Chemical Bank N Main St, Mt Clemens

Since at least June 9, 2021 TCF Bank (formerly Chemical Bank and now a part of Huntington Bank) has been aware of an error regarding a $310.88 check made payable to myself by Macomb County. The error is significant. It involves the fact that I did not sign or present the check to any bank for cashing. TCF is aware that this is a correct statement of fact because it has an image of the front and back of the check. Although TCF did begin a "fraud" investigation and I did sign an Affidavit, I still do not have my money. I keep being told by the TCF Bank's Assistant Manager in Mt. Clemens that the matter is pending with its fraud department. However, I have not heard from anyone in the fraud department and I have not been made whole by TCF simply doing a "chargeback" from the account in which the check was cashed. It is a simple matter and this should have been done by now. It looks like TCF is going to have to be sued in order for me to obtain my money. Although the TCF manager and assistant manager have been friendly and have made outward appearances of being customer service friendly, the fact remains I do not have my $310.88. I cannot recommend this entity to be used by people for transacting their banking needs.

HR Malana shouldn’t be an HR representative. Had a interview with her over the phone and made me feel uncomfortable not to mention very rude at the end of the interview. “Okay thanks for your time”, (wasn’t in a friendly manner) could’ve been more friendly. After seeing these reviews I definitely wouldn’t want to work there. If I could give her a zero star I would. Yes this HR representative was for this location.

Just had an absurd visit to the drive-through. Hardly any customers, but could have taken a nap in the time it took. I think the speakers need to be way louder, as confusion about what was said contributed to the delays.

One of the worst banks ive ever worked with on customer service. Most of the tellers are rude and service is just overall a disappointment

This is a Tcf Bank now. Very nice and pleasant staff.

TCF Bank has been great for the last 10yrs for me, I wish they would continue to keep the name. The new name will be Huntington by the end of this year, they probably won't have the type of service that TCF had, I my choose to find another bank.

Bank is terrible after buying out Citizens First/Talmer Bank. You deposit cash and they put a hold on it! All other banks I’ve used are way way better. Closing my account today!

I think she is a manager/Teller (Blonde in her 50's). Don't know her name she did not have name tag. Very rude and arrogant. Did not want to help at all. Stay away.

The teller lady was very rude, just because I am not american doesnt mean you can be very rude to me or any other person that is not american.
