communication with my real estate agent and the closing attorney was phenomenal and whenever something needed to be communicated to them, Brenda offered to do that for me. She is very detail-oriented and double checks always. She has immense enthusiasm for what she does on every single call. Although it may seem like an obvious quality a home loan specialist should have, Brenda really respected my time. She can cross all the T's and dot all the i's very quickly and be off the phone in 2 minutes....seriously impressive.

We originally were going to a national bank chain to get a mortgage. Judging from the seemingly completely unprepared loan agent we were dealing with, we anticipated disaster. Slava at Churchill mortgage was so professional yet personal, and always timely and efficient. My loan had multiple obstacles and Slava was persistent in pursuing the solutions that worked for me and my family to purchase our dream property!! I am certain that Slava was more diligent than most any other loan professional would be. Jami was also amazing in getting everything tied up and closed, also while being so personable and communicative. 10/10 recommend… I can’t say enough positive things about this Churchill team!!

Please do not ignore this review! This company has cost us thousands of dollars and the house we wanted is out of our price range. We started the refinance process Oct 2021. The Phoenix have continually requested documents that were already sent. They dropped the ball so many times that another appraisal has to be completed, documents have to be updated constantly. I yet have to hear from Corporate. Mike Hardwick should spend more money on customer service training than advertising. Use Caliber Homes, they refinance my other property in 39 days. No issues with anything. Oh and all the corporate managers hide behind their assistants so don't expect a call from them.

Absolutely amazing to work with and kind. Always available to ask questions to and never made me feel like I was stupid for asking. Would recommend to anyone especially first time home buyers. Absolutely amazing customer service and I can’t say enough good things about them.

I've always used brokers before, but I went with Josh at Churchill Mortgage not only because I received a competitive rate, but I felt like I was working with someone who knew his business, but also cared about me as an individual.

I went with Churchill because I was a big Dave Ramsey follower. You hear all the time on his show how this mortgage company has a heart of a teacher. Well this is further from the truth. Communications is poor a simple refinance that should have taken maybe 30 days to close took 3 months. Trying to ask important questions was like pulling teeth. And when you finally did get someone to answer questions they were rude and unhelpful. If you are a Dave Ramsey follower his teaching might be good but his ELPs are something else to be desired. I would definitely do your homework before looking at this mortgage company. When you first talk to them they are nice and show empathy. But after you get months into it communications break down then you are passed on to other people that are rude and very unhelpful.

I started a conversation with Jesse Phillips. He was very nice and we began the process with us providing ALL the info they needed. Then for the next 3 weeks, he NEVER answered my calls or emails I left Voice messages and emails, but NOBODY from Churchill responded. We had a deadline, as the house was under contract and we REALLY wanted it! IF they were not going to grant us a mortgage, they (JESSE or someone at Churchill) should have let us know! I had a "Plan B" lined up and I am SO glad I did or we would have LOST the house to another buyer! I am SO disappointed in Churchill and Jesse Phillips. I hear Dave Ramsey talk about them all the time, but we had a truly awful experience with them. I truly HOPE this was an isolated case, but the whole ordeal seemed like it was run by total amateurs! I expected better from a Dave Ramsey recommended company!

This company promised me several times. They were paying my property tax. They have failed to do so every occasion. Do not believe what they tell you. They are lying and just trying to get your business. This company has caused me several thousands in back pay as well as property taxes that were supposed to be in my loan. I contacted them several times. Each time they would say yes your right and then promise me they will be paid. They never paid them. They are a bunch of crooks and liars. I am so disappointed I ever did business with them.

John Scott was THE key person in our home buying process. While we were second time homebuyers, this was our first mortgage so we had to learn a lot of new processes. John really helped us figure out what we were doing and actually helped us understand what was normal or not normal with some of the real estate, stuff, too. We are grateful that John helped us through this process and spent a lot of time on the phone with us making sure everything was clear and understandable.

We dealt with several other lenders for refi in that time and had mediocre experiences, so we came back to Les when we purchased our new home. Liars! They will promise you whatever you want to hear to get your loan. I will say they are very personal which is so deceiving because they want you to believe they care about you, but they don’t. The information given was always a YES mentality, but often we were misinformed with earnest money and other items and had to be recanted. We financed our home with them, being told they would service the loan and we’re proud of their ability to do that. Not even a month after we closed they sold our loan to another company that requires twice the insurance. (I feel Churchill should pay for that) Now it appears choosing Churchill is going to cost a lot more money in the long run due to them not following through on their promises. They will be nice until they get their commissions and then throw you to the side like rubbish…

Sei and his team were amazing. I lost a loan with a preferred lender because my credit evaporated over the last year and I no longer qualified, and we were closing fast. With no credit and a rapidity I haven't experienced before, Sei was able to get me a new loan and work with a developer who had intense time frames and demands. On top of it, Sei was super responsive by text and email all times of the day, always available. This is my fourth mortgage and I have to say, although the stress with new development, Covid, supply delays, etc., it has been my best experience.

The loan officer was great. His name was Jarrod. He worked really hard to make sure I got my loan. I bought a house before the process was easier then because it was a smaller home. When I felt like giving up Jarrod didn’t give up. When I was over the whole process and stop doing the work he kept working really hard with my husband. I never got to thank him because I just was over it. Almost a year later we are enjoying our home thanks Jarrod.

My advice is to stay away for Churchill if you want to save some of your time and money. Im a 1st time homebuyer who decided to go with Churchill as my realtor suggested. I agree that they explained things pretty well but I couldn’t close on the day I was suppose to and this happen twice which made the seller not wanting to close with us anymore, we had to offer extra money that increased my loan amount and my mortgage insurance. All I got from Churchill was ‘SORRY’ and I don’t think that will help me pay my bills. It’s a highly unprofessional and unethical structure, please go with any other bank or lender but stay away from them Churchill Mortgage, as heard on Dave Ramsey show

For one they Churchill mortgage asked the buyer why she was seeking her home so low. Asked her questions such as “ are you in the right state of mind to be selling your home”. Which endangered my chance of getting a home. Then Churchill mortgage told her she was “drastically under selling her home”. This is the worst experience ever. Churchill mortgage made a simple pre approval last 5 months. Churchill mortgage also stated that “we can’t charge you enough to make this loan work” I had 20% down on the loan and they still managed to try and charge me 7 grand in closing costs with there preferred agency and never could get anything approved even thou I had more than double the equity in the appraisal. So you may ask well how could it get worse? It got very worse they endangered my whole entire life of just not saying that they couldn’t make it work. I was going to be out of a house and forced to find a place to live and lose all my savings in fees along with a nightmare of a move to no idea where. Never go to Churchill mortgage unless you feel like putting everything at great risk and you are borrowing more than five hundred thousand and ready to pay more than 10 percent in fees. Churchill mortgage definitely doesn’t respect Dave Ramsey way of financial responsibility at all.
