I had the pleasure of working with Ned Chatelain to help us find a summer house on Cape Cod. My wife and I made several day trips with a list of houses to look at. Ned was extremely patient with us as we went through the process. On one such trip our car broke down. I call Ned and he came to pick us up roadside. He recommended a car-repair shop for AAA to tow it to. Went to his parents house to pick up a car seat for my grandson and then showed us the houses and dropped us off at a hotel we booked for the emergency. BTW we did not buy a house that trip. On our third trip, we finally found a house we liked and put an offer on it Ned was right there helping us all the way through the process. 6 Months later, I call Ned for recommendations on plumbers, and all sorts of things. Outstanding- just outstanding. Agnes and Ed worked with us to sell my old home. It was definitely “not your typical Cape ranch”, so we needed the right buyer and they found them. They helped me find it back in 2002, and were so helpful then that I knew who my first call should be today when it was time to sell. Agnes and Ed helped us from the first walkthrough with our tenants all the way to the point of sale. They advised on making really smart choices for improvements and suggested that some of what we thought should be done was not necessarily needed- and pointed out a couple things that we hadn’t considered that really improved marketability.
