CheckSmart Linden Ave, Dayton

I have actually not had any problems with this company at all or location until this day but I called today to this location 10 min ago to pay back my loan which I have always paid back on time and Jessica answered my call and was extremely rude. Kept cutting me off while I was giving my card information and didn't even thank me or tell me to have a nice day after I completed my payment. Makes me want to go to Cashland or some other loan place when I need a cash advance. If I do continue to use checksmart I will be calling a different location to borrow or repay which is a shame because this is the location I signed up at so I figured I could rely on them to be pleasant during repayment.

They are open till 7 most close early around 4 or 5

Paige refused to explain what a line of credit is. Demanded I drive 20+ minutes for a face to face explanation. I asked her If she just didn't want my business and she got really rude... I'll go to another location.

Borrowed for checksmart asked for $ 400.00. Never a problem in 3 years. They said the approved me for a line of credit up to $500.00. So I get check for $ 380.00 and owe $ 430.00 in two weeks. Ok prices are more but I can live with the increase. Now 6weeks late they call me and tell me I owe them $13.56 every month for a year. For a annual fee. I called Crestline told them to cancel this open line of credit and this fee. It was not explained to me openly and clearly when I asked for this one time borrow. They told me as soon as I pay,$ 184.00 for a line of credit. That's over 50% fee from my the 380 I borrowed with the other fees. Crestline and checksmart a fraudulent in all the papers and signatures. When not tell you up front these extra fees they just slip in in your pill af papers. WHAT A RIPOFF. CONTACTING BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU

this is suppost to be a payday loan place. They run a discrimative 3rd party application. ive taken at least 8 payday loans in the past year and was denied . Dont waste your time borrowing money from this place . There more interested in your personal info opposed to helping you with a traditional payday loan.

This checksmart location is honestly one of the cleanest ones i have seen. The staff is wonderful they have been very help full the ladies are very nice and sweet The company should be lucky to have such a great staff they work hard are polite and the move fast Thank you checksmart for keeping such a great store.

I didn't even get a loan here, someone I know did. They call me daily, sometimes numerous times a day, for over a week. I have told them at least 7 times to stop calling me. They keep calling. If they don't stop I'm going to file harassment or something.

Still haven't received my $25 gift card I was selected for, and get the same answer about it every time.. But friendly fast service, very accessible and the best checksmart in Dayton. They provide over the phone assistance w/whatever they can help with, and when you walk through the door, almost always a smile on the other side of the glass. Right next to the donut shop too, great location, great staff.

When I had called to ask a simple question the lady that answered the phone was very rude. I routinely cash checks here and will not be returning from now on.

I applied for my taxes got approved for 4,500 in advance and get called my check was ready go to pick it up its only for 500 they claim its the banks fault i called the bank they said its the stores fault moral of the story i paid 1500 dollars for a 500 dollar advance and disnt get the 4000 so dont do taxes with these rip off artists
